Great location, Central and safe.
Blue Lime Hotel was in an excellent spot, close to the river, behind the museum. The hotel is actually off the main road down a side street, so security is good, and noise is reduced. The fare from the airport to hotel is a standard US$12 for a taxi, or US$9 for a Tuk Tuk. We bought a sim card from the airport booth for US$5 for about 4 Gig of data to acess the internet (she has to have Face Book). In truth you could probbly not bother with a sim, as every established restaurant and hotel has free WiFi. At Blue Lime we were greeted with cold towels and a cool drink, while we waited to check in. They didn’t let us in the room any earlier than regular check in, as the room hadn’t been cleaned. We chose for a bit of luxury, getting a room with it’s own private pool. This is excellent as you can get in the room, strip right off, and jump right in. I was expecting a tiny dip pool 6 feet square. However this pool was about 6 metres by 4 metres, plenty big enough to float about in. The pool rooms (there are only 4) were great, large bed, capable air conditioner, and a ceiling fan which on full blast would stop you being able to stand up. Shower and bathroom was good with all the usual stuff you expect. The shower was large with plenty of hot water. We checked out a non pool room in the same building, and it was just as large. Reception was helpful with maps and information, but was not 24 hours. It closed at 10pm and the doors were closed at 11pm. After that you had to climb over the wall (I’m kidding). The main pool was large and beautiful. Some of the seats around it were like 4 poster beds. The food was good in the restaurant, at not too much an excessive tourist price. Breakfast was also fresh, well cooked, and more than enough for us. If you are checking out really early, you can ask for a take away breakfast. Outside the hotel are Tuk Tuk drivers with Blue Lime shirts on. Naturally they are the preferred ones as they have a reputation to maintain. On the back of the

the room is big with a private pool. the drawback of this hotel is the sound proof. you can hear it very clearly every time other hotel guests opening and shutting their doors.

Centrally located boutique hotel
My boyfriend and I stayed at Blue Lime for 5 nights while we were in Phnom Penh. The hotel has a great location right next to the palace and the national museum and has lots of great restaurants near by. We stayed in one of the rooms that has its own private pools which was quite nice. The only downside of the pool was it was a bit cool as it's not really in the sun, however you could always go to the big main pool if you wanted. The staff was nice and I really loved the breakfast. The bread and pastries were awesome. I would definitely recommend people to stay here!

Relatively cheap. A little far from everything but is OK. Dirty room with cockroaches. Breakfast and pool area was good but the cleanliness was a let down. Also the bathroom flooded everyday
