A wonderful place to relax with fine organic food!”
For a relaxing time away from beaches with their hordes of visitors, as well as a chance to taste wonderful, organic food, come to the Bee Farm. I have just finished my fifth visit, and find it an ideal place for reading, thinking, and connecting with yourself. They make an ice cream unique in its texture and flavors, and have a wonderful massage facility overlooking the ocean. A few days spent here will energize you for the next stop on your travels.

Great place to stay with young children”
This was a very nice place to stay in Bohol. There was a lot that kept our children busy. Our daughter has a milk allergy, so she was excited to be able to eat such excellent ice cream every day. My kids also loved the pool, the restaurant and the sea side area.

Dust mites aplenty”
The food is really good, I have to give that to them. Organic food is good, coffee and fresh fruit juices are really good. (I can’t vouch for its cleanliness though). The staff are also friendly. However, what I don’t like is that they lack cleanliness practices. I stayed 2 nights on one of their villas in time for a friend’s wedding. I ordered room service when I arrived in mid afternoon. The food is good. However, after the meal, nobody came to get the empty dishes though many attendants passed by. The plate of food was finished off by a cat. When I woke up the following morning it was still there. And the worse part of my stay was that I got dust mite bites all over! It was so bad, I itched all over my body. I had to treat myself and also had to sanitize all our home linens for fear I might pass on the mites to my kids.

Everything nice”
We enjoyed everything. Nice ambiance, a modern farm. Great tasting but a lil pricey food, we paid more for the food than accommodation :-) but worth it. My daughter enjoyed all their pasta during our 3 meals @ their resto. The free buffet breakfast was superb. There is a kettle in the room, ref & toiletries, the only missing thing was bidet. Hair dryer available upon request. With very accommodating staff as well.

pros: we like the food being serve here. the from grow most if not all of the vegies that they serve. many locals come here just to visit and have ice cream. excellent. love their ice cream. many many flavors. we stayed on the second floor with the ocean view. very calming. the farm had their own diver's shop. no beach but you can wade on the water at low tide. booked a city tour with them and their driver "cJ' was an excellent one. not overly agressive and very very safe guy. i love boku and took me to a place where they sell for only PHP20 each where some places cost PhP40-50 each. no complain on the wi-fi. cons: stayed here only for 3days. cons: our stay was only for

It's quite far from Alona Beach, so if you're not much into a nightlife and the noise that goes along with it, this place is perfect for you. It's really perfect for just relaxing by the beach, and enjoying their wonderful organic food.

I enjoyed my short stay in this little paradise. They allowed me to check in early and the staff was very accommodating. The welcome drink was really refreshing and the tour guides were friendly and courteous. The ambiance, the food, the garden, the pool and the beach, as well as the diving and snorkeling site was awesome! The manong pianist, a former Via Mare Makati pianist serenaded me with beautiful love songs in their cafe after my relaxing snorkel. Only downsides were: the wifi connection was not available in my room (I stayed in a room close to the garden). Also, they need to upgrade their cable subscription because CNN, BBC or Al Jazeera was not available in their channel line up. For guests who like watching international news like myself, I hope they would do something about it, as well as work on having a stronger internet connection (unless you want to disconnect from everything). Nevertheless, I enjoyed my stay and I highly recommend this place.

Pleasant place for two nights.”
Our room was upgraded upon our arrival which was very nice. The staff were friendly like the people in this country. Enjoyed their foods and the breakfast buffet but you need to get there early to avoid the loud noisy chinese tourist. We rented a moped near the entrance of the hotel and rode everywhere from the beaches to the river. At night, we eat at the hotel restaurant and used the swimming pool. Enjoyed the visit at this hotel overall .

Healthy Vacation”
Very spacious room, we had an upgrade of room, but not suitable for us since we booked gor bungalow because of my young kids, instead they gave us the room at the 2nd floor building. The breakfast is good, all are organic that’s grown at their farm. Room is clean, signal of the TV is very poor. No beach to go since the location is far from alona beach. But overall our stay is very pleasant. Will definitely go back and recommend to families and friends

An Ideal Place to Relax and Rejuvenate”
The Bee Farm is a wonderful and relaxing place to enjoy the beauty of Bohol. The organic food selections are unique, and most of the ingredients are sourced locally. The ice cream alone is worth the visit, but soups, salads, and breads made on-site always delight the senses as well. A few days appreciating the sunrises, the spa, and the ambience is a great restorative!

Charming place, great change of pace”
Loved the charm of the little cottage type housing, everything was fresh with all the plants and greenery around as well. Facilities were pretty clean and well kept overall, as w anything here, could have been a little better, but definitely good for the Philippines. This is a great change of pace from the regular hotel or resort, and for the money it's SO worth it. The food was also good which is rare for me to say, which made it even more of a place I can recommend, especially for foreigners who aren't always keen on the local cuisine. Highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again!

Almost perfect stay”
Positive – Almost self-sufficient resort, like a rustic Club Med. Resort is perched on a cliff, therefore an amazing view. The food, especially breakfast, may be the reason for our return stays in the future. Dinner does get a bit crowded as the restaurant is reputable with non-resort guests too. Almost every fitting in the resort is recycled from nature extracts (so innovative & eco!). Room is spacious. Bed and pillows were heavenly, thou the beddings may vary with each alternate day change. Lots of cable channels to choose from. Housekeeping was efficient and well done. Resort is quite secluded, but transportation (motorized tricycles, taxis) are on standby at the resort. Good free tour around the farm/resort showcasing their production, with a good corporate social responsibility project in place. Negative – Most rooms have translucent curtains; ask for higher floors if you need the privacy. Didn’t have chance to try out the inviting Jacuzzis (4 of them!) as the area was perpetually closed for some repair works while we were there. Staff we approached about its opening was not even aware that its closed. Some staff apparently had keys to our room and barged in, in the middle of our first night! Took a while of shouting at them before they realised it was occupied, and left. Reported this to the Frontdesk the next morning, but did not get a very reassuring response. Luckily there was a high-back chair in the room that we could stuff under the lock the rest of our stay, since there was no double locks on the doors. Tip – Nearest beach is Alona, about 20mins ride by motorized tricycle (app. Php200), really nothing much to do there. Do bring your own toiletries as there is none provided in the rooms, except for some papaya soap which will matt up your hair with the hard water. Paid php270 on Airport taxi from Mactan airport to Cebu Pier. Booked car transfers with the resort (php500 per way between Cebu pier to resort). At the piers, travelers are entitled up to

Lovely resort, great food, honest and polite staff”
The resort is not hard to find and is impressive with their botanical garden, art works, furnitures, indoor pool, jacuzzis, great food. The staff is polite and honest. I left my gold bracelet in our room upon check-out and the housekeeping turned it over to the duty officer who then gave me a call! Honesty at its best! Kudos!!

Food, Amenities, Staff
Hotel is perfect for chilling out and relaxation, location is quite remote. Food was excellent. Only downside was transpo getting in and out of the hotel on your own can be quite expensive because of the remoteness of the hotel, however there were shuttles to and fro alona beach.

Clifftop retreat with great food”
The location; the farm; the restaurant
This was my only hotel treat during an otherwise budget holiday and I'm glad I chose the Bee Farm for that. Loved this resort, with the abundant veg and herb gardens everywhere, the bakery pumping out fresh-bread smell, the clifftop views from the restaurant, and loads of nice shady little spots to sit with a book and a beer. The room I had was good value for the price point; huge, lots of natural light, with a balcony, near the Jacuzzi deck. But the main value here is the farm and the organic food production that you can watch from the bedroom window; few other hotels in this price range offer a setting like that.

WONDERFUL UNIQUE EXPERIENCE”
ORGANIC SALAD, ROOM, STAFF
This was my first time here and I was very impressed with the entire operation, from the organic gardens to the bee hives to the restaurant, ice cream parlour, pool and of course the rooms. But more of all the staff. Felix and one other younger fellow. Unfortunately I cannot remember his name but they impressed us the most. The younger fellow fixed out television which went kaput in a matter of seconds. Felix was the bee master and he was super friendly and we enjoyed chatting with him a lot. We loved the salads and the meals there. Very unique setting and the first time that I was actually freaked out by an ugly spider that made its home on an outside wall. We left it alone and it left us alone....perfect harmony. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.
