I checked in to BJs Seaside for one night this past weekend and was very impressed with the rooms - they were clean and the showers had hot water! The hosts were also wonderful in helping us with arranging transportation as well as providing recommendations on where to go in Argao. The breakfast was amazing as well. If I'm back in Cebu, I would definitely stay here again.

Friendly people, comfortable accommodations in Argao”
Joy the owner invited us to play tennis with her the first afternoon we arrived, so from then on we felt very included in Argao life! Billy, the other owner, brought us fresh puto in the morning. We weren't able to stay for breakfast, but enjoyed the brewed coffee and mangos before we headed off. Location was very central, close to the plaza. Beds and bathroom were comfortable and as expected. Felt like we were visiting long lost relatives rather than staying in an inn!

Billy & Joy were so attentive to our needs. It feels like home staying here. The only thing I'm not fond of about the place is the beach but you can always enjoy other beaches nearby. I would still rate this oasis a 10/10. You won't enjoy there as a solo traveler unless you intend to find peace of mind. The spectacular sunrise view from the roof top is a must-see. It takes about an hour to get to Obong Spring and Alcoy Beach. You must try their healthiest lemon juice and hot-served brewed coffee. Billy and Joy were the most welcoming and kind hosts! ”
Billy and Joy were so great! The food was fantastic! I ended my stay a day early because there is not much to do there for a 7 year old boy and they even refunded me that extra day! They are helpful in arranging rides for you and everything. It’s close to Oslob for whale shark swimming but a bit far from Bohol! Such great hosts!

Billy and Joy are lovely hosts, they made us feel right at home, cooked amazing home cooked meals for us over New Years. Joy brought us to the local market to get the freshest fish to make kinilau for lunch. We loved the rooftop terrace they have - beautiful for watching sunsets

I liked this place much, had a nice friendly couple running things, only down side it was like living on a farm, many rooster barking all night, dogs meowing chicken, chickening! But had a nice place for swimming just 10 minutes away!
