Really good hotel”
I must say that after I read all reviews about BK I was a little worried about take a room here. But I not regret it for 1 second. It is a really good place to stay if you want to explore Bueng kan and the nearby villages. The hotel have great facilities even if it stood wrong in the room description. It stood that it would be both shower and bathtub but it is only shower. But that is a minor issue. The BK hotel provides a good restaurant with really good Thai food and a good breakfast buffet. If there is few people’s on the hotel it is only plate breakfast. But more then 20 guests and it is buffet. Nice staff and some of them steak English really good but expect basic English from staff and in reception. I going to come back here soon again and it is definitely not my last stay at BK Place Hotel. Great value for your money.

Nice, affordable hotel”
Liked my stay here, even though the city has nothing to offer. There's a big gym you can use when you stay there, which has great equipment surprisingly. Pool wasn't open which is ok, I understand there aren't too many travelers and their themepark like swimming pool probably costs too much for the upkeep. Wifi worked well in the room for my online work and the bed was really comfortable.

Look elsewhere. We won’t be staying there again. The staff were good. The whole complex is very outdated and run down. The pool was not operational at all and there was no mention of this on the site when booking. Overpriced for what is provided.

Dusty, dirty bathroom, unusable WiFi, rude receptionists they’re look down and sneer, no air flow in room, and hot water unusable. I had 10days trip around Mekong river, this is the first terrible thing I had. I’m lucky enough that I booked only 1night otherwise it should be nightmare. One time in to much to stay at BK place.

Excellent Staff & Hotel / Huge Pool Coming Soon!”
Being at BK Place was grand. It is a new beautiful place and if you need to work or relax in a quiet suite this is the place to go. Also, the restaurant's lunch, dinner and breakfast choices were excellent, with many Thai, Vietnamese and Western selections. Very very soon there will be a large swimming pool with water slides, a beverage bar. and a fitness center. It is about 1/2k to the Mekong River where you can sit and people watch, eat sweets, drink good coffee and watch the lights across the river in Laos. Will I return? Definitely, check in was easy, the BK staff at the desk and at the restaurant are helpful and friendly. They can tell you about the sites to visit like the waterfalls during rainy season, the Lakes, the meditation Wat, Phu Tok and more. If you need a place for a small group meeting I found that easy too, and there will soon be a BK Conference Centre available for small to large groups. it is also good for touring bicyclers who want to visit nearby attractions or for those exploring the eastern Thai Mekong River Region by their own vehicle or local transportation.

New hotel but a bit out of town”
New hotel located about 1 km from Tesco Bueng Karn. There is water park next to hotel. So a little bit noisy during the day especially on holiday. Staff just acceptable. It had sport event on the day that we stayed at hotel. Fortunately we got room upgrade to suite room and had buffet breakfast (normally it is a la carte). Room and amenity is good.

THe location of the hotel was so good and located near the downtown. The room is very clean and have a nice style decoration including with an acceptable internet speed. The toilets amenities was not properly provided to the guests but comparing with the price it was OK. The set of breakfast was so good and proper for each person without any doubts. Finally, it would be a good choice whenever you need to travel to this city.

A new hotel with modern design. We liked it here but it's a fair distance from the town center along a busy road. Not really walkable. But a good place to be based if you want to visit Wat Phu Tok.

New..but lacking ”
Stay was on 4th floor near conference room. Sound travels! Walls seem to be paper thin. If you are the average traveler, you probably have a couple things to charge at night, One, and on,y one outlet is available. So if you are planning to stay here, you might want to bring a plug strip. Had two single beds. Typical Asian hard as rock and pillows weren't much better, fortunately I always travel with own pillow. Breakfast was included at buffet room across soil cold cold cold and tasteless was about all I can say. Maybe it was we arrived at 8:30, don't know, Didn't try it the second day. So what can I say good? Location ok if you have own transportation. Hotel staff friendly, with basic English. Parking a little crowded, probably due to construction of what I think is more hotel. Shower was hot and good water flow. There is another ONE place nearby that I would recommend over here. Stayed there one night but they were booked next two.

This is a good clean hotel. However, my stay was soured by a large number of guests who were talking very loudly in the lobby until 3am! I spoke to other guests and they too were unable to sleep till past 3am due to the noisy party in the lobby!! I would expect the hotel staff on duty to restrain these selfish noisy guests but no one did. This is a huge let down.

Terrible place. Bad manager. Staff just play on phone ”
Check in took 45 mins. Arrived at 12 am no one around just front desk playing on phone not interested in checking us in. It was supposed to include breakfast. Funny I stayed 3 days and never got to eat. Every time I asked for food they looked at me and just ignored me played on phone. I spoke with manager over the phone. He was even less interested in making sure our stay was ok. I talked with him about these problems and he did not care. Place was very moldy. Paint peeling dirty bathroom. A lot of bugs everywhere. New Years every hotel booked except for BK. Now I know why lol. Sleeping in a tent would have been better.
