Pros: - Location is right in the middle of Cloud 9 (and in front of the Boardwalk). Really convenient with motorcycles and stores just outside the resort. - Beach front, beautiful view of the beach/boardwalk, sunrise and the surfers - Staff are generally friendly Cons - Room cleanliness is an issue. I can see stains in the toilet boil. The toilet wasnt cleaned well and water pressure is low. - Rooms are a bit dated. There are no towels or toiletries provided (you have to ask for it). There's really a lot of potential on this resort. I feel bad for this rating seeing how the staff or the manager try to connect to their guests. I saw an ad that it's for sale. So i guess with the right capital, it could go better. They (or probably the new owner) should spend a bit to refurbished the facilities and make use of the huge advantage in terms of location.

I had a pleasant stay in this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. I had a good view of the beachfront and the location only a few meters from everything one would need in Siargao.

Pleasant stay, helpful staff at the Boardwalk”

It was good, staff very approachable and willing to help. The location is prime and we enjoyed waking up to the sound of the waves not too far away. The room was simple and need and big which we love, a bigger room makes it more comfy to stay. Overall, we liked it and we are definitely thinking of going back again next time.

Boardwalk's cloud nine resort is a very friendly place ,thanks to the resort's cheerful owner David.50/ night surf resort accom . with ac. Units that work well and had hot showers ,fresh towels and bedding.the tile floors and clean resort site had used surf board rental for 350php/day,bring soap/shampoo. Ceiling fan is nice. We stayed 2 weeks . the suite facing the actual break catches the sunrise.at 5 am. Only 20 feet to the water line at high tide. There are numerous tasty places to eat close by from budget to €¥$¢... This place is as prime a location as they get. No money exchange ,ATM ,credit or traveler's checks checks. Places like this are hard to find.

Poor service”

The staff were extremely difficult to coordinate with and unreliable to talk to. When we emailed them before arriving about coordinating a tour and airport transfers the replies were vague. When we were actually there they were incredibly unprofessional, changing prices of the tours we agreed on. One morning they told us to be in the lobby at 7 am for the tour and when we got there the entire place was closed and there were no people around. By 8 am someone showed up and actually said: "Why are you still here? Aren't you going on a tour?". There are several other stories I could relay but suffice to say the overall service was dismal.

Location, location, location ”

Broadwalk on Cloud 9 is a great location right out the front of the cloud 9 surf break. Unfortunately for us December is a bad time of year for surfing on this beautiful island and many web sites class this time of year as peak surfing season. It's not! The swell is there but the wind is onshore and rains most days. Getting on and off the Island can be tricky due to weather conditions that time of year also. Definitely worth a look another time of year!

Location is amazing Staff is great Avarage food Few times we didnt have hot water and 2 times no water at all cause the hotels tank got empty ! Unacceptable for 50 dollars per night Roni is the guy who runs the things , great guy ! Overall - worth 30-40 dollars per night but not 50 ( ocean view )

The room was so diferent than the pictures, very dirty, without toilet (only shared toilet, not what I booked before). Food portions too small. No worth.

We had a nice experience in siargao especially since our goal was to learn surfing. The hotel location is really good. The staff were really nice. The room is ok nothing great.

Beach hut needs a makeover”

I expected the beachfront hut to be in average condition, but it turned out to be the worst accommodation I've slept in in over 10 years. I feel like I paid $1 per mosquito bite received! The bathroom badly needs cleaning & the whole hut needs exterminating & freshening as the mould smell is bad. Staff was very helpful with arranging surfboard rental and surf lessons. I enjoyed the sweet & spur fish but otherwise the menu was fairly limited. I think the normal rooms were probably in better condition than the hut. I couldn't wait to move accommodation after being eaten alive by mozzies!

Generator fail but they made up for it.”

Boardwalk on cloud9 is the nearest to the surf break cloud9, so it was easy for us to go surfing. On our first night, unfortunately, the electricity in the island went out and the resort's generator was broken. So it was so dark, hot and lots of mosquitoes in our room. But the next day they made up for it by granting our request that we get a discount on an upgraded AC room. I would go back here to stay. Staff is very accomodating and friendly, but understaffed. Maybe because it was off-season.

Wonderful location”

It was great. I booked 2 nights initially at a discounted price thru agoda and then they matched it later. Big discount. Most staff were good but Ronnie would seem bothered anytime I did anything like order food, surf board ect. The room was nice. Two beds, secure, porche to read on. It was a Cozy perfect stay. I liked everything but the service Ronnie provided. He needs to smile. I still recommend it thou. Restaurant is great.. Wifi is a little flakey.

Great stay at Cloud 9”

I had a very pleasant stay at the Boardwalk Resort. My family left Siargao a day ahead, so I had an extra night on the island solo. But the staff at the resort gave me great company, visiting the tidal pool, sharing beer at the fish pond/resort near the cockfight stadium, and at night, trying the karaoke, burgers and even more beer at the boulevard in Dapa, with two other guests from the resort. Many thanks to the manager Reagan and staff Ronnie, Ram, Vicky for their hospitality. The resort itself provides clean standard rooms, good food options, easy access to Cloud 9 surfing and other services such as sightseeing tours and transportation to the ariport. All in all, a good choice.
