Amazing place ”
Real nice and quiet place a bit tucked away from the crowd at the beach. That s why you better need a car or bike. Nice Thai family running the place. Good atmosphere, loved the music, mom is a wonderful chef. Food is delicious! Worth a stop when you re traveling around, a relaxing holiday or for some good food and a wonderful view. A swimming pool would give that extra for never wanting to leave anymore!

The hotel located in a cliff hill”
Good view and cool room design. But the restaurant staff don’t understand Thai and English, they offered the incorrect order of the meal and we rejected, their attitude was not friendly at all.

Panoramic View ”

DISAPPOINTING”
The view from the balcony is amazing. But that's about it for this hotel. The bungalow is in a pretty run-down condition. The bench on the balcony is unstable and the woods are cracking. I don't know what they can do to reduce the humidity in the bathroom. It's pretty bad. The 4 nights that we stayed there, there was no house keeping (I was told later that they forgot and there was supposed to be a cleaning service every 3 days). So the sheets and the towels were never changed. We had to ask for new towels ourselves. The trash was never taken out. The whole time we were provided with 2 small bottles of water and 2 rolls of toilet paper. There are mold in the AC which you can see clearly and that was there since the first day we arrived so you can tell that the cleaning staff didn't care. Breakfast took WAY TOO LONG. We had to wait 30-40 minutes every morning for a small portion/simple breakfast even if we were the only table there.

Blue Heaven (Koh Tao) ”
This is our second vacation stay at Blue Heaven (13 nights in Master Standard Room). We opted to return back to Blue Heaven due to : 1) away from the typical tourist crowd 2) ease of access (by bike 3mins) to nearest Aw Leuk beach *best beach in our opinion* 3) family feel environment with friendly & helpful staff 4) best view of Koh Tao 5) delicious & numerous varieties of food from restaurant menu. The resort had undergone a recent change of ownership since our last stay 8 months ago. We could see vast improvements being made that enhances the comfort of our stay compared to previous , eg, entire rooftops replaced so less dusty with fewer insects, addition of air conditioning & wi-fi to the room , newer furnitures etc. We strongly recommend renting a bike due to its location. We enjoyed the entire biking experience as it provided us the flexibility & freedom to explore other parts of Koh Tao. We will not hesistate in choosing Blue Heaven again for our next trip

Amazing Food and view”
We stayed in Blue Heaven for two nights. It has the most incredible view we had seen in the whole of Thailand, and on top of that the food was the best we'd eaten in Thailand too. So much so, that we had every meal there to taste as many options as possible, and every Thai meal we had in other restaurants just didn't come close and lead to disappointment. The restaurant is beautifully decorated too. The staff were lovely and very helpful organising transportation to different beaches on the island or booking a snorkelling trip for us. The only things to be aware of: - the hotel is a bit out of the way and renting a scooter is not advisable - the roads are very steep and bumpy (dirt roads are undergoing construction to build concrete streets but still very steep) - you may encounter geckos (small or large) in your bathroom and other insects too The vibes, food and view are totally worth staying at Blue Heaven and I would come back any time!

Breathtaking view and lovely staff”
It was our first time on Koh Tao and we randomly picked out a hotel via internet a couple weeks before. We arrived a little bit early but the staff welcomed us very friendly and made the room ready as soon as possible. While we were waiting we had some great breakfast and enjoyed the view. Just like on the pictures. Even more beautiful! 20 minutes later we walked down a lot of stairs to the last bungalow. Our impression was very positive! A charming room with a fan (which was totally enough), a big balcony with an amazing view and an “outdoor“ bathroom with again, a beautiful scenerie right in front of you. We stayed for 6 nights and had a scooter the whole time. Since the location of the Blue Haven Resort is on a very steep hill and a little bit outside from the mainroad we would recommend a scooter. At the end of our stay we can really say only positive things about Blue Haven Resort! Thank you so much for the warm-hearted host, you are great! Robin and Mira

Amazing view and perfect room !”
Very nice hotel with an amazing view on the Ao Leuk bay !! The staff was very helpful and gave us free drives to the beach and to the pier as the hotel is a bit far from them. They organised our snorkeling tour and the guide came to pick us up directly at the hotel: perfect ! I would recommand for a couple of days but not for an entire week as it is a bit far from the beach and any other activities. We stayed for 2 nights and it was just PERFECT ! Only thing that we didn't appreciate: they didn't clean the room for our second night.

Nice Stay !!”
Great stay in blue heaven, even though it is a bit remote place with a poor condition that makes most taxi reluctants to bring you it is compensated largely by the very nice hotel employee very friendly and helpful. The hotel is still building some bungalows and there are still very few rooms and it is very quiet and relaxing. It is however a bit remote from beach and / or city centre, so if you are looking for rest and resource yourself off the steam it is a great place. However you have to commute by car each time.

Remote escape in paradise”
Absolutely wonderful! Very romantic as a couple. Great getaway and secluded. Location is hard to get to, but the views are worth it and that's what we were looking for. Close to Au Leuk Beach and Tanote Bay which we loved (and are more secluded beaches)

One of the best view & atmosphere hotel in Koh Tao”
We stayed this hotel for 3 nights. The location is wonderful, it is located on hill. We can see the scenic of sea and hill from the window of our room. It is fabulous ! The staffs and owner were very helpful and friendly. They can pick-up and drop-off us from/to the pier when arrival/departure with free of charge. The restaurant at hotel is great with reasonable price and terrific atmosphere. The room is acceptably clean and well furnished (but it has no TV). The weak point of this hotel is quite difficult to reach, it is on hill (10 minutes from main pier). But it is substituted by the great view.

Best spot in Koh Tao”
We loved this place!! The bungalows were really nice with a great view over the sea. They were clean and have a big terrasse. Although there was only a fan and no A/C it was convenient to sleep. The food was awesome!! Best Thai Food and every morning you get a nice breakfast. The staff is really friendly and helps you with all your needs. Their little baby girl is the sunshine of the resort. To sum up, we really recommend this place.

Perfect for a romantic escape from the crowded town”
Pictures don’t lie the view as well as the restaurant food is awesome. We ended our Thailand trip here for 3 nights, so we really wanted to chill and that was the spot for it. Beautiful and calm beach nearby 15minutes walking (you could rent a bike, but roads are steep). The family staff is really kind and picked us up at the pier but also brought us back. They gave us tons of recommendations. And if you like it, you get to meet the siamese cat, mascot of the resort. The only cons I would have is even though the shower is really nice, built on the rock, we couldn’t have hot water... We would come back !

The rooms are small and cozy and the views are just breathtaking. The restaurant is famous for the food in the whole island so make sure to grab some Thai food / sea food. The view of the rooftop restaurant are amazing....

Attention - hotel changed location!”
Attention - hotel changed location last year and is no longer at Shark Bay!! It is now located on the east coast and difficult to reach due to bad road conditions. Furthermore it has no access to the beach as it is a bit higher up in the mountains - with a beautiful view over the bay though.
