Good Hotel in a entertaining area...”
Staff, Location and the room
A great little hotel in a good location for entertainment in soi 51 as well as being within walking distance to the main market and shopping areas. All tours pick up at door and can be arranged by the hotel staff.

Comfortable at a Reasonable Price”
Staff, Breakfast, Location
This was my second stay at The Blue Tongue, so clearly I was satisfied the first time. Although it could do with a decorative makeover, the hotel is clean and comfortable. A special mention for the staff who were very pleasant and helpful. Location is central in a lively area, but in a quiet street just off 51. Breakfasts were nice to wake up to.

Strategic Location”
Good location, affordability, good paid breakfast
That is a pleasant, good located place mostly for business or solo travelers from my point. Staff is friendly and helpful, situated just opposite Soriya Mall and close to Pantoon night club. Also not far from riverside - five minutes by took took, central market (Psar Tmey) is 5-7 minutes walk.

Well located, excellent staff”
Staff, location, comfort
I enjoyed my stay there. I have to say that the best part was the staff. The filapina manager was very helpful and answered many of my questions. I also liked the location. It was centrally located and close to many tourist destinations. There was no problem with noise. As far as the room goes, the bed was comfortable. I especially like the black tile they used in the bathroom. Very nice and elegant. The restaurant was adequate. Not too pricey, not cheap and wasn't fine dining but it was sufficient if you were too lazy to go out and wanted something to eat fast. I do wish they had in room safes, but safe boxes are available in the lobby.

Not bad just a few minor things”
Its clean. The location. The service
Over all very happy with my stay. Very clean hotel and rooms, nice large rooms and excellent service from the always smiling staff. If I am to point out a few negative things it would be: No safe in rooms. No telephone in rooms. A bit hard madrases, and there is some noise at night from the infamous "Walk about bar" next door, but that being said..I will stay here again when I return to Cambodia.

This hotel is centrally located to most things. tuk tuks are easy to catch outside the door, but just watch the pricing. Plenty of bars and restaurants around. Walking distance to a couple of the attractions.

Good value, clean and modern hotel”
recently decorated, everything is new
I stayed at this hotel for one day and would certainly stay again. For the price you really can not fault this hotel, the room in a decent size, everything was clean and new. The decoration and furniture was also of a reasonable standard considering it was only 30 USD a night. The manager and staff were friendly and well trained, breakfast was also good value, and the location is good. most things you might want to visit are just 10 minutes walk away. Don't bother paying 6 USD for a room upgrade, its exactly the same room but with a bigger window and the view is not great. You can get hotels that are 10 USD cheaper but in my opinion this hotel is certainly worth the extra 10 USD.

Good hotel, helpful staff”
Clean, all mod cons, good location
the rooms are spacious and clean, with tv, air con and hot water. the hotel itself is technically located in the 'red light' district...but this is really hardly noticeable and not a problem at all. the staff are really helpful and the breakfast at 50% off for guests is really good value. i would recommend it and stay there again.

Modern spacious room
Great value for money. Stayed in deluxe balcony room which was great. Shower was great in the afternoon but cold at 6:30 in the morning. I guess because it is solar but should have back up system. The only fault I could find. Will definately stay again unless I have an early departure again! Didn't eat in house.

Great Bed, hot water with great pressure, clean and confortable
I've tried other places in Phnom Phen, but I keep coming back here. It's a great value. The area can be a little noisy, but it's never bothered me. The staff is really great, and I've never had any problems.

Excellent hotel”
Friendly, clean, stylish, good location
I have stayed in many hotels in Phnom Penh, and consider this hotel to be the best value for money. All the staff were pleasant and friendly and helpful,, and the rooms are of good quality for a very reasonable price. The main drawback is the lack of any large windows, except in the deluxe balcony rooms, and safety boxes in rooms would be a good additional feature.

Good value for money”
Very close to the main street action
The hotel is great value for the money however the downside for me is that the safe box is at the front desk and not in the room. Therefore you have to disturb the staff every time you want to have access to your safe box. But the staff are extremely friendly and it didn't seem to bother them at all. You are two steps away from the main street action which makes it very convenient. The hotel and rooms are very clean.

Comfortable beds, clean toilet, great location
our experience with the blue tongue hotel was pleasant and easy. i emailed the hotel and within 30 minutes i got an email from them! the paid taxi service from the airport was good, beds were comfortable, toilet/shower was clean, near the royak palace/museum etc (though you'd have to have good sense of direction or you'd get lost in phnom penh). the staff helped us out with bus service to siem reap, and overall we really enjoyed the stay, recommended!

The hotel isn’t too big, but is very new and clean. The staff are helpful, professional and friendly. I like the room design and also the bathroom, clean and comfortable to stay. Due to the hotel is not too big, the staff can really taking care your requirement very well, such as what time you want to serve your breakfast etc.

The staff in this hotel are genuinely nice
this is a reasonably priced hotel in centre of phnom penh. the filipino and cambodian staff make a great team who took care of us really well. it's a basic hotel with air con, hot water, clean, comfortable bed, cable tv and fridge. breakfast was ok, maybe could choose two options instead of one. location is central, although a few seedy bars nearby.

Very Nice and Clean Hotel in Centre Location”
No Swimming Pool
it's a nice and clean hotel in centre of pp. very near to riverside and night market (only weekend). big bathroom, clean wooden flooring, and a brand new aircon. very comfy bed and pillow and a flatscreen tv provided with many international channels. breakfast has very limited choice but decent portion. highly recommend their omelette on toast, and mashed potato on toast which is absolutely filling with great taste. the only downside is they do not provide kettle or mini bar service. only a empty mini fridge provided in the room.
