Lovely quiet&peaceful place”
Birumeno Beach Bungalow is located just in front of beach. You can enjoy beautiful ocean view and snorkeling. If you would like to just chill, Gili Meno is the greatest place of 3 Gili islands. Just be aware that it often happens a power outage, the shower will be a ocean water, have to deal with some insects in a room.

Lovely hotel at the greatest spot of meno”
We found our best relaxing and snorkeling spot. Everything was great, wished we could have stayed longer!! The bungalows are best located direct on a great whitesand beach, the room is beautiful designed and clean. The staff was very friendly and they smiled all the day, they serviced us very good. We found a small paradise on earth. Next year we are back to birumeno.

Relaxing, peaceful, genuine”
We took buses and taxis and boats to get to this place and it was totally worth it. It is the last bungalow on the south side, so it is very quiet. You can lose yourself in the view, especially early in the morning, just staring into the ocean and Volcano Rinjani in the distance. The snorkeling was great, the food on the island was great. The food at Birumeno was exceptional and the young staff members were very helpful and considerate. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I will for sure stay there again if I go back.

Great location for a quite getaway right on the beach”
Birumeno was at the end of the main strip of accommodations and restaurants. It was ideal to be at the end of the strip since you don't have many people walking by on the beach or where you are resting on the gazebos overlooking the water. Birumeno is only a 7-8 min walk from where the fast boats drop and pick up tourists so being at the end is not a problem. Food and service was also very good. The rooms are a perfect balance of rustic bungalows and high end large resort cleanliness and service. Highly recommend this place.

Peaceful getaway with great snorkling nearby”
Very relaxed stay, friendly staff and some of Gili Meno's best snorkeling just in front of the resort. The bungalows are nicely decorated, spacious and clean. There's nice pavillions under the trees on the beach where you have your breakfast / dinner with ocean view in relaxed atmosphere. Birumeno is the southernmost place on Meno's East coast, so pretty quiet but just a short walk to the restaurants and shops.

Perfect location ”
Perfect location directly at a nice beach - I loved the hammock under the trees looking on the beach! Nice bed - simple bathroom with only cold saltwater (only disadvantage we thought). Easy to walk from the harbour if you have backpacks - for suitcases rather take a donky taxi. Overall we enjoyed our stay! Diving with Gili Meno divers next door (SSI certificated dive school) was excellent and is highly recommended if you take classes or just fundive)

Birumeno is located at the South end of Gili Menos East beach. That makes it wuiet and peaceful. Some of Menos best snorkeling is just in front. At clear weather you see Mt Rinjani right from your breakfast table. Staff very relaxed and friendly.

Great location, close to snorkling point”
Our stay has been great, the hotel was located at the very corner of the island overlooking the mainland of Lombok just in front of the beach. The breakfast has been good and staffs were also attentive. Being in Gili Meno means that you slow down in life and enjoy the atmosphere there, which is precisely Birumeno is a great place to stay.

Wonderful, Relaxing, Peaceful”
My friends and I had a wonderful time at Birumeno. We stayed at the two family bungalows, which were clean and roomy. Only the room upstairs had air-conditioning. But that was fine, as we were hardly in the rooms. We spent our short but sweet stay there relaxing at the beach terraces, snorkeling, swimming and exploring the beach areas. The pizzas at the restaurant were pretty good, and the banana shakes were yummy. But do bring a pair of diving booties, as there are lots of washed up corals on the beach and in the water. A pair of strappy sports sandals would work.

I had a pleasant stay for mor than 5 days. From day to night the team of Birumeno keeps up their wholehearted service and I enjoyed relaxing at the beach very much. Bungalows are in good shape and come with nice decoration.

You pay for what you get”
While this is in no way a 4 or 5 star resort, you really do get what you pay for. We found that while our bungalow was a bit tired the location and relaxation made up for where the quality of accommodation let us down. The bungalow was serviced each day, comfy bed, aircon, but minimalistic approach to furnishings. Staff where always friendly. Relaxing in one of the cabanas each morning on the beach for breakfast - priceless! It can be a bit windy down this end of this island but that can also be welcoming in the heat. Birumeno Is located at the southern end of the island and is the last resort on the eastern side so nice and peaceful.

GiliMeno is coming back after the earthquakes we had some nice dives, massages and deep sea fishing. We explored our foodoptionson the island, but, Birumeno is among the best . Quiet and peaceful, not a party place

Amazing!!!! Best location on island!!”
This is easily the best location on the island. The beach is gorgeous and overlooks the mountains of Lombok. Just to the right, you can walk out into the water and snorkel. I'd recommend bringing some shoes to walk in, though, as the coral is plentiful and quite sharp. Eating breakfast on the beach while the children play in the sand was relaxing and amazing. The food is great, too!! Loved our stay here!!

Nice escape on the beach”
Only a 15 minute walk from the harbor. The bungalows are simple yet surprisingly roomy. The canopy bed was beautiful and listening to the waves crashing right outside the room was amazing. The patio has a nice couch to relax and read on. The restaurant has great beach huts to eat in and relax. I recommend the tofu veggie soup! The breakfast was nice- the banana pancakes were my fave. The waves are a little rough at this end of the island, and I found a great pool around ten minutes (to the right) at the Sunset House you can use for just purchasing a drink. The staff helped me with booking a snorkeling excursion where I got to swim with sea turtles! I wish I could go back right now!!

Nice and natural”
Nice private bungalows situated directly at the paradise-like beach (the better, more sandy side of the island). Unfortunately Birumeno is still under construction and it started getting noisy at around 7 in the morning. More or less cold saltwater showers and little bathroom comfort, but overall a good place to stay on the island. Enjoy the cheesy pizza!

A bungalow on the beach”
We have loved: the beach in front of the nice garden where was our bungalow, the nice spot for snorkeling just there, the calm around us, the big bed with mosquito net, having breakfast almost the "pieds dans l'eau" BUT : the bathroom was very poor... even if our room was cleaned some days, it was just wipped, but the bathroom was not cleaned for the 6 days we stayed. We payes around 50 euros per night and when we asked for an extra bed for our child, we had to pay 100000 IDR per day ! Very good place but not clean enough, too expensive during peak season... But it is the same everywhere on this Island. And birumeno is the nicest place.

Where do I start? Most love the idea of a deserted island with a shanty wooden hut smack on the beach, however do consider the sacrifices you will make for this. The little resort itself is lovely, the huts/rooms are really authentic with lots of charachter and of course clean and tidy. Gili Meno is by far the quietest island of the three. So by day expect beautiful paradise here, although by night expect eary darkness and noises from surrounding wildlife. Due to no air con and a surrounding mozzy net the huts are veey hot at night which makes it quite difficult to sleep.They can be really daunting and intimidating but definitely worth the experience. The girlfriend and I intended on booking three night here but accidentally booked two, so when we found out we had to check out and found somewhere else due to our room being booked we saw it as a blessing in disguise. In my opinion this is definitely worth the experience but don't be surprised if you soon become tired of it.

Over Priced for what you get”
I booked this room as the last stop on our get away so paying considerably more wasn't an issue but for the price we paid I'd expect a more. The snorkeling equipment wasn't usable and there were no beach towels offered or sunbeds on the beach. Everything served for breakfasted tasted boxed or "fake" including Tang for OJ, margerine for the toast and skimpy with the honey for the pancake, as well there was cheese mentioned in the omelette but we didn't see any. All this wouldn't be so bad if the staff smiled a little more and appeared happy that they liked what they were doing. I do commend them however changing our room when I mentioned the one we were given was not suitable. I would think that if all the rooms are the same price, why wouldn't they give us the choice. Especially since we booked months ago and all the rooms were not taken despite what he initially told us. The place was clean which is nice, except I wasn't so sure of the towels. The beach setting and beautiful waves more than made up for the minor imperfections.

Exceptional”
Great location to relax and unwind. Staff a bit upset. Most dont smile. No hot water in my bungalow but a minor inconvenience for me in such hot weather. I think mew bungalow a.bit rushed for service. No finishes like towel rails, toilet paper rolls or hot water. Great bed! Good aircon. Overall would go back.
