Staff are helpful and accommodating. Good WiFi connection even inside the room. Walking distance to the Beachfront. Resto and other business establishment nearby. Some negatives especially in water supply. At times, problem in water supply. No bathroom inside the room. Common comfort room. Overall, very satisfactory.. I am travelling with my balikbayan nephew from Canada..
Great value for money”
The place is great- in town proper but a bit outside all the noisy parts. However, when first coming there we were in a bit shock as the front building is an unfinished under construction site. We spent the first night in a shared bathroom room (booked last minute because of a charge in the itinerary)- which I don't really recommend unless you're really short on budget. The next 4 days were spent in the loft which were great!! The breakfast is great and the lady that takes care of the hotel is really nice. Overall, a great value for money and certainly recommend this place. Just might need to bring your own towels as the ones offered are a bit used (but clean).
The Hotel is very close to the busy areas but it is very quiet , has a nice feeling The rooms are super clean Studio room is so big with a nice balcony The Staff : Johanna, Bing, everybody are so helpful and friendly I have to thank them again, for all the help!
We stayed here four nights and had a very good stay. The staff were very accommodating in answering any questions or responding to our needs. At this price point there are nearly no other places that offer wifi right in the rooms around the El Nido town proper. It also included a fridge which is somewhat rare as well. We stayed in a queen studio and it was well worth the price.
El Nido Holiday”
Dont expect much from a developing country.. outages and waterpipe closure seems to be the norm yet. Mosquitoes are prevalent in the room we had to burn coil whole time we are in the room. Bedsheets and towel is clean but cupboards and some bedtop dusty to touch.. think there are better options if u hv more budget.. otherwise still ok to stay.. breakfast was not bad..
No window in our room and the main light was not working. The power sockets were exactly behind the bed, so you had to move the bed first. After taking a shower the bathroom was like a lake. Sink didn’t work properly
Potentially good place”
As others have pointed out, the place is a building site at the moment (Jan 2019). It wasn't noisy but the outside area was a mess. If it rains, it could be awful. I found it hard to find reception The room itself was fine. Good size. Comfortable bed Good breakfast Staff a bit hit and miss Wifi a bit hit and miss too Some of these problems seem to be prevalent in El Nido. Standard of accommodation is not great in general. Wifi could be slow everywhere.
Great stay with Friendly Accomodating Staff”
Very nice room. Hot water. Biggest and tastiest breakfast during entire trip to Palawan. Quiet
Perfect hosts! We have felt as we are at home! great breakfast and free coffee/watthrough out the da”
Construction work might be a problem, but all in all great place to stay in El Nido
Considering the cost, this place is a good choice. We stayed in a Studio Queen room. It's walking distance to the beach and anywhere in town, you get wifi in the rooms and AC with a fridge (If you choose the room with it). It's hard to find that combo anywhere at this price point in the town proper. The staff were very accommodating though sometimes hard to find.
Quiet, Secure, Safe, and Family Run.”
Great experience. It was late when I got in and I booked last minute. I thought I was booking a place with an attached bath but then realized I didn't notice it. They may have them. It wasn't necessary since the rooms are inside of a building and the bath/shower/toilets are just a few steps away and convenient. AC worked well, no hassles, great service and super friendly staff. I'd stay there again just to get the good feeling I got. The rooms are in back and they are building a new hotel up front. No noise to speak of from that, but I found that Roosters and Chickens are crazy loud in some places from 3am and sometimes all day. This place was quiet. Slept awesome @ Bnky.
Top place, great stay ”
Very good place to stay during your days in El Nido, close to city center but really quiet, far from the noise and easy to find. Joanne and Mark are helpful, friendly and amusing. They serve very good breakfast with variety of eggs, vegetables and fruits. They organize hopping island and other trips. 100 pesos did from Corong Corong Bus terminal. I went for four nights and decided to stay the whole week. If I ever come back to El Nido, I will definitely stay with them again. The staff is really awesome at this place.
Best value and safe location”
I stayed a lot of places during my three week stay in El Nido and BNKY is a great bed and breakfast for those island hopping Explorers. Close to the restaurants and town. Plan your island tours accordingly and experience one of the best tropical excursions ever!
Great part of town as it’s quiet enough to sleep yet still very close to the busy areas. Host was lovely and welcoming creating a homely feel to the place. The main problem was the size of the room, there’s no way it’s a double room as two people with luggage struggled, fine if you have just a backpack, should be a single room. Overall a pleasent stay, didn’t get the included breakfast as we were gone on tours or early ferry so can’t judge. Would recommend
near the beach and restaurant areas”
Bing has been very helpful to me and my hubby. Since we traveled with his mom this time, we needed assistance in arranging land transfer to and from El Nido and she was the one who arranged these for us. The staff are very accommodating despite the fact that their boss was not around. The breakfast tastes good and very healthy.
I loved the way the hotel owner treated us, she told us about the history of the house and her family. Clean place, good breakfast, it's quiet and it's in a very good location. the employees are very attentive and polite. me encanto la forma como nos trató la dueña del hotel, nos habló de la historia de la casa y su familia. lugar limpio, buen desayuno, es tranquilo y está en muy buena ubicación. los empleados son muy atentos y educados.
Great Location but........”
The location is the best part of this property and that is where it ends. They ran out of toilet paper and told us twice that they were going to get more but never did, so had to buy my own. You had to ask for fresh towels each day. The place was infested with mosquitos. We reported that the aircon was not cooling but no one ever came to check it out. There was no lock box. It was recommended that you bring cash to El Nido because of the lack of ATM machines so I arrived with lots of cash but was left with either taking it all with me to the beach or risk leaving it all in my room. Neither was a good option
The capacity of the beds was perfect for us as we expected. However, I was disappointed with the bathroom, it was flooded, the toilet was clogged and the water was low pressure very disappointing. The air condition was not working although it was on. It was awful feeling from travelling 6 hrs from the road expecting to have a good rest and shower. But the good thing, the attendant was very accommodating. They let us to use the other bathroom while they fixing ours. The location was good but hoping the management will take a look at their facility very seriously to get a good review. Need more improvement.!!!!
Pros: Great location, air conditioned, heated water, place to hang wet clothing, good breakfasts, towels provided Cons: blankets missing, weak shower
Convenient location, BNKY is in the heart of El Nido. It's walking distance to everything downtown. Mark was very attentive and very helpful. As of 11/2018 they are updating the facility with new construction but I would not hesitate to say here again.
