Central hotel in beautiful setting.”
Managed to get this on a promotion, hotel is very central however still manages to feel like a resort, it does not feel like a commercial chain hotel which was my concern. The rooms are great, nice and clean however the food is not on the great side. If you are not too fussy with food then go for the hotel breakfast but to me it was just alright. Definitely would stay in this hotel again.

Heritage hotel in the heart of town”
Pros: spacious room, very central location at the Satam Square roundabout, gazetted as a heritage site by the local govt so the overall hotel has unique Chinese-Dutch decor Cons: I kept having problems with my room key card (door could not open), the breakfast is a bit limited (not sure if it's because I'm here in low season)

Pro: Good size room and bathroom, AC ok, very good breakfast, some staff are very friendly, motorbike for rent at 100.000 Rp per 24 hours, some good and cheap warung's nearby Not: Swimming pool is being cleaned by vacuum cleaner but still after few hours the water has green colors, so not very welcoming for a swim. The mattress of the bed is too soft for me. Some more information could have been given at the moment of check-in (everything had to be asked).

Decent Hotel with Good Location”
We've stayed in this hotel for 2 nights using AGODA, one thing that we loved from this hotel is the location which is in the center of the city..lots of places can be reached by walking i.e. Warkop Kong Djie Coffee (the first shop), Soto Belitong Mak Janna, Kedai Kopi Ake, Mie Belitong Atep, Tanjung Pendam beach, etc. If something that can be improved / to considered by the hotel management are: 1. AC maintenance: the AC was dripping in our room, however the hotel only provided cloth to collect the droplets without any concrete improvements during our stay 2. A night shift receptionist should be given a spare money / change to anticipate guests who check out early and have a fee at the hotel. We have to wait for sometime since the receptionist have to find small change for our expenses.. Other than that the hotel is still ok to stay.

Hotel is clean and comfortable beds but don't stay during low season as they serve ala carte menu where you only order simple dish like fried noodle or fried rice. Disappointed by this. For such price, you can find better options elsewhere.

Best hotel in Belitung”
12hours of planes delays to Belitung (Thanks Garuda, Indonesias best, lol) made our day less than enjoyable, but arriving at our place of stay at 11pm, we were impressed and satisfied with what Billiton Hotel & Klub had to offer right from the start. A warm welcome and a no fuss check in alleviated any stress, the clean and fresh room allowed us to relax and chill out immediately. Breakfast was wonderful with a great range of dishes (Cereal, Traditional Indonesian and Asian dishes, freshly made Omelets, freshly squeezed juices, kopi, tehs and an assortment of freshly sliced fruits.) Breakfast was really nice and fresh. We had the fortune to share breakfast with the manager who sat down and discussed the history of the hotel and Belitung and also set us up for a island hopping tour later on in the day. The layout is nice, the ambiance is chilled and relaxed and the hotel would suite families and/or couples as a place to simply unwind or centralize there base for a tour of Belitung island. My fiancee and myself will definitely be back to Billiton because its easily the best a hotel on the Island.

Nice little hotel with good service and location”
We decided to book Billiton despite a few choices in Belitung. One day before arrival, I called to make sure they pick us up at the airport (airport pick up charge is IDR 130,000 per car). And when we arrived, the staff was already waiting outside of the arrival gate. The car was decent. Arriving, we were served welcome drink and brought to our room. I love the room. The bed was facing the big window, outside the window was the balcony but we did not really spend time there as the view was not quite good (just trees), and there weren't any chairs (but I did not mind this). The room was spacious, it had a big comfy wooden chair and a mini-bar (mini fridge). The bathroom is old-fashioned (in a good way), I would say it is vintage. It was really clean and spacious too. For our commute, we rented a motorbike from the hotel. It costed IDR 100,000 per 24 hours, exclude the fuel. We booked the room inclusive of breakfast. I liked the food they served. They had different specialties every day, and they served local dishes such as Mie Belitung and Bubur Manado (two different days). There were other choices of heavy meal such as rice, fried chicken and squid, also fruits and salad, toast, omelettes. The breakfast area is near the swimming pool so we could enjoy our breakfast overlooking the pool. The hotel only accommodated 20-something rooms so the hotel is quite and serene. Location wise, we think Billiton is situated in a very strategic area. Walking distance were the famous Mie Belitung Atep, Kong Djie coffee shop, a big shopping center (Barata). Overall we loved our stay, we think the staff and the manager were very polite and professional.

Comfortable and Clean”
The hotel is notably clean with warm with friendly staff. it's rather modest, if you expect luxury, yet very comfortable. Food is good and breakfast is at roofed terrace. More variety in menu would be nice though. Recommended for travelers with rented vehicle because hotel location is at the center of Tanjung Pandan. Close to original Warung Kopi Khong Djie and Infamous Mie Atep, but rather far from beach unless you love walking. Around 30mins by car to Tanjung Kelayang, 45-60mins to Tanjung Tinggi and more or less 60mins to Kampung Gantung (Andrea Hirata & Ahok's Village)

Pro: my kids feel like home in this hotel, they love the ambience of the hotel, and foods are delicious...staff very nice and polite..Also, the location is really in the center of tanjung pandan, can easily walk to the famous mie atep, and very nice traditional javanese angkringan pak gembul Cons: no lift and no direct view to the beach..swimmingpool can be better if the leaves on the surface are regularly cleaned

We had made Billiton Hotel & Klub our home for 6 lovely days. The hotel staff were attentive and helpful. The General Manager was thoughtful and had offered great advice to what we can do on this island. As we had arrived on this island during the raining season, it wasn't always sunny, but still we managed to have a great time. I will recommend everybody to come make Billiton Hotel & Klub a home to stay for vacation.

Super Clean & Great Hospitality”
This hotel is very well managed, especially its cleanliness. Furnitures and fixtures are well maintained, bed sheet and pillows are smell soooo .... fresh. It's really a pleasant room to take a rest after cruising the whole island of Belitung. You'll even regret to leave the room (mine was facing the pool) the next morning to resume your sight seeing. Breakfast was great, offers fairly many choices including localities. Hotel staffs, from the front desk to coffee shop, are helpful and they've gone extra miles to make guests stay as pleasant as possible. HOWEVER though, the standard room is very basic concerning its price. No safe box, no tea, no kettle. They provide a tiny bath soap for double occupancy room and need to ask for a pair of sleeper. I believe it is overpriced by 30% ...... LOL

the hotel is right in the middle of the city centre, just in front of batu satam monument. walk distance to shops. not too far from tanjung pendam beach. though the best beaches and access to islands are outside the city (20-25 km). small exclusive hotel with old-colonial style but very clean and with modern facilities including wifi and swimming pools. this hotel definitely deserves more than two stars or even three stars. but price could be cheaper if there were not limited good hotels in tanjung pandan. breakfast is rather standard, with some local tastes. the staffs are very helpful, and the personal service from the gm is excellent.

Best Hotel at Belitong”
Last month we went to Belitong for our honeymoon trip. According to my friend's recommendation Billiton Hotel is the right one to stay and he was totally true! :D It's located in the middle of the town so it is easy to reach there. There are also so many signature food around the hotel. The hotel's facility is good enough. It was only 24 room so you will have a private situation to enjoy with your partner :p The food was nyummy and the staff was so warm and nice. You only have to pay 50k/person if you want to be pick from/to Airport. (one way). Just my opinion about the room, the furniture was quite old but it's still okay. If you want to stay in Belitong, we suggest you stay in here. Happy visit Belitong! :)
