Our room was just off reception, it was clean and the bed was large and comfortable. When you looked in detail the light fittings needed a good clean and the room needed updating. Breakfast was a good standard and yes we would stay here again, but it may not be our first choice.
They were good about suggesting things to do and were also very helpful when I needed to find a pharmacy, so we had good experiences with the staff. The breakfast was pretty good as well. I liked that it wasn't a buffet but made fresh. The fruit smoothies/fruit plate was wonderful. The pool really is nice and it is located in a good area that is close to a lot of stuff. There wasn't a way to ask housekeeping to change the sheets and towels when they made up the room, which was a bit odd. We tried leaving them on the floor but they just picked them up and put them back on the bed.
Excellent hotel with amazing staff”
Beautiful hotel with an excellent ambiance. Hotel staff are amazing,so friendly and helpful. Amazing breakfast with fresh fruits, croissants and choice of pancakes, eggs and bacon etc. Definately worth a visit.
Big rooms with best breakfast in Cambodia”
We stayed at both the "private pool villa" and a "deluxe room with balcony". Both were very spacious with big double bed with mosquito net, AC and a fan, fridge and sockets on both sides of the bed. The bathroom was clean with soap and towels. The rooms looked fresh but for the price I would expect maybe even a bit more. A nice plus is the swimming pool area with nice sunbeds that you can chill on. The breakfast is really good they served fresh food and croissant and fresh baguette, passion fruit juice, tea and coffee and unlimited choice of eggs, musli, pancake, fried rice, bacon on demand. Even though it's very nice, it's still a bit pricy, but would definitely come back if budget allows.
Awesome place for short holiday”
Very well decorated, clean and nice environment. Food also very tasty. We tried pizza at the poolside cafe which we liked a lot. Seating arrangement is very romantic, specially at the nighttime. I recommends for couple.
Nice Little Hotel”
Compared to its next door neighbour not as great, but still a lovely, quaint hotel. Staff were really friendly, they had security that closed the gate after midnight and had to show your room key to get in. The only issue I would say is that they need to re tile the bathroom as it was a bit too dark and gloomy for my taste, but taste is subjective. I loved the pool, so nice to chill around after a day of exploring.
Blue Lime Hotel”
Lovely Boutique hotel, stayed in a standard room and also private pool room. Great breakfast and a beautiful pool area. The only downside was the renovations/noise from the neighbouring hotel that woke me up each morning.
A hidden joy in Phnom Penh”
We really have a good time at the Blue Lime Hotel in Phnom Penh, very good location downtown and closed by restaurants and small stores. Staffs are very professional and friendly. A nice small boutique hotel. The only problem for the time being, a construction next door could be noisy. Blue Lime Hotel try to minimize the trouble.
Lovely Hotel in Excellent Location”
Loved my room with its own small pool, such a treat to come back to each afternoon. Big pool area is very nice too with lots of cabanas and loungers. Breakfast by the pool was lovely. I really liked that this is an adults only hotel, made for a calm, peaceful environment. Best of all was the location, you can easily walk to the Museum, Palace and Riverfront . Anywhere further - markets, Genocide Museum, Killing Fields Memorial etc are all easily accessible by tuktuk. There are lots of tuktuks right outside, just negotiate an acceptable price first (ask at reception if you're not sure).
Wonderful option for a mid range hotel in PP. staff was great, pool area is very thoughtfully arranged, and the cocktails wonderful! When we went the pool had a murky quality to it and some white floaties which is my only (very minor) complaint. Will come back!
Absolutely perfect oasis in Phnom Penh”
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is travelling to Phnom Penh. It was a total oasis away from the hot and busy streets, and perfectly located for pretty much all the main tourist destinations, as well as the beautiful riverside. The staff were absolutely fantastic and the welcome was lovely. The room was peaceful and comfortable, and the bathroom was great. The pool area has WiFi and the food is delicious and varied, and good value. Breakfast was included in my stay and it was genuinely lovely - varied, with fruit and eggs and juice and pastries. The restaurant menu was delicious, lots of snack options and lunch and dinner - Khmer food as well as Western treats. So reliable to know that the hotel has good food when you just want to chill and not go out. Helpful reception staff, laundry, taxis etc I stayed here for only 3 nights but I could easily have stayed for far longer - especially at the good price. I was sad to leave and would be happy to go back!
Central location, good ambience and friendly staff
Love love love this place! ”
Love everything about this place- the food (including a great breakfast), the pool, the location, the staff, the price, the bed. There are a lot of mosquitos by the pool and in room so be sure to bring bug spray. Would absolutely recommend and plan to stay here again in the future. The company that runs Blur Lime, Maads, has the best properties in Cambodia. I prefer this brand to any others! Never had a bad experience.
Blue Lime provided us with a clean, well designed room. Friendly and efficient staff, and perfect location for our purpose. That's all we needed, so we know where to stay next time we go to Phnom Penh.
Beautiful Hotel in great location”
Its like stepping into an oasis, beautiful peaceful Foyer leadin into a beautiful outdoor restaurant and pool. Rooms and bathrooms are big and the staff are lovely. Don't miss the deep fried spring rolls - best I have ever tasted. Cocktails are great. The nuts that come out with the drinks are lovely. have a drink here just for them. Would definitely stay again.
This is an amazing hotel. I was in PP for three nights on business, but as it was my first visit there, I was looking for something 'more' than an ordinary hotel experience. I splurged on one of the eight rooms with a private pool(!). The room was big, well appointed. Very comfortable bed. It was also on the ground floor, which is worth noting as there is no elevator. Guests with heavy bags were ably assisted by the eager bell staff - who acted as sherpas, carrying suitcases on their shoulders, as they climbed to the fourth floor. The lobby is very comfortable, and the common pool area very delightful. The morning breakfast service was superb - with custom cooked egg and pancake (with honey) offerings. The hotel has it's own tuktuk drivers, wearing hotel uniforms. I used them frequently. And they would arrange to return at an appointed hour to pick me up. The hotel is in the middle of a block, accessed from a narrow alley, so be sure to have a printed map or GPS to show the taxi bringing you from the airport. Many things are within walking distance, and everything is within 'tuktuk distance'. Staying here was the highlight of my most recent SEA business trip. And I will choose Blue Lime again when I return.
Wonderful Option in PP”
Blue Lime was clean, spacious, and well located. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety. Hanging out by the pool is like being in a calm little Oasis right in the middle of bustling PP. I will gladly stay at Blue Lime the next time I am in PP.
Little blue gem”
We had a great stay at Blue Lime Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room is large and comfortable with nice decoration though the bathroom needs better lighting. The pool area (where breakfast is served) is a great plus after long and hot day in Phnom Penh. Note that the hotel does not have an elevator so the top floor is quite a good climb!
Very nice room that feels like an apartment, great location”
The room was very nice and spacious and felt like an apartment building rather than a hotel. Right size for a hotel, great location. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. The swimming pool area is also very enjoyable, but I preferred the sun beds to the little huts. I was in the upper floor and some used towels were left there the whole night one day, on the flower, next to a flower pot. Fresh spring rolls in the restaurant were not terrific. The 33 USD taxi visit to the Killing Fields arranged by the hotel seemed too overpriced.
Very attentive staff!”
Hotel facilities are what you see in their website. We booked the room with private pool. The only concern is that the aircon in our room (20) is not very cold. Though they have ceiling fan to compensate, i think their aircon needs chemical cleaning. The day of our departure, we have a early bus ride 745 bound for Siem Reap since we dont have time to eat our breakfast, the staff packed our food. Fried rice and they even give us water bottles and bananas :) overall experiencie is 4 out of 5. Hotel location abit far from night market. The massage (glee spa) just in the corner of the hotel is great.
