Great location, friendly service, nice balcony”
We enjoyed our stay at Binh Duong 2. the location was nice, in a residential suburb where we could get everything we needed. It was nice to be away from the saturated touristy part of the town, full of empty bars and restaurants. Room was very clean, and very big. The staff were very helpful with arranging tours. They even lent us a Lonely Planet for the duration of our stay. They gave us free tea or coffee every day, but breakfast not included.

For the price we paid (12.00) we were really happy with this hotel. We arrived from the airport at 8am and they had our room ready to go....a lot of other places charge extra when booking in earlier. Nice clean rooms, although a bit tired, they were very clean. Friendly staff and good directions to tourist sights around the city.

Outdated but clean hotel”
The hotel is located close to the main restaurant area of Hue (10 minute walk) and not far from the old imperial city. The hotel is rather old, but rooms are quite light and large. The rates are low, so for a short stay definitely recommended

Good hotel with friendly staff”
hotel located in quiet area. staff gave nice greeting on arrival. a number of staff spoke english so any queries were easily sorted out. staff also offered tours of the city but weren't pushy about it. room allocated on top floors was spacious with balcony looking out over city. only downside was the climb up flights of stairs to get to room- elevator would have been nice. hotel located in area that allows you 15-20 minute walk to train station, canal area, citadel, and western restaurant area. as well good viet eatery only 1 minute walk at end of street. overall good value for money and definitely stay again.

Nice hotel in quiet location with large rooms”
A nice and quiet hotel with spacious rooms with a lot of light. I was staying on the 4th floor in a room with a balcony and a nice view of the city. The staff is OK, their English is sometimes a bit difficult to understand and they are not the warmest people but they don't try too hard to sell you any tours. The room was clean, the bathroom was old but clean. Hot water most of the times. Hotel has wifi but it is not the fastest.

Friendly hotel in walking distance to Citadel”
Hotel is conveniently located very close to the Citadel and also close - 20 minutes walk to the main bars and the area of nightlife. Staff was very friendly, helping arrange the tour to the sights and also arranging the taxi to the railway station for the fair price. We received a large room with the balkony and nice view. I can recommend the hotel. It is worth the money.

Excellent customer service & great value for money”
The location is a little out of the way which means that it is quite quiet however it is a bit of a walk to most of the restaurants and bars at night time. It's well located for visiting the citadel and the owner of the hotel couldn't do enough for me whilst I was there. I was greeted with a Vietnamese tea and yoghurt and then given a free coffee every morning whilst I used the internet. The room was comfortable and a decent size although the TV had very poor reception. It was the best value for money I've had in Vietnam. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great little hotel - only fault is that it's a little further from the main tourist strip than others, although only a 10 min walk. Rooms are well equipped, most having a balcony. Staff are very friendly and helpful and not overly pushy on tours or onward transport, although they can arrange everything from there. Offers small choice of food for breakfast, plus free internet in the lobby.

Nice place, lovely staff, good motorbike rental”
This place was lovely and run by very friendly and helpful women. They helped with everything from a motorbike rental, bus ticket purchase, laundry, etc. etc. The room was cleaned every day, the shower was very good, and it's two blocks away from a great vegetarian restaurant.

Nice basic central hotel”
A well known hotel (no probel getting a taxi there). A litle off from the fallange hotel/resturang getto. The staff was a litle bit pushy to sell you tours but even when I bought my busstrip other places did they give good sevice.

Avoid This Hotel for at least another 3 months ”
I booked this hotel in June last year after reading all those fvourable reviews. Never come back to check again which was a fatal mistake. The review stopped in Sept last year. Obviously they were not in business since then but I was not been told. It was 6pm when I arrived at this hotel. It was actually a building site just right next to it. This is an extension at its early stage. Geographical Situation: No only this hotel's extension was under construction, there is another house right across also being built. The street is only 5m across so u can see it n hear it loud and clear. In the next street there is a huge multi storeys hotel/office building also under construction. Monstrous machineries are in place n no need to say they also create unstop noise pollution during day time hours. Vietnamese workers are really workaholics and they started as early as 7am. Sunny day it is dusty, raining day it is muddy. Another inhumane situation was that when the workers came to work the owner turned off one power line, there was still light n air conditioning, but no elevator, no wifi and no tel to contact the reception. Imagine I stayed on 5th floor n I had to physically walk down the stairs to go out. Breakfast supposedly included but no sign of it. Even it was provided how could I eat at this dusty environment? Any compensation? Don't ever think about it as owner obviously only understood something in their flavour. I believe I was the only unfortunate customer during these 2 days stay. I am happy to leave.

So so hotel just for overnight”
it is ok to stay overnight as the cost is not very high though you can get much better hotel if you can spend more. no elevator, wifi unstable, staff refused to purchase train ticket even though they post this service at the reception. no restaurants around and about 20 min walking distance to the palace. the airport pickup is a very aged van, maybe taking taxi is better choice.
