We loved our stay at Blue Crystal. All of the staff were professional, friendly, and accommodating. It's a great place to enjoy peace and quiet. The restaurant is great, with an eclectic menu. Try eating a meal on your front porch or in the pool gardens. The landscaping and grounds are beautiful, and perfect to take vacation photos. Thanks to everyone there for taking care of us

Blue Crystal Beach Resort is Paradise”
I am still emotional and crying while writing this review. I was disappointed at first because there was no white sand, but the purest powdery white sand is not even in White Beach! It is somewhere on a piece of paradise that we went to when we rented a boat. The resort exceeded my expectations and we will surely come back to this wonderful piece of paradise when we go back to Puerto Galera. The place itself, the great view from our room, the food, and all of the friendly staff. We even met the chef! I am so happy to have booked this place. It was the best vacation and my best birthday ever and they know how to surprise their guest I cried on our first day and I cried on our last day while waving goodbye! I love this place and we are surely coming back! I already miss this place!

The resort building is a bit old but maybe during the time it was new it was beautifukl(needs remodel/tlc). THis is a place for relaxation as compared to resort near white beach or sabang beach. THe beach in front of the resort is not tailored for swimming, since its rocky and when we swim we encountered a poisonous sea snake with black & white stripes called "walo-walo" locally. We told the staff to put a sign on the side to warn about the snake since it is poisonous and other guests have seen it as well. They need to remove brown coconuts as they continue to fall and its dangerous to guests. Other that that it was a great stay, the resort staff are nice. The food was a bit pricey for local tourist maybe not for foreigners.

Relaxation at its best”
It may be boring for young people, but it is a great hotel for a quiet rest. We went there on our way back from Boracay so we could have a good rest. The staff were all kind and took care of our little shopping with a smile. The rooms are well cleaned and the toilets are clean. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms are clean, and there is even a bathtub in addition to the shower. The food in the restaurant was very good and our family was very satisfied. The Wi-Fi environment is perfect with a pocket router available for rent. We stayed in a popular villa in Boracay, but it was not good at all. It took about 20 minutes by tricycle from Puerto Galera and the fare was 200 pesos. We were undecided about our arrival time, so we did not ask for a ride, but the hotel will contact you in advance to arrange a car. In this case, the price is 500 pesos, and if you have more people, this is a better deal. It is also easier to buy a return boat ticket. We will be back to take care of you again.

Prefect Romantic Getaway”
I love Blue Crystal Resort and use it when planning a romantic getaway in Puerto Galera. I have been here 3 times now since 2016. The cove it is in is very quite and beautiful. It is visited by beginner scuba and snorkeling tours. There are a few vacation homes and some local homes, but it feel isolated. However, you are less then 10 minutes from Sabang or the town of Puerto Galera. They have upgraded their wifi since my last visit, but it is still slow and weak. This is a get-away destination, not the type of place you want to bring your gadgets, but a place to get away from them. The pool and garden grounds have always been well maintained. My only frustration is that the restaurant's menu is very inaccurate, at least during the low season.

Not the high star resort but what lacks in stars is added with location, staff, ambience, comfort. Great in house staff. Excellent food. Accommodating reception willing to help in every way. Great for swim at high tide. Rocky when it’s low. Excellent value and very much worth considering

Pros: I really liked the nature of the place, the garden and grass and serenity. Rooms were big and Aircon worked good. All rooms have a ref and bathtub which is unusual in the Philippines. Food is good and big portions. Several international selections and all chicken dishes are boneless. Staff were very nice and helpful. Cons: They charge for EVERYTHING. No free amenities for guests. Unlike other resorts we have stayed at in Puerto, pier pickup and drop off is not free, and they charged 300 to secure our boat tickets. Tamaraw and Sandbar always did this for free. Food is higher than in town, about 100 per meal higher. Pool is quite small but it was warm which was pleasant at night. Rooms are very old style. Like old Victorian or something. Also, they didn't make up our room or provide fresh towels the second day. So, there are pros and cons. But it's very relaxing there...

Highly Recommended”
We stayed in the bridal suite for our anniversary. It has a private balcony with the view of the sea plus the mountain side. The only con I can say about this resort is their location. They are a bit remote to the highway and town proper but their place has awesome views and peaceful surroundings to make up for it. It also not as hot that you can turn off your AC unit during daytime and let the sea breeze cool you. Just remember to close them around 5pm when mosquitoes start appearing. Other than that, everything is great. Staff are very accommodating and approachable. Rooms and facilities nicely maintained. We arrived and everything is spic and span. As for the beach, their area is mostly for snorkeling and diving so not much on the beach swimming part. Food is great. Very wide selection on the menu but I assure you, that their chef knows how to make whatever you will order. Pinutas is must try, just order in advance since it requires preparation of freshness of the fish.
