Wonderful, relaxing stay...can't wait to go back!”

Well- manicured surroundings, modern facilities, excellent customer service!

I've been here several years ago. So much had changed! Pls advertise heavily because the resort can be at par or even better with the other 4-5 star resorts in panglao and boracay. People all over the world need to know that the first in Bohol is indeed now the newest! I guess once the other pool is done with its construction, you will go all out. The white sand is so clean, powdery and it seems to stretch to eternity! The hotel staff from the front desk personnel to the waiters at the restaurant are just genuinely courteous, I do not remember having that feeling that they are always expecting a tip after service is done... so the more you'd like to tip them:) The grounds were well kept, lawns were nicely manicured. Food is superb, the room is modern, spacious and complete with the littlest of things--- slippers, umbrellas...I appreciate the giveaways that they handed to my two young kids. During dinner at night, we were serenaded by a group, it was awesome! I regretted not giving them some tip because there was no tip box. I asked the waiter if there was a tip box but there was none. Perhaps its a good idea to provide one. All in all, this resort is a true gem in panglao... Cant wait to spread the word to others about the wonderful experience we had at the new bohol beach club!

Besar Hotel in Panglao”

We loved this hotel. Me and my girlfriend planned to stay in Panglao for 5 nights and booked 2 nights in Bohol Beach Club and three more in the hotel next door which is South Palms Resort. The first day we got to Bohol Beach Club we knew we should have stay all 5 nights here. The staff makes you feel welcome, they are the most friendly Philipinos ever! When we changed to the other hotel we could tell the difference in the service and decided to come as often as possible for dinner, the restaurant has great quality food for good prices and the service just makes you have a pleasant meal. They had shows every night with live music. If you are between South Palms Resort and Bohol Beach Club, this is a no brainer!

Fantastic place to stay”

Good food, awesome beach, hotel condition

Perfect place. Very good food, well presented and reasonably priced. Great happy hour for cocktails - 2.5 hours free flow for 450 pesos. And they taste good! Buffet breakfast is a good choice to start the day. The hotel looks brand new everywhere. This is a place to relax. Awesome beach and it is cleaned every day which was nice to see. The first 100 meters are very very shallow. A nice touch is that they put cookies on the bed each night. They are wrapped however, it still attracts ants and one out of three nights the pillows had around 30-50 ants when we came back. Renting diving or snorkeling kit is very expensive. Better bring your own. A 20 minutes free glass-bottom boat tour is included when you are a hotel guest. It is good to take it so you know where to snorkel or dive. We first went to Balicasag Island which has a great reef (see my other review). After seeing the Bohol Beach Club reef from the boat I didn't bother to snorkel here. Just enjoy the beach it self. Crystal clear water. Booking tours at the hotel is also expensive. It is much better to book a day sightseeing trip in Bohol at Alona beach. The day trips usually stop for a 1 hour river cruise including lunch, this cruise costs 1000 pesos. This is a complete waste of time and money. There is nothing to see from the boat and the food on this boat was the worst I ever had in the Philippines. Tourist trap. The Filipinos on the boat seem to have enjoyed themselves much more than I did.

Memorable and superb experience! ”

Attentive staff, Great Manager and Excellent facilities.

We spent our Wedding Anniversary here and it was indeed an unforgettable positive experience. We are a family with 2 kids, it was our first time in Bohol and this resort made our stay memorable. It was indeed Bohol's newest. Everything in our room looks brand new, the touch and feel of the towels, sheets and bed were superb. Excellent choice in bathroom amenities as well as intelligent placement of sink (outside the bathroom). I believe the resort opened recently after months of renovation. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool so much and size was perfect for lapping - looks and feel new too. All of these complemented by the view of the Garden and Beach from our room which made the word "Perfect", an understatement. The General Manager, was very accomodating and passionate about his work, he has been in the resort business long to know that excellent facilities is not enough without great customer service. He and his staff made sure customer experience was top priority. They were so keen, housekeeping made sure that our room was spic and span and consumables replenished in the morning. There is even a turndown service at night. Waiters were so attentive, Filipino food in menu is good for sharing and was so affordable. We stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights and service was consistent. They even gave us a free glass boat tour!. Great Hotel at a great price!, a luxury you can afford. Thank you Bohol Beach Club!

A Review of Bohol Beach Club ”

We (a family of four - 2 adults and 2 kids aged 14 and almost 11) spent 4 nights at Bohol Beach Club (BBC). We stayed in their Beach View Suite (R-508) which had an unobstructed view of the beach. BBC has their own private beach, which was a real bonus!! Both our children are scuba divers and the facilities at the resort for that were superb. The concerned staff (be it the room service, aqua facilities, staff at the lobby) were always very approachable and ready to accommodate any of our requests. We all had a fantastic time at the resort as well as touring Bohol - which has so much to offer in terms of sightseeing. My only slight reservation about the BBC is their food choice and food quality. The breakfast was not very exciting in terms of food selection and got a bit monotonous. This could certainly do with some improvement. But our overall experience at the Bohol Beach Club was extremely good. Not only will we recommend it to others but we would love to come and stay here again. Thank you for a great stay BBC!

Fantastic Resort!”

I normally do not stay at resorts because I like to explore the city/areas that I am visiting. I chose Bohol Beach Club because of the reviews I read about the beach area. And it did not disappoint! Beautiful private beach with an area for guests only. The resort itself is very nice. Beautiful grounds, well maintained, nice pool. They have a main restaurant where the breakfast buffet is served. Lunch and dinner too. Everything we ate was delicious. Prices varied from 250-700PHP. The Filipino dishes can definitely be shared. They also have a pasta/pizza/ drink resto just across from the main restaurant. The staff are excellent! We stayed for 4 nights, Thursday-Sunday and there was entertainment 3 nights. Two weddings as well! The have a game room with pool table, ping pong and darts. Bar inside as well. I highly recommend this place if you want quiet, relaxing days and nights. If you are looking for a party atmosphere with lots of drinking etc. you should look elsewhere.

The resort in Bohol”

I love the Bohol Beach Club! I would def go back. The resort, food, service and facilities were exceptional. Thanks also for the free room upgrade. Always choose the room in the upper floor (if you’re getting the deluxe one) I can’t say anything negative in this hotel. It’s perfect!!!!! Also join the free yoga and glass bottom boat! This resort also has a good selection of complimentary buffet breakfast. They have free coffee, tea and water. They also have souvenirs like small tea bottle and stainless straw. Also, special thanks to my food attendant Joy. She was very welcoming. Actually all of the staff were so helpful and kind. If you’re in a budget, get a tricycle going around Bohol. The cost of it is just php150. Or depends how you barter. Stay in Bohol Beach Club coz you’ll get more than what you pay for. Relaxation at its finest.

Fantastic Stay”

Service, location, beach

We stayed at Bohol Beach Club Resort in September this year. The manager, Allan and his staff were amazing. The minute you arrive you are made to feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. We were impressed by the excellent service we received. The room was serviced twice a day and we thought the treats and message left on our pillow each night was a great personal touch. We didn't bother going elsewhere to eat as we thought the food was reasonably priced and delicious. The resort was modern, very clean and well looked after. The beach, with its white sand was always inviting. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back. We will recommend this resort to family and friends back in Australia.

Fantastic stay”

1) staff hospitality and helpfulness; 2) nice beach, sun and sea; 3) food

It was a fantastic stay for me and my girlfriend. We stayed there for 5 days/4 night in one of the deluxe rooms. The good points: 1) Staff was friendly and helpful. They are knowledgeable and assist in booking transport, excursion trip to Bohol attractions. 2) The room is spacious with 1 queen size and 1 single. Might have one or two mosquitoes if u open your room for too long but they provide electric mosquito repellent. There is no bathtub though. 3) the ambience is nice. Short walk to restaurant and the beach. 4) Beach is a private one so not too crowded. Readily available deck chairs and hammocks. 5) food is generally nice and tasty. The mussels are delicious and tiger prawns are juicy. The Filipino dishes are nice too: fried pork bellies are crispy and the soup is refreshing too ( reminds me of tom yam). However, they are generally salty and oily. The setbacks: 1) only one restaurant available. So not much choices. However, u can walk along the beach to go the the restaurants of the resort beside Bohol beach club. We tried the BBQ grill in the resort on their left (not the south palm resort) which is nice. Alternatively you can also take a car (300piso) which brings u to the nearby alona beach (10mins drive) and there are a lot of beachside restaurants to choose from! 2) it is mainly a beach resort. U will spend most of your times on the beach. And perhaps island hopping, snorkeling, diving, and visit their attractions. Not much facilities (only got a games room, a business centre for you to use computer, a clinic, a small swimming pool). BBC is undergoing some renovations so half the pool is closed. 3) Transport. Not the most accessible- take flight to Cebu airport, then 40mins car ride to the pier for a 2 hour ferry ride to Tagbilaran pier in Bohol, then 30mins car ride to BBC. BBC can help u arrange transport to/fro the pier at 600piso. The rest- we engage the help of William from "Explore Cebu Tours and Travel". Very reliable!

Paradise!!!”

Bohol Beach Club is one of the best place to stay in Panglao. The location is outstanding, the beach is stunning. Kudos to all staff! they are extremely helpful, professional, courteous, very friendly and attentive to all our needs. The resort is cozy, peaceful and relaxing. The food is tasty and has a great variety from local to international dishes. I commend Ms. Irene & Ms. Joy from Agotata Restaurant these ladies are so friendly, accommodating and looked so well after us. Same also with Ms. Khent (Frontdesk staff) for helping and assisting us during check-in and check-out. BBC is a great place to stay! Thank you for making our stay wonderful and truly enjoyable. This is our 2nd time & definitely we will come back again.

excellent service of staff and GM, peaceful surroundings, hot pool.

The experience was wonderful as the staff were very friendly and accomodating like they've known you for years. I love the welcome drinks and the cart for our luggages. As you entered the room, it was very spacious, clean, with a neutral fresh smell and complete with everything you need (except for bathrobes and lotion). When we get back to the room after dinner, the beds are already prepared with good night sweets and message. No need to request for housekeeping. Security was very tight as you can see the security guards (in uniforms) going back and forth the beachfront. Also, when we went island hopping, the guards also asked for our room numbers then checked again when we came back. We felt very secure. Finally, food was great and with a wide variety- breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But most important of all is the STAFF- from the front desk, to the concierge, waiters, lifeguards, etc. They will give you everything you need, sometimes, without even asking. I think it's how the General Manager, Allan Santos managed everything. Mr. Allan Santos is very visible, talking to the guests at the restaurant, at the water sports area, and he even takes orders from guests, foreigners or Filipinos. We feel so secured, safe, and well attended to at this hotel. Good job, Bohol Beach Club!

Enjoyable stay at BBC!”

Beautiful beach, fantastic facilities and relaxing room.

We got a good bargain at Agoda for our 3d2n stay in Bohol Beach Club compared to the direct booking at the resort. Price is also Php 500 cheaper if booking is made via mobile device than using a pc. After a tiring day of country wide tour or island tour, its so relaxing to spend time in BBC to enjoy the beach and other the facilities of BBC. Take note that the beach area is not pure white sand as there are stones, pebbles and sea grass in the sea. It is also highly recommended to have an aqua shoes since there are sea urchins in the area. The beach is enjoyable for snorkling and fish feeding similar to balicasag. Likewise, do not miss the complimentary glass bottom tour for you to appreciate the abudant marine life lying in area.

Amazing beach, amazing staff!”

Beautiful beach, helpful staff, great breakfast

We booked for 4 nights, and wished we stayed longer! There's a lot of hype about Alona Beach, but the beach that Bohol Beach Club is on is gorgeous! A palm-fringed white sand beach with beautiful clear azure water with beach beds and hammocks . . . all you need for a relaxing stay! The staff are super friendly and helpful. I had an ear infection when I arrived, and the hotel nurse not only organised a doctor to see me, they got hotel staff to pick up my ear drops in the city and bring them to the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a quiet beach, a delightful hotel, and an enjoyable stay on Panglao!

Best Beach in Bohol!”

Loved my stay at Bohol Beach Club. They were accommodating even if we arrived late around 8:30PM. I did my research regarding which beach was better and my research proved fruitful as Dumaluan Beach where BBC is, is much better than Alona Beach. It's clean and the sand is powdery white and I love its crystal clear waters. There's a lack of marine life near the beach so didn't see any fishes swimming. Loved also the hammocks around the area where you can just lounge around. Facilities are okay but I expected more from the room as it is a 5-star hotel. Everything's clean but it lacks that luxurious 5-star feel. Room was big though and good for 3. Staff were very friendly and despite having a not so good dinner. I ordered a local Bohol dish but the meat wasn't tender! I was disappointed with the food but the very kind waiter allowed me to take some food from the buffet because I was so hungry and we waited so long for it. But all in all I'd love to come back. Just a bit pricey.

Best resort in Panglao ”

We stayed BBC two nights. In this resort, you will find nowhere to go but stay in it. BBC has a white sand private beach. Unlike crowded and dirty alona beach. Only registered guests in BBC and south Palm are allowed to enjoy there. So people here are much less than other places. Although BBC is the oldest resort in Panglao, it’s well maintained and operated. All over resort looks awesome. The resort has one restaurant serving kinds of dishes. Food is delicious and price is rather low considering dining in such wonderful atmosphere. There are lots of choices in breakfast buffet. They even provide snacks for kids. Due to long history , rooms are not modern as newly opened 5 star hotel. It’s very clean. Staff does cleaning 2 or 3 times per day. All staffs are very helpful and well trained. They are willing to provide assistance all the time. That makes you always feel comfortable and relax. Above all, BBC is a nearly perfect resort. Next I come to Panglao I will definitely return again. It’s highly recommended to people want to experience quiet and natural atmosphere.

Great experience.”

Customer service, good food, private beach

The staffs in the resort are very friendly, they will treat you like a family. The food is good and the price of the rooms is reasonable. We stayed over a month in Bohol and tried Bellevue, South Palms and Bohol Beach Club. We enjoyed Bohol Beach Club the most. If you check-in in their resort, don't miss the massage for 600 pesos for an hour. Ask for Melay or Karina, they are the best masseur we ever had.

My new favorite place”

Clean, perfect beach, well designed rooms

This review is hard to start because I loved everything about this place. I took my wife and young son to this hotel as it was our honeymoon and we wanted to see her family from Bohol. From the time I made my reservations on Agoda, the staff from the hotel contacted me via email to confirm if I needed anything and to confirm transportation. I booked the beach view suite with breakfast included. The suite was perfect and we woke up every morning with a beautiful view of the beach. The hotel was very well maintained and you could always see the staff performing various preventive maintenance around the grounds. The beach is super clean and there is security there as well so you can just relax and no worry about anything. In fact you could often find me sleeping on the hammocks on the beach and I had no worries. If you are going as a couple for a honeymoon or romantic getaway, you don't even have to leave the hotel as everything is there. We got out alot as my wife's family is from Bohol. The hotel can arrange transportation or you can yourself (which we did). The best way to see Bohol is by moped/motorcycle. Plenty of places to rent from in fact one is located right down the street from the hotel. In fact that is why I didn't give them a five for the staff because of the conflicting information we received. When we checked in the receptionist told us just let her know what type of vehicle we wanted and they could arrange. The next morning the receptionist told us they did not have any POCs to contact for rentals. If thy can get small things like that together I would definitely rank them a five. However, that won't deter me in the future, I can't wait to go back here next year!

Great Beach, Meh Food”

It's tough to complain about much at the Bohol Beach Club. Their private beach is one of, if not the best in Panglao (and we visited quite a few). The sand is white and shell-less, and they provide great areas to lounge on beach chairs, cabanas, and hammocks in front of the crystal-clear water. The location is close enough to Alona Beach that you don't feel stranded, and they helped us with ordering a tricycle (10 minute ride) when we felt like grabbing food elsewhere. However, if there is one complaint it has to be the food. We had trouble finding anything on the menu that was better than just ok. Nonetheless, the place itself is definitely worth checking out.
