Very pleased with everything and would stay again. Host was warm and welcoming. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. It's a good base from which to explore the Sun Moon Lake area as it's just near where the bus stops from Taichung so can leave bags and explore. As other reviewers have mentioned, rooms with partial view over lake mainly look over a huge car park so if you want to enjoy the lake from the room or balcony, it might not be the best choice. However, since outdoor activities were the main draw this wasn't too important for us and so didn't see it as a drawback.

This is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. 10/10!! Pros - location is very close to the bus stop to Alishan and also close to one of the ports at the lake - room is huge, clean and very well designed - great breakfast, made fresh, all you can eat - The front desk lady is very very nice and got discounted boat tickets for sale. Don’t buy from street vendors, buy from her instead! Cons - N/A

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The lady owner was a gracious, kind and helpful. The room was lovely - with modern designs, clean and well-appointed. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly generous and the food was of a high standard - better than some of the restaurants in town. We were very happy with our stay and hope to return soon.

Excellent hospitality and stay”
The owner of B&B is very hospitable throughout our stay. Room is spacious and have all the amenities we need. Bed is big and comfortable, we had a good night sleep. Breakfast is freshly made and have a great variety, we like the sweet potato porridge, soy milk and some western pastries. Everything about this B&B is great, we will definitely be back again if we visit Sun Moon Lake in future.

We absolutely looooved our stay at the Blue Sky Bay B&B. The hotel's smartly furnished and designed with high quality interior. We experienced the best shower in Taiwan here. (all the kids voted Blue Bay B&B with the best shower head and water pressure). the staff were professional and so very friendly. We absolutely love Sun Moon Lake, what a beautiful place. We will certainly be staying at the Blue Sky Bay B&B again. The rate is reasonable, and it is close to all amenities. Highly recommended this place to anyone who is visiting Sun Moon Lake.

Small hotel but full of impression”
-The hotel is next to visitor center that you get off Taichung bus (1 min walk) And close to pier, souvenior shop, convenience store, restuarant. - Room is very large and clean with a nice and simple design -- like in promote pic(they have ikea shark on bed 😍) - They serve simple, fresh, and delicious breakfast. - The staffs are very attentive and helpful.

I went along with a friend and requested that I would pay extra for a bed. However, arriving at the B&B, i was told that since they had an extra room with two beds, they would place us in that room. It was one of the best stay of our Taiwan trip. Food was delicious and always, ALWAYS buy any tickets from the B&B as it is way cheaper than purchasing it from the taxi or anywhere else! Location was really nice and had the best recommendations for food. Definitely will be back.

Rooms are clean and modern. Hosts are lovely and good spread for breakfast. 3 min walk to bus terminal which has buses to cingjing farm (only runs when not raining) and xitou monster village and nature park- must visit places during your stay.

This is one the best B&B that we have stayed in so far. Lady host is extremely friendly and the breakfast served is delicious! Room is big and comes with a tub. There is a bicycle rental shop beside the B&B and you can get discount for renting their bikes. Excellent choice of accomodation to stay in Sun Moon Lake

A real beautiful accommodation with 5 star hotel quality but at the price of a homestay. Very nice and accommodating owner who gave us free extra bed when she knew that we had a kid with us. Room is very nicely made up, super clean with good quality basic necessities like shampoo, shower foam This is the best stay we had among all our days in Taiwan
