    Escaping Bangkok”

Single mum with an older and young child, live in Bangkok and wanted to escape Songkran. This place was recommended by several friends and I can see why. It’s SUPER easy to get to with a fantastic location. You don’t know you’re in Pattaya as it’s on a beautiful clean beach isolated from the city looking out to an island. The resort is stunning, a bit dated but lovely. The food at Cabbages & Condoms is fantastic but they are busy. Be prepared to wait if it’s REALLY busy. It’s not the greatest if you have a starving little toddler. I’ve visited twice now, first time in a basic room- really cheap, basic but great value. Then in a “deluxe” - it has a deep jacuzzi bath & a balcony but super dated. Better value for money in the basic to be honest. They deal with complaints quickly and REALLY well. The staff are wonderful - helpful, smiley and try their best for you. Even if you’re a stressed single mother! Thank you Birds & Bees - we will be back (again)!

This magical beachfront jungle property will change your views on Pattaya”

This is a fantastic, must-experience property. Even if you stay elsewhere by mistake, or if the budget rooms aren’t available, the beachfront cliffside restaurant is a must experience. Some people I’ve introduced this hotel are simply shocked it exists in or near Pattaya. Especially 5 minutes from Walking Street by motorbike. Infinity ocean view pool is wonderful too. If you have a bad impression of Pattaya, come spend a day or several here, and you might leave dizzy. Rooms in all price ranges.... the simple ones make it possible to enjoy feeling like a millionaire. It has one of the best breakfast buffets in Thailand too. Best mood certainly.

Paradise. This refuge will change your ideas about Pattaya forever ”

I’ve stayed here before and new guests are always shocked that this slice of tropical beach paradise and restaurant exist in Pattaya, only minutes from the noise and less savory beaches and bars of Walking Street and central Pattaya. Great infinity pool with ocean view. Best ocean and Koh Lan views from the restaurant. Best breakfast buffet... certainly best restaurant mood in the region. Don’t miss it. A jungle paradise on the cliff over a nice beach. Motorbike rentals and convenience market just outside.

    Quiet amongst the madness.”

We were recommended B&B by a friend. We absolutely loved the place. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic with a private beach area. Pattaya Beach is only a 20 min taxi ride away. The pool area is so relaxed with a nice size pool. The grounds are superb and well kept. B&B has a nice mindfulness, chilled out vibe about it and go and eat in the various terraces of the Cabbage&Condom restaurant overlooking the sea. Food is really good too, both Thai and Western. Loved Birds&Bees Resort. For a really relaxed, chilled out break for a few days stay here! Deluxe rooms 531,532 & 521 in block 5 have a lovely garden, sea view. The Tourist Agent woman outside of reception (for booking taxis, trips etc) is really friendly and competitive. We booked mini vans, through her and she helped us change our airline tickets, she speaks good English and has a good sense of humour. Thanks to all the staff for giving us a lovely break. Stay here it’s a piece of heaven.

    Lovely quirky resort”

Having previously stayed at the resort on numerous occasions 5 years ago we were disappointed how the resort was now looking a little tired and the staff whilst warm and welcoming, their service was very slow (especially in the Restaurant). We stayed in the Big Bug room which was quirky but had no view so the large room was very dark and as it has the potential to be joined to other rooms we were disturbed by others in the neighbouring rooms. The food remained wonderful and worth the very long wait. The facilities on site were great and we practically had the children's pool to ourselves. Our children loved the resort, the rabbits , jungle feel and quirky additions and it truly has a wonderful location and promoting a wonderful and important cause.

    Breakfast Buffet”

Hey there, I think this resort is lovely and is really well set up for kids. I'll definitely go back. And the food at lunch and dinner is delicious. The breakfast buffet is not. The coffee is weak to say the least. And there are a ton of meat options, but not much else. They don't really stay up on filling things back up when they are finished. And when i asked to see the menu to pay out of pocket, they didn't offer that. I asked for some Thai pork rice soup one morning and they made it for me. They have a list of things you could ask for, but they won't let you look at the list they have in front of them. And it's no service They actually told me there was a can of mosquito (and roach) spray by phone when I called the reception - which is not safe for me and my toddler who was about to go to sleep. The room was teaming with mosquito's and small spiders. Luckily, someone gave us a mosquito raquet. I don't know how many I killed before we headed to bed, but it was a lot.

Room was terrible but the resort is great!”

I booked a standard room and it was grim. Full of ants (and a millipede). Mouldy shower which smelt of sewage when the water was running, dodgy WiFi ... If you are given a room in block 2, run! But the pool is lovely, the beach is great and I loved the restaurant - even if the 17% in extra charges makes it pricier than it looks. I would recommend this resort IF you get a good room.

    A Welcome Oasis in Pattaya”

Hard to believe that when l first came to Pattaya on R&R from Ubon RTAFB in 1971, it was barely more than a fishing village with a nice beach where you could ride horses. So wholesome l could meet my parents and kid brother and sister on vacation from the States. THIS time, coming by boat from Hua Hin, thought we were approaching Manhattan. The crowd at the boat dock was crazier than Times Square. Thank goodness l chose Birds and the Bees. The restaurant overlooked a lovely beach. Our room was only a few steps from the restaurant. The food was world class. And for a place that promotes condoms and safe sex (condoms instead of after-dinner mints coming with the bill!), it was amazingly kid-friendly--a pool with slides, a trampoline, even a little Rabbit Village!

    A jewel in Pattaya”

I was familiar with Cabbage and Condoms resort and restaurant in another part of Thailand so I tried their Birds & Bees Resort in Pattaya. I was pleasantly surprise at how nice the property is and the private beach. The room were a little outdated but clean and comfortable. The view from the restaurant is fantastic and we enjoyed a nice breakfast there. I recommend this resort for anyone.

    Nice and relax. ”

It's a good place for relax and family with children. The staffs are nice and helpful. The facilities are also decent. It's lovely to have a drink at the hotel restaurant and enjoy the ocean view and sunset. Really worth it. The food is so so, but worry not, at the beginning of the soi there's a fantastic place call The Lotus Bar, excellent food.

Lovely little retreat from the hustle and bustle”

We had a lovely couple of nights at the Birds and Bees even though we were initially put into the wrong room with no bath tub, we had requested when we booked through Agoda. But it was soon rectified and we had a lovely bath tub- which was huge our little boy loved his baths. The breakfast was good but we didn't enjoy our evening meal as much on our first night, which was a shame with such a lovely setting. We often visit Pattaya living in Bangkok and would come back again.

This resort is absolutely incredible. Doesn't feel like you are in Pattaya at all. The rooms are a bit dated but the actual resort is fantastic. The infinity pool is one of the best i've seen. Even their children's pool makes it relaxing for the parents. Cabbages and Condoms is on the resort as well with a fantastic view and good food. I will definitely be coming back.

Most amazing place in Pattaya!! Everyone should stay here. MAGICAL”

You won't believe this place... no one does. IMPOSSIBLE to believe you're in Pattaya when you have to walk 100m in beautiful landscaped, jungle like gardens to get to your room or the pool. And it's sitting on a hill overlooking a wonderful, cleaner than average beach... Beautiful views! Beautiful place! Perhaps the most interesting place to stay in Thailand.

You must stay here!!! AMAZING. Pattaya's secret Garden of Eden paradise on beautiful beach!!”

I couldn't decide whether to give this hotel an 11 out of 10, or a 1. I had ONE BIG COMPLAINT (but read about that later). Overall, this is paradise. This is the one place EVERYONE must stay at least once if you go to Pattaya. There are some funny, quirky things about it which you'll discover. But overall, it's 1. the nicest pool in Pattaya 2. the nicest breakfast buffet 3. the nicest beach 4. the nicest sunset views from the pool 5. The nicest gardens and jungle I've ever seen at any hotel. 6. Fantastic restaurant and multi-level dining areas over the beach. AMAZING. You walk 100m or more, through jungles and beautifully landscaped gardens to your room. I chose a budget room (which I'm surprised they even offered) and we STILL had some ocean view. Overall, stay here and YOU can decide if the 2 major defects it has bother you too much to spend your entire stay here or not. ME? I was very upset, and finally had to leave because of the bizarrely strict rules they have about beach and pool access. It's a shame they CLOSE THE POOL BEFORE SUNSET!! So you can't enjoy the infinity pool's amazing sunset views... just at the time when you MOST want to be swimming... they kick the guests out of the pool!!! omg Even worse, would you like to take that romantic walk on the beach at sunset? SORRY. It's open to the public, but only CLOSED to hotel guests. They lock the beach access gate up BEFORE sunset, so you can't go down and enjoy the beach bars in the evening. You can't enjoy the beach at sunset or take a nice sunset swim. If you're at the hotel next door, you can. I HOPE the hotel changes their terrible policies about the beach access and pool access. I recommended they keep the pool open until 1/2 hour after sunset (at least)... this could be an all night pool, but ok... whatever). I recommended they keep the beach access gate open, at least for guests on the beach to RETURN to the hotel until 1 hour after sunset. We'll see if they make thos

Good: Nice swimming pool, children's play facilities (kid's pool, trampoline, playground, pet rabbit), nice estate with good flair, beach access, reasonable rate (standard room), good choices at breakfast. What could be improved: room could be renovated and brought to modern standard... Bacon at breakfast could be kept warm. Fresh espresso beverages could be included in breakfast. Recommend to have a vehicle (motorbike or car).

Beautiful Gardens in the Middle of Pattaya”

Birds and Bees is unique in that the gardens are beautiful and despite being in the middle of Pattaya it resembels a remote resort. The staff was polite and efficient and checking in and out was easy. The restaurant was excellent and the television and internet worked well. This is an excellent and unique place to stay in Pattaya.
