Great value for money”
The highlight of the guesthouse is definitely it's super friendly and helpful staff. The location is quiet and a walking distance away from the main road. The guesthouse is very clean and new and the breakfast is good. Overall very recommended.

Helpful staff but questionable facilities”
Location isn't the greatest as you need to walk 10 minutes or so for food. My room lacked hot water and it was brownish in colour. Not enough bicycles and you have to pay 1500 kyat to rent them. Staff are friendly and helpful though. There are better options out there.

look for better hotels”
very bad. tiny rooms.definitely not for couples. lone traveller is okay but over priced. nothing available at hotel to ear. breakfast is only bread and omlet, nothing else. i suggest keep away and look for better option. hot water is limited. even if you get, is of no use since the tap will not mix it automatically with cold water. better luck..

Easy clean stay”
Clean. Breakfast
Easy stay as expected. However, the free bike hire according to Agoda is actually only for one day (not 24 hours). So sadly, although we checked in at 5pm and out the next day, we had to pay for one day bike ourselves.... It would have been good to know ahead... Howver, the staff are very friendly and helpful at all times.

Pleasant, simple, quiet!”
Clean, simple hotel with everything that you want. Staff were lovely and very helpful.
Quiet location at north end of town, about 5min walk to market. You will need a torch to walk back at night time - the staff will lend you one. Accommodation new, clean, and good value. Simple breakfast (toast, eggs, fruit) included, enjoyed morning views from the rooftop. Great assistance from staff to facilitate bicycle tour and boat tour around Inle lake, and bus trip back to Yangon. Thanks for a wonderful stay Blissful Inn!

Simple in the village budget hotel”
being in the village, staff
Nice being a short way from town but also staying in the village off the tourist streets... Very basic hotel... although they are still building so it may improve. Perfect if you are out all day and need a clean place to sleep.

Comfortable, modern and friendly budget hotel”
Good location, clean rooms, friendly staff
The Blissful Inn is a very pleasant budget hotel option. Its set slightly back from the main town area, along as yet unmade roads which gives it a remote, quite feel. However it is still only about 5 minutes walk from local resturants. When we checked in we were given a torch to use, as the roads around are currently unlit. The hotel is modern, clean and fresh, and the rooms are basic (bed, fan, hooks on the wall with an attached shower room) but a good standard with a clean bathroom and lots of hot water. Breakfast is severed on the roof terrace and is standard fruit, toast, eggs, coffee and tea. The staff are friendly and heplful and did their very best to make our stay comfortable despite the language barrier. We also booked our onward bus through the hotel.

Did the job”
Clean, allowed early check-in, front desk speaks English well
We arrived around 5AM on an overnight bus from Yangon, so I was very appreciative that a girl who works at the front desk came down (I think the employees all stay upstairs) and allowed us to go to our rooms without a hassle/charging an extra fee. The bathroom smelled funky our entire time there (two nights), but nothing unbearable. Do beware that roosters crow literally all night and not just at dawn, so if you're a light sleeper this place is not for you. There is no wifi here and it's near the end of town, but they rent bicycles for pretty cheap. Also, there's a limited supply of hot water for the day, so shower as soon as you get back from your excursion! Overall, there may be better value places out there, but it was fine.

Sweet little place”
Friendly staff, new facilities, roof garden
Our stay at the Blissful Inn was very pleasant. The location is a bit out of the way in a residential area, but the locals are extremely friendly and it was interesting to get a glimpse of regular life. While the staff's English skills weren't great, their attentiveness and efforts to help made up for the gap. We also found a neighborhood place run by a friendly woman who was delighted to serve us mohinga and coconut noodles in the early morning - a much better alternative to the more tourist-filled places recommended by Lonely Planet on the main road in Nwangshwe. However, there was no wifi and the laundry services were expensive - charged by the piece.

Great staff, Bargain, Central location
I loved the Inle lake area and this hotel served our needs perfectly. We stayed three nights, the owner is extremely accommodating for any kind of day trip you are interested in doing. Breakfast is simple but good. No WiFi but as I understand that should be coming soon.

Peaceful location with slices of local life”
clean, new, quiet location
Although Blissful Inn was simple, we had a pleasant stay here. Staff were helpful, friendly, and spoke good English. The room was basic but clean, and the hot water was reliable. Breakfast is mediocre, but we did get avocados one morning which was a nice treat. We really loved the location -- not far from anything in Nyuang Shwe, yet slightly removed from most of the restaurants, markets, etc, so that you're in the middle of a small neighborhood where locals live. Walking to/from the hotel you see chickens, local homes, people doing their laundry, etc. A nice slice of local life. We did have an issue with the laundry, wherein it was returned to us the same (or possible even dirtier!) than when we gave it to them, but they refunded the full cost once we pointed out the issue.

Simple, but clean rooms, wonderful staff ”
Staff, cozy breakfast at the rooftop, rural surroundings
The rooms consists of two beds, nightstands and a bathroom, but they're clean, and the staff is geniunely helpful and very nice. Their english is good too. One night we asked were we could go to get some night time snacks the staff brought us fresh fruits. It's a simple guesthouse, but I would recommend this to anyone who just needs a bed and a bathroom and spends their days out on the lake or sighseeing. Good value.
