Great Position, great food and service”
A secluded hotel on the beach made for a great break from travel.Town was only a cheap taxi fare away or cheaper by Bimo and the staff were friendly and helpful, English was not widely spoken but enough to get by.Trips were available for north and south through helpful Perama who arrange travel in and ut of Senggigi and Lombok at reasonable prices. The hotel is set in gardens around a pool on the beach and meals can be taken in pagodas overlooking the sea with wi-fi connection as well.

bintang Senggigi right on the beach”
Overall we liked the Bintang Senggigi - its location on the beach meant each night we saw the most glorious sunsets. Senggigi is a very quiet part of Lombok. Be sure to go to the SQUARE restaurant it was fantastic - stay away from Tropicana next door though! Money changing is safe in Senggigi, pool man is lovely at the hotel and so is the chef! If we went back to Senggigi we would stay there again. 3 thous to get into main area on bemo!

comfortable for a couple of nights”
The Bintang Senggigi was a relaxing place to begin our holiday in Lombok. Its location a few minutes (by car) from the center of Senggigi had its pluses and minuses; on the plus side it had a quiet, unhurried atmosphere; on the negative side we had to find transport to go into restaurants or spas. This was not too bad though as taxis were easy to get and there was also the option of jumping into the back of a bemo with the locals. The room was very comfortable with our six-year-old able to sleep by herself on the sofa so that no extra bed was required. Breakfast was Indonesian buffet with generous portions and very good fresh fruit.

Cheap hotel in good location”
The hotel is conviniently located just outside Senggigi. The oldish building was under renovation during our stay and hopefully problems we had with leaks in the bathroom and malfunctioning air conditioning will be fixed. We commented on the quality of the breakfast after our second night and saw great improvement after that so it was great to see that our opinion was taken into consideration. The staff was very friendly and helpful even though on 1 occasion we had to wait nearly 30minutes to get our breakfast while we were the inly customers at the time. Direct access to quiet beach and great swimming pool. Good rooms overall.

all is good. perfect place to stay and good price. Regret that i have to stay in other hotel on my 1st day coz they are fully booked (hate moving here n there). the staff are helpful. they also offer good price and option for going around.

Horror”
This hotel is very interesting nice and also beautiful, but at the same time, its look like a horror hotel, u can feel something not going well. There is something horror in the toilet, something look at u.

Not Based in Senggigi”
I'm sorry but I don't think I have much positive to say about this hotel. I will say that if you are looking to going to Senggigi please don't expect to find clear blue beaches and good shopping, as it's the opposite. There's rubbish everywhere and it often smells unpleasant. But the hotel, it was very big but I'm pretty sure we were the only occupants and did not get a holiday vibe from the place, perhaps it was because it was semi under construction and overcast everyday. It's not located in the centre of Senggigi so you'll have to get a cab ride to the hotel then recommend hiring a scooter for your stay. It is right next to the road so you continuously hear traffic. The bathroom was not the best and the floor was for some reason sticky. I know there's recommendations to see Batu Bolong (temple) but it seriously not worth the coin, it walks out next to their very polluted beach and you'll find better temples in Bali.

The hotel had many ammenities for a comfortable stay. During this time of the year there is not as much staff as normal. The room was clean but the bathroom was old and outdated. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

beautifull hotel but bad service”
check in was a problem, there was a double booking for my last night, problem could only be solved the next day after i spoke to the manager. service in restuarant was also not good, for example: 1day they had no bread, could not make sandwich, hamburger or a hotdog. service was very slow, but that is normal for lombok! otherwise it is a beatifull hotel with a very nice setting

Quite hotel”
A small hotel with only four sunbeds. It was placed in the middel of no ther so you always had to take a taxi or a bemo to go to the restaurants. The breakfast was ok, it was egg, white bread, marmelad, juice, coffe and fruit. It was a very quite hotel with olny a few gustes. The beach outside the hotel was not good and you couldnt lie in the sand withaout falling into the see. The staff was very kind and nice.

Hotel needs to upgrade internet”
Value was good. Needs to upgrade internet Works well at reception area nonexistent at rooms. Breakfast was excellent. Need to repaint outside some areas. Staff was excellent. Very good service.

small hotel with a poor service”
actually the hotel is quite nice. Its is situated close to the beach where we can do snorkling and seing fish right on the beach. The hotel also clean and comfortable. But is is also located quite far to the sengigi central where all the restaurant and bars are located. It is hard to reach that place on foot, so we usually have to take a cab or other transportation.

A relaxing break from the hustle of big cities ”
This hotel is located outside of Sengigi. It take about 10 minutes by taxi to get to the central area. We spend very relaxing time at this hotel since it faces the beach and have a pool.

dirty bathroom not worth money”
messy and not not fresh breakfast, so terrible bathroom!!! no hotwater!!! though the staff ther are friendly and helpful. but to be honest it's not worth to stay there in recent year, the hotel is doing a maintainence for upgrading the star level. but the inner facility in the room is unbearable. I never had such bad bathroom before for a hotel, rusty shower head and no hot water!!!

Strange Experience ina run down hotel...”
This was a very strange experience. The main thing was that the hotel was deserted - only two other people were staying there at the same time. For a large hotel this made it feel like a bit of a ghost town! This didn't really matter though and wasn't their fault, but it felt a bit strange! The hotel is not really anything like the pictures display it to be, quite run down and the bathrooms were really quite dirty and old. Dripping taps, broken tiles, dirty shower and drains. We were right next to the pool which was great but the pool bar was closed (i suppose due to low demand). The beach is AWFUL. Dirty, rubbish everywhere, dog packs and camps of locals. This would be fine normally but the pictures do make it seem really nice which was disappointing. We didn't really mind about the location, but we did hire scooters to get around so that was ok. There is nothing in walking distance (bars restaurants). The reception girl was very helpful and organised the scooters and a tour for us. Breakfast wasn't great, very oily noodles with rougue meat (when asking for vegetarian) and undercooked pancakes/waffles. It was unlimited though and we could keep ordering whatever we wanted which was great!
