Staff was not informative at checkin. I stayed for 3 days at room 804 for 2 days and room 821 for 1 day. The phone did not work in room 804 for the duration of my stay even though I reported it a few times. There was no iron and ironing board provided or mentioned anywhere hence it was a charge of R12 per item to iron. There are no tissues in the room for the personal touch. I found out on the third night that the Wifi works with a voucher which was not given to me or mentioned at check in. The power went off for an hour on the second night and the generator did not work as according to staff, it was being maintained. This was inconvenient and with the phone not working, it was worse. The stairs had to be used to go up to the room on the 8th floor. The aircon did not work properly either. The shower in the bathroom was inconvenient as the soap dish is situated in a place where I bumped my forehead and this left a lump. This was for room 804. Room 821 also had some issues.

Parking is charged at R85.00 p/d and it is quite small, this is in addition to the room rates. Too expensive according to me.

Hotel is on the beach front excellent situation Monique front desk manager was Extremely helpful to us as we had several issues mainly because of lack of floor carpets people dragging furniture around at all hours of the day and night and also house keeping and had very little regards for clients
