My kids loved it!!!”
The kids enjoyed the resort because of the large room (family loft), and the various exciting activities which came FREE with the room rate (biking, kayaking, and stand up paddle boarding). The pool was large enough and it was heated, which was a plus for night swimming. Breakfast buffet had limited choices but the stomach could take in only so much food so it was still ok. The P700 breakfast buffet fee for additional guest is expensive but this seems to be the norm for resorts of this class. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the resort.
Staff are so friendly and helpful..good value for money”
We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel with the very friendly staff ready to assist always the needs of the guests. The hotel is quite and not crowded, it is so private. Pools are clean..bathroom is big with big tub.
Very nice place for relaxing. ”
Arrived at 7pm+, tired and hungry but the lady at the receptionist friendly services make me feel very welcome. She went through the things Ard the resort and check if I have any more questions. The next day when we were waiting for our checkout she approached us and ask if we need some iced water, it was perfect small gesture. :) The spa was at a high side but it was very good.
If you want to have a privacy in bohol. This is recomended. The staff is amazing. Beach is not that good because its a marine sanctuary but you can swim in the pool instead. Kinda far from alona beach.
Manage Expectations: Beach front is relative”
There is a beach but it is not for leisurely swimming as it is part of a marine sanctuary. This is more for snorkeling and diving. With this in mind, Bluewater is more on the quiet side and a bit away from the action on Alona Beach. This is a good thing as it is nice to come home to a quiet retreat after the busy-ness on Alona and its restaurant/bar scene. The pool is nice and sunbathed. The rooms are clean and well-appointed. The staff could use a bit more attention to detail but generally our interactions with them were very pleasant. It was a nice vacation.
We stay just one night with villa type, there are total 4 villas in bluewater resort, very quiet and away from crowded people here. Profession and nice stuffs, an accident happens during our stay. Injure by the
This was the perfect resort experience for us, and it has exceeded our expectations. We have tired away from the hustle and bustle of most resorts and beaches and we were looking for something more serene and relaxing. The resort was only a few minutes away from the Alona beach strip, and we always looked forward to returning back after each day at the beach or sightseeing. The food was fantastic, and the waiters are corteous. We found that the room service was relatively quicker than the restaurant service. The staff and the resident manager were very accomodating, hospitable and professional. They will make your stay as pleasant as possible. On our fourth night we upgraded from the Premiere Deluxe room to the Honeymoon Pool Villa, which was secluded and intimate while still very accessible. We did an ocular visit around the Alona and Danao area at some of the top resorts and we found that nothing compares to the rooms and villas at Bluewater. Our family is planning to come back and stay at the Villas/deluxe rooms at our next visit to Bohol.
Feel Young in Panglao”
I like the beach area where you can relax, I like also the pool, the wide pool and my kids enjoyed so much... I like to be back again with my family... The staff are friendly and easy to mingle. The hotel is best for me. the food they served are great. We really enjoyed the place
A very lovely place to stay in bohol away from all the noise and busy areas but at the same time very accesible and near to bohol's finest attraction. Superb service. Great food. Awesome view.
Lovely hotel and service with a smile”
The beach resort had wonderful landscaping. The pool looked beautiful at night. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Only thing that could have made this beach resort better was if they had a beach front. Aside from that, I'd recommend it and go back again!
Wonderful Hotel and service with a smile”
I stayed for 2 nights. The room was nice and clean. I liked the bathroom which has shower and bath tub. Only the bed was a bit too soft to me. The garden, swimming pool and the beach were really beautiful. I liked sun bathing beside the beach.
Warm smile and lovely hotel”
Salad provide in breakfast would be better. It was a lovely place to stay, nice environment and clean. Love the bathroom most. It was gorgeous! Also, we're welcomed with a warm smiles and services, everyone provide the best service from their heart.I will stay there again and recommend to my friends for sure.
Very nice hotel but no beachfront”
service at the dining area can still be improved. service is quite slow. there were 2 big pools but no beach front. we tried to go on low tide, but the beach was full of sea grass. you should wear aqua socks. reception even forgot to give back my id and didnt send back to me.
a real oasis off the beaten track...”
I had only booked for one night, but found Bluewater a beautiful stop off on a 2 day trip to Bohol and Panglao... A real sense of peace in the resort, with marvelous rooms (I have stayed in bigger, and fancier, but not sure I have ever stayed in one that gave me such a sense of peace. The pool and pool bar were small/medium, but beautifully formed! The restaurant food was excellent (and reasonably priced too). cons: only a few... 1. wireless internet is poor. Didnt reach my room. As someone who needs to connect daily for work, that was a big minus. Easily solvable with a cheap booster AP at the poolbar end of the hotel (as I suggested to reception)... 2. it is off the beaten track (literally!). It is not on the main beach or socializing zone, and as such you will need to use the courtesy minibus of the hotel to get to the busier, more attractive beaches.. I guess if I was summing up I would say that it is perfect for a romantic getaway, or for a solo traveller, or family just wanting me/us time...it suited me down to the ground and I thought it was lovely. Thoroughly recommend.
New & Elegant”
The Panglao Blue Water is a spanking new resort just minutes from Alona Beach. Loved the rooms, each unit is extremely spacious with ensuite bath opening to a huge tub and adjoining rain shower. The rooms surprised us for being simply elegant yet comfy. Best of all, all rooms overlook an amazing pool!
Not bad, still new”
Pros - Clean, new, nice pools, welcome cakes and juice, beautiful rooms, good alternative to staying AT the beach Cons - Far from Alona (can also be a good thing if you want to be away from the 'crowd')about 8 mins by tricycle, dont walk it/ bathroom smells like their wooden furniture, no beach
Time in the resort was limited and we will just enjoy swimming in the pool coz limited facilities.”
The facilities in the map hope that it will materialise such as atv and other water sport facilities. Other concern is that the bedding need to improve coz my children can’t have a good night sleep due to bed bugs bite.
Beautiful resort and great facilities”
Arrangements for car transfers and tours were a breeze. Very friendly and reliable staffs. Room was clean, big t&b and seating area outside room was very convenient. Hotel had a very beautiful pool, spa service was available, food at restaurant was delicious and in room dining service was great. Beach area was rocky but it was advised ahead so no issues. A lot of great photo options around the resort.
For a relaxing vacation, do come here..”
We recently stayed here for 5 days/ 4 nights and had a very relaxing, stress free stay. The resort overall is well-maintained and the staff were all friendly and helpful. We stayed in the family loft, which is very spacious for a family of 4-6. There are various activities to occupy you while you are in the resort. While there was ongoing renovations in other rooms, we were informed prior arrival of this and not the least bit bothered during our whole stay there. The breakfast buffet is just fine. It had varying options per day so at least you dont get fed up eating the same food everyday. On days we ordered ala carte (pizza, pasta), food was delicious. Only negative was the distance of Bluewater to Alona Beach. You need to ride their shuttle (not free) or a tricycle to get to and from the beach area because the seashore by Bluewater is not recommended for swimming. Also was wondering why check-in policy is 3pm and checkout is 11am. Many hotels/ resorts do the 2pm check-in and 12nn check-out. Nevertheless, we had a terrific stay. It allowed our family to recharge and destress for a week. Thank you, Bluewater Resorts Bohol!
