Exceptional”
The staff were so nice and accommodated my needs. The room was basic but had everything I needed. New air con, comfortable bed and clean room. Beautiful pool that lights up with colour in the evening. I would definately stay here again. Thank you to the lovely staff.☺

I have known about this motel for some time and an opportunity to visit some relatives proved ideal - clean and comfortable bed, close to eating areas and easy access. A quiet area to overnight and continue our journey. Dated but far from unacceptable.

Nice long weekend away with the family ”
Pros would be that the Kids loved the big pool which always stayed at a nice temp. Fishing and beaches so close and the rsl has beautiful meals decently priced. Wouldn’t stay more than a couple of days due to no kitchen but other than that I was pretty pleased. Cons were that they had Very outdated rooms and bathrooms were dirty. Holes in the walls. Hospitality from the reception was great. Would strongly suggest repairs and updates

Great pool with toys and air mattresses. No spa/sauna. Very dated and scungy, but clean enough. Good shower pressure. BEWARE THE SAND FLIES. Packed the car for 10 minutes and had bites covering my legs.

I would recommend to a friend, however there are concerns. It's cheap, the pool is clean and inviting, good location a pleasant walk across the bridge to Swansee and clubs. In dire need of a makeover and upgrade. Grass overgrown, gardens unkept. Paint coming off walls in places. No dining. No bar. I remember the place in the mid sixties; nothing has changed.

This hotel is very basic - do not expect any bells and whistles. The room was old, needing paint and refurbishment, with minimal light. The location is great, so that's your trade-off.

Weekend away”
On arrival they couldn't find our booking at first then couldn't find room key. Reception smelt of overuse of bleach. The pool was nice but place advertised as having resteraunt and bar which we were told not working till after Christmas. It looked like it has been abandoned for years. Also advertised as having outdoor spa and steam room, neither were working . Room was average to say the least. The place has so much potential but just seems nobody cares about it. The gardens were unkept as well. Was a bit disappointing

The bare essentials”
Our room had 2mugs, 2glasses , tea, coffee & milk. There were no teaspoons! There were4 coat hooks,but no wardrobe or bedside tables. A very run down motel, with no staff in sight.

Old, dilapidated and went downhill from there! Carpet is filthy, skirting board is falling off the wall. Outside area is terrible with weeds and cracked paths. Building needs to be demolished. Won't be back! Only positives are that it is quiet, plenty of hot water and no bedbugs!!

Convenience location across the highway to beach”
Rooms were very basic, no cupboards or drawers, OK for me as I was attending the State Surf lifesaving carnival at Blacksmiths beach, only used the room for sleeping as was at the beach from 7am-6pm. Pool was good, no other facilities, got what I wanted for the price I paid.

Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. Furnishings were old and in a very shabby state. Over-priced and one of the worst motels we have ever experienced.
