Lovely place and helpful staff ”
The place is clean and the staff patient and kind. We had a warm welcome. I had booked in before my family and friends arrived. On our return we were met by Monowar. He accompanied us. When we got to the door, I couldn't find the key and Monowar waited patiently until I found it. Also I made a second booking for my friend. When she went for breakfast, she was told that she had to pay for it because it was not on her book. However the management was so kind, they understood her delima and in the end she never had to pay. Thank you!!

I was very impressed with Monowar. He was very helpful and patient with me. I'd checked in earlier so when my family came we just went to our room, but I couldn't find the key while he was waiting with our luggage, but he calmly waited and with a pleasant demeanour. I made 2 different bookings on different days so according to the paper work, I didn't tick for having breakfast for the second booking. So when my friend went for her breakfast she was told that she had to pay 50AED. However, the staff was very kind, they waivered the cost and my friend had a free breakfast. I would definitely recommend and book again whenever I visit RAK and have to over night.

I stayed with my family for one night on 1st Feb 2019 and I can say the whole experience was just excellent, right from check-in where Mr Adnan checked us in in less than 90 seconds. As myself being from the customer service industry for the last 26 years, I could feel the service provided by Adnan was from the heart. He not only got us the room keys in record time, but when I mentioned it’s my wedding anniversary, he also immediately arranged a complimentary cake and was kept in my room upon our return in the evening. The next day as we got a bit late from the other Bin Majid Resort, he allowed us for a late check-out thus relieving me of the pressure of sorting and packing specially with 3 kids. All in all excellent service and I will definitely be visiting again.

We had an amzing two days at RAK while staying at Acacia hotel, and I can say thanks to Amran at the reception who was really helpful and kind. Our room got upgraded for free among other free entertainment facilities Amran offered to us... beach access, kayaking and pool bar!! Definitely we are going back there again and again :)

Decent place for a short stay - I would consider not taking breakfast there”
I got a good deal through Agoda or else I wouldn’t have stayed there. The pillows (2nos) were of the cheapest quality in the market; too thin. A got a special offer on breakfast - 50aed from the checkin counter instead of 95aed from the restaurant. The variety was to the bare minimum; if I knew that I wouldn’t have taken it. However, the hotel is clean, descent rooms and friendly staff. I believe it doesn’t deserve a higher rate than what I got through Agoda (135aed per night).

Not proper assistance and consideration of Emergency Situation.”
I booked through Agoda.com and got a very nice deal for 2 rooms on BB for check-in on 4th & out on 5th, but due to an unfortunate situation which ended us up in hospital we could not visit & kept on asking the hotel's reservation one day earlier of arrival to postponed, cancel or refund as they can sell these 2 rooms in much higher price as this day been declared as Eid which was not expected. The booking was prepaid non-refundable through Agoda they mentioned that all is in Agoda's hand, & I got replied from Agoda that they have requested the Hotel, but hotel did not accepted, I would never book through any booking website & non-refundable as the Hotel does not consider the situation and their ongoing relationship. I am a hotelier too and aware that some solution could be offered. Specially when I mentioned that give any other dates to stay which could be any day in low season. It shows that the guest stay or does not stay no matter but the hotel has received the payment. Thank you

Great for road trip stay”
It is a good hotel, with all the facilities required for a comfortable night or two stay. They seem to have a lot of package holidaymakers but fine in general. Hotel is far from city so vehicle is required. We had a good stay there as we mainly were there to explore places and did not spend much time at hotel. Staff were attentive, rooms basic but clean.

It was ok staying in this hotel... but make sure, check the room first if its smells cigarettes...i booked for none smoking, the receptionist gave me 601 & the smell was terrible cigarettes!! 😠😤...good thing the receptionist gave us a another room, it was clean & none smoking suite room. Happy & satisfied !!! 👍👌

Great customer service, but facilities needs to improve”
My stay with Bin Majid Acacia Hotel is always pleasant with the Courteous staff, and excellent Reception team. They will not let you go without having your needs fully met. Just a little improvement on the facilities, most shower doors have loose rubber edges, which is an accident hazard, the electricity outlet are randomly switched off ( you need to figure out where is the working ones) and the hotel chairs are very few.

Overall hotel is very good, rooms are clean and well maintained, staff are cooperative but i will give a rate of 6/10 because of the below points: - Corridors are not furnished by any carpets, hence guests walking through out there can easily listen to their talking in my room and kids shouting because of the echo in the corridor. - The same noise with the housekeeping trolleys. - Rooms window are not anti-noise couldn't have a nap easily as my room was in the pool side.

Thank you, we were selected as guest of the day and so our room was upgraded from standard to suite room, also we they make us avail the late check out. This was so unexpected, can't thank the hotel much. I would just like to comment on the breakfast, I hope they could add more dishes. Overall, our stay was great, will recommend it to our friends.
