worn out bathroom with algae, unclean mosquito net”
we stayed at the pavillion 2 days earlier and move up the road to this place. although both rooms have a private pool, but this hotel is surrounded by tall buldings, the seating area by the pool is small. the things looked dated but with some nice decorations. have much to improve to reach up to par of Pavillion.
Luxurious for the money...”
I only stayed two nights, but very nice hotel for the money. the pool area, very nice, clean water. Almost the entire pool area is set in a nice tropical tree-covered environment. semi-private cabanas with comfy lounges for you and your partner to relax in. hotel staff always friendly. we stayed in room with private pool, which rekindled intimate fun as you open your room's door and can dive in au natural and the bed is a dreamy huge comfy matress with silky netting drapped around it. Rent one of these rooms for the fun of it! Ray-USA
Racist property that denied my partner’s entry”
I will never be staying at this hotel again. My Sierra Leonean boyfriend was denied entry into the hotel and asked for ID. I didn’t make a fuss on the night it happened because I thought it was policy, even though it was my room and he was a guest to my room. Then the following evening I came in with my white friend and she was treated like a guest. She was offered the breakfast and came to my room and NO ONE asked for her ID. No one even mentioned that it was needed and I asked if they needed it and they said no. I have never been so humiliated in my life. To have a hotel be so blatantly disrespectful, when my boyfriend did nothing but want to visit me. This is has been the worst experience and made a romantic weekend a terrible experience.
My partner was embarrassed twice when we returned to the hotel after dining by security wanting to see her ID card assuming she was a sex worker. Facilities don’t live up to the photos on the website. If you have a bad back the beds at the hotel won’t help it. If you’re arriving by taxi they will not take you up the lane to the hotel, you’ll have to struggle with you bags for about 100 metres
Quiet oasis in the middle of a busy city”
After a taxing three months in a new role, the hotel was the perfect place to unwind and relax. Located near the Royal Palace and walking distance of Streets 178 and 240, the hotel is both central and quiet. I loved the pool area, and the calmness of the property. My thank you to Grace and her staff for being so kind and welcoming.
Amazing one night stay in the "private pool"room. The room was very cozy and quiet and the bed, very comfortable. The private pool is rather small but big enough to spent some relaxing time. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection is a bit limited and I was surprised to find no toiletries in our room...
Well worth a longer stay”
First, Cambodia, mainly Phnom Penh has a hydro crisis with rolling blackouts up to 5 hours a day. If it’s 85% humidity and 95 degrees, you better enjoy swimming in their lovely pool. Everything else made it an outstanding value.three blocks to the n National Museum, which is why we visited before Siem Reap. Best food for me was an extraordinary Tom Kum Ka. I have many but this was rich, flaourful, not too spicy and an introduction to Kombode Peppers. Now an addiction...but they are really hot if you chew them green and fresh.
Very Disappointed with Power Outages”
Very charming property with unique decor, serene environment, and shady poolside. However, the frequent power outages (which I was told by the staff was a common city issue), was unfortunately a nuisance during my stay. Let me be clear that the staff was gracious and apologetic. However, since the amount of times it happened and the length of the outages (2-6:45pm, 8:30a-12pm) I would wish a kind gesture would've been offered. Providing candles at the desk, offering refreshments and snacks in the lobby, or having the staff available in the lobby to offer any assistance. I would stay here again. Just some thoughtful ideas should you find it valuable.
Awesome place for short holiday”
Very well decorated, clean and nice environment. Food also very tasty. We tried pizza at the poolside cafe which we liked a lot. Seating arrangement is very romantic, specially at the nighttime. I recommends for couple.
Nice Little Hotel”
Compared to its next door neighbour not as great, but still a lovely, quaint hotel. Staff were really friendly, they had security that closed the gate after midnight and had to show your room key to get in. The only issue I would say is that they need to re tile the bathroom as it was a bit too dark and gloomy for my taste, but taste is subjective. I loved the pool, so nice to chill around after a day of exploring.
Blue Lime Hotel”
Lovely Boutique hotel, stayed in a standard room and also private pool room. Great breakfast and a beautiful pool area. The only downside was the renovations/noise from the neighbouring hotel that woke me up each morning.
A hidden joy in Phnom Penh”
We really have a good time at the Blue Lime Hotel in Phnom Penh, very good location downtown and closed by restaurants and small stores. Staffs are very professional and friendly. A nice small boutique hotel. The only problem for the time being, a construction next door could be noisy. Blue Lime Hotel try to minimize the trouble.
Lovely Hotel in Excellent Location”
Loved my room with its own small pool, such a treat to come back to each afternoon. Big pool area is very nice too with lots of cabanas and loungers. Breakfast by the pool was lovely. I really liked that this is an adults only hotel, made for a calm, peaceful environment. Best of all was the location, you can easily walk to the Museum, Palace and Riverfront . Anywhere further - markets, Genocide Museum, Killing Fields Memorial etc are all easily accessible by tuktuk. There are lots of tuktuks right outside, just negotiate an acceptable price first (ask at reception if you're not sure).
Blue Lime provided us with a clean, well designed room. Friendly and efficient staff, and perfect location for our purpose. That's all we needed, so we know where to stay next time we go to Phnom Penh.
This is an amazing hotel. I was in PP for three nights on business, but as it was my first visit there, I was looking for something 'more' than an ordinary hotel experience. I splurged on one of the eight rooms with a private pool(!). The room was big, well appointed. Very comfortable bed. It was also on the ground floor, which is worth noting as there is no elevator. Guests with heavy bags were ably assisted by the eager bell staff - who acted as sherpas, carrying suitcases on their shoulders, as they climbed to the fourth floor. The lobby is very comfortable, and the common pool area very delightful. The morning breakfast service was superb - with custom cooked egg and pancake (with honey) offerings. The hotel has it's own tuktuk drivers, wearing hotel uniforms. I used them frequently. And they would arrange to return at an appointed hour to pick me up. The hotel is in the middle of a block, accessed from a narrow alley, so be sure to have a printed map or GPS to show the taxi bringing you from the airport. Many things are within walking distance, and everything is within 'tuktuk distance'. Staying here was the highlight of my most recent SEA business trip. And I will choose Blue Lime again when I return.
Wonderful Option in PP”
Blue Lime was clean, spacious, and well located. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety. Hanging out by the pool is like being in a calm little Oasis right in the middle of bustling PP. I will gladly stay at Blue Lime the next time I am in PP.
Little blue gem”
We had a great stay at Blue Lime Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room is large and comfortable with nice decoration though the bathroom needs better lighting. The pool area (where breakfast is served) is a great plus after long and hot day in Phnom Penh. Note that the hotel does not have an elevator so the top floor is quite a good climb!
Centrally located walking distance to all of the activity on the river front and to the Royal Palace, Blue Lime was a great place to stay. The hotel is beautiful with a lovely pool complete with cabanas and well appointed rooms. Delicious breakfast was served made to order, poolside. The staff was friendly and helpful in booking transportation to the Killing Fields and the airport.
Very nice room that feels like an apartment, great location”
The room was very nice and spacious and felt like an apartment building rather than a hotel. Right size for a hotel, great location. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. The swimming pool area is also very enjoyable, but I preferred the sun beds to the little huts. I was in the upper floor and some used towels were left there the whole night one day, on the flower, next to a flower pot. Fresh spring rolls in the restaurant were not terrific. The 33 USD taxi visit to the Killing Fields arranged by the hotel seemed too overpriced.
Very attentive staff!”
Hotel facilities are what you see in their website. We booked the room with private pool. The only concern is that the aircon in our room (20) is not very cold. Though they have ceiling fan to compensate, i think their aircon needs chemical cleaning. The day of our departure, we have a early bus ride 745 bound for Siem Reap since we dont have time to eat our breakfast, the staff packed our food. Fried rice and they even give us water bottles and bananas :) overall experiencie is 4 out of 5. Hotel location abit far from night market. The massage (glee spa) just in the corner of the hotel is great.
