Cozy holiday in at Bohol Shore”
Cozy place with very kind and friendly staff. We really had a great stay here. The hotel is not walking distance from Alona beach (about 15 minutes by tricycle) but instead this makes the hotel a relaxing place to stay. We wanna really come back to this hotel someday in the future. Thank you very much!
Great hotel! Amazingly nice and kind staff. The room is perfect and the pool is one of the best weve seen in the phillipines. Highly recommanded for couples! We stayed for 3 nights and everything was just perfcet!
A beautiful resort that makes you wanna stay in for all day . Rooms are just the same as the pictures, the swimming pool is wonderful and the staffs are all very nice. Definitely one of the best resorts in Panglao!
A resort worths its price!”
The Bee Farm is nearby the resort, it only takes 10-15 mins walk to the restaurant or you can ask the staff to drive you there ($50peso). Another bonus for this resort is that there are shuttle buses from the resort to the port and from the resort to the Alona beach (depart at the resort at 6 p.m. / pick up at Alona beach at 8 p.m.).
The property is nice, buffet breakfast is ok. Food selection at the restaurant is plenty thou a bit pricey. The only down side of this place is that they have too many chinese national guest who have no respect at the privacy of other people. They will shout and do crazy things. I hope next time a book a room, there is an option that states"less koreans, less taiwanese or chinese.
Not beachfront but facilities and rooms are great”
Rooms are huge and perfect for families. We had our own pool in the veranda overlooking the sea which was very nice. Food was good , I had fresh grilled seafood while the kids had pizza. Staff not the most accommodating of certain requests (like packed breakfast since we were going dolphin watching early morning). After swimming in their huge pool it can get boring so we wanted to go to Alona beach where the action was, but Transport to nearby beaches was a bit difficult as the resort was far away and you had to arrange for a van to pick you up. We did jetskiing also which took a long time to get to the water (since they had to bring it down the cliff via narrow stairs). Other than a few minor inconveniences, rooms were comfortable and facilities were clean. My family and I had fun.
We wanted to love this place, we really tried, but there were just too many issues for something we paid so much for. We booked 2 rooms requesting 3 times they be together (one room would have 3 children in it). We were given 2 rooms near each other, but not together - quickly rectified when we asked, so no real drama. Then no hot water in either room, it was fixed within an hour, again, no major drama - until we had to request an additional 7 times for the hot water to be fixed in one of the rooms over the next 3 days. Frustrating! The rooms & pool are lovely, however the staff (all very friendly & plentiful) struggled with service (especially given there were so many of them & very few guests around) & one evening between the 6 of us, only one of our dishes off the dinner menu was available. No real atmosphere either, felt like we were at a ghost resort! The staff were very friendly, but that just wasn’t enough. Sadly, we were very disappointed with our stay.
very kindely :)
Wanted a King size bed room but end up 2 queen size beds. so we need to combine the both bed together. The private pool villa is so called sea view but we r looking at trees and bushes. however, the staffs there are very friendly.
Thanks to agoda promo, we enjoyed free breakfast and even dinner for 2 days. Overall the resort facility was almost and very clean. and the crews were kind and delight. However. location was a little far from the Alona beach so it was inconvenient.
Location good but some staff have to improve to meet intl. standards”
We stayed there with 3 Families – 6 Adults and 4 children -. The place was reasonable orderly and we especially enjoyed our three “Beachfront” Houses with a small private pool in front. The almost circle round main pool was as well great. Fortunately during our time there the place seemed almost empty and so we could use the pool undisturbed. Due to the secluded location and no full occupancy it was very peaceful and quite. Unfortunately the resort has not sandy beach but a steep cliff with lots of rocks and sea urchins. Also a gym was in our opinion missing. The staff was friendly and helpful with certainly some exceptions. The most annoying experience is the kitchen. The prices are far to high for what they offer and quite a lot of dishes in the menu where not available. Than the team in the kitchen appears very slow, so we waited for more than one hour at dinnertime for all the dishes. The worst was than the breakfast the first day. After more than one hour the dishes have still not been served and where totally mixed up. The most curious remark was that they could not serve Bananas as topping as stated in the menu. The reason was that at the moment there is no season – well living in the Philippines for some years I noticed that Banana season is year-round. Possible the Bohol Shores have different Banana trees!!!! One positive aspect was our day trips booked via the hotel. We made one inland tour to the Chocolate Hills with quite a few other sightseeing spots and the other das we went out Dolphin watching and island hopping with snorkelling. Both tours where excellently organized and managed including the starting point right from the hotel. The most annoying thing was then that one of us forgot his iPod in the safe deposit box. One day later and back in Cebu we called the reception to check – but as almost expected here, no one saw or found this iPod.......???? This means that some of their staff is not honest at all.
The service is excellent! While the location not very close to the Alone beach. But it has their own beach you can play the banana boat. And it's very new! The room service is nice too Thanks Daniel and Jape they are a very nice people! Really like Philippines now
Enjoyable stay ”
The rooms were very nice - but the airconditioning blows right onto your face while you sleep making it very uncomfortable. We finally had to turn around and position ourselves at the foot of the bed to avoid the aircondition. Staff were great - very friendly and attentive. Found the price to be a bit on the high side. Pool was very nice. Kids had a great time.
The resort is clean and well kept and the staff are friendly and helpful.. The pool is cleaned everyday. The room is super nice with ample space to walk and move around. Bathroom is bigger than your usual hotel/resort. They can accommodate city and island tours if your interested.
An amazing place if you don't want to explore ”
This place isn't very old apparently only been open for 6 months. I loved the villa style rooms, the mini pool and the great beach view. The staff can't do enough for you, however for me and my partner, it just wasn't our kind of location. If you want to stay and have your every whim served this place is for you, if you want to be in the thick of it and easily able to travel around, probably not the place to stay.
Perfect honeymoon destination ”
We stayed at bohol shores for 4 nights at one of the pool villas they have and it was perfect in every way possible. The rooms are nicely designed, modern, as well as clean. The staff there are very friendly and are willing to help in any way possible. Its one of the best hotels we stayed in and we truly recommend it to others.
Family Trip in Bohol”
My family and I enjoyed our stay at Bohol Shores. The place is so calm and relax. The employees were so accomodating and approachable. The place is perfect for people who wants a break from city noise and crowded areas. And they got the best pillow! Really...😊☺👍
the best resort ”
they have the newest facilities. beds are very comfy and amenities are enough. it has good condition and always keep clean. far from Alona beach, they provide free shuttle to Alona beach twice a day. there are many mozzy around room. should bring anti mozzy spray. above all, swimming pool was excellent. i totally satisfied with everything about Bohol shores.
Nice place to stay”
The hotel was pretty nice, it was clean and the staff was really helpful ! Overall, it is a five star styled hotel, though the price seems to be a little high for the size of the hotel. The hotel is located far from the Alona beach, though you could travel via motor bikes. And it has a nice beach right beside it.(this side of the beach is rocky, forget sunbathing or anything ) Overall, worth staying.
