Exceptional”
This was my 3rd stay at Boka Hotel and each time I have been pleasantly supplied. The exterior, entrance lobby, staircases and corridors aren't particularly inspiring but the rooms have always been clean with firm comfortable beds and small kitchenettes. The rooms at the rear of the building are quieter and more spacious. For my most recent visit I booked a single room but was allocated a large very nicely decorated double. The free cooked breakfast is great and all the staff are very friendly. It is consistently one of the cheapest hotels in the area but also one of the best - don't expect luxury, but for a night or two on a budget I would recommend.

Breakfast a chaotic even the hotel only had 10 for breakfast and yet none of the cutlery was available we had to ask individually. When in Rome do as the Romans do.!!!....so when in a tea loving country have TEA cups & not fiddly little coffee cups. Noone spoke english on the 1st morning on the 2nd morning an english speaking lady seems to get things moving.

Great value and location!”
Stayed here for 6 nights in early October. Everything was spick and span - kind of old but well maintained and worked without any issues. Really appreciated the kitchenette (sink, microwave, plates, cups, mugs, cutlery, dish soap, fridge) as that meant I could self cater which helped to cut down on costs. Supermarket is around 10 minutes away but it’s a huge one! Toiletries replenished everyday, they gave way too many in fact; towels were changed daily too. WiFi was pretty fast and was easy to connect to. The full English breakfast was excellent - you can customize it according to your preferences as well. Staff was friendly and asked you how you would like your breakfast daily. There’s also cereal, milk, orange juice for those who would like a lighter breakfast. Location was great for sightseeing on a budget as it’s only a less than 5 min walk from Earl’s Court Station and 30 minutes give or take from the popular areas. Earl’s Court is also easy to get to and from Heathrow Airport so that saves you both time and money as well. All in all, would definitely recommend for any traveler who’s looking for accommodation that’s reasonably priced and offers a lot of value. Was slightly worried prior to arrival because of the mediocre reviews but it turned out to be way better than I expected!

Dirty room but hotel in good location ”
After enter the hotel room we found that there were alot of spider webs on the wall above the bed. The room looks like it has not been clean or used for quite some time. We complained to the staff and asked for a changed of room but unfortunately the hotel was fully occupied. So we have no choice but to stay in that room after we asked the staff to clean away the spider webs. Luckily for us it’s was only for a night. We booked this hotel because of it’s location which is nearby the subway and bus station.

I will never go to this hotel again!”
The room is extremely dirty. It seems it is not cleaned for at least one week when we came in. They will never change tower unless you tell them. The staff at reception said they will clean the room everyday and change the tower once 4-5 days, which is not true! Honestly, I cannot breath and sleep the first night so I cleaned the room by myself... And the toilet is very small.

Never again! Worst hotel I’ve ever seen. ”
Absolutely nothing was ok: the hotel is really old and not properly maintained, the room is full of dust and the furniture is disgusting (the sheets seem to be clean but don’t look below!!) On top of that the hotel is really noisy.

Excellent value, great location. Close to tube, buses, bikes and all the amenities of Earls Court.”
Excellent value for such a good location. If you look too closely it's a bit ragged around the edges but nothing too bad. Certainly not dirty or unhygienic. They appear to be refurbishing some rooms too.

Pros: - Metro station nearby (Earl's Court) - Semi close to the center - Toilet and shower in the room - Refrigerator - kettle and instant coffee provided (and tea) - 24 hour reception Cons: - The toilet didn't flush. This is a big con, since it can make your vacation really inconvenient. - The room was dirty in the corners when we arrived and throughout our stay. - You get a key, and it only opens the door to the room and not the front door. Since there's a 24 hour reception it's not that bad, but it would be better if guests had their own key. - The room got VERY hot during night. And there's no air condition.
Reviewed August 28, 2017
We are pleased you liked some items, re the others, the toilet does flush but the new style toilets required to comply with water saving mean you have one short flush or a full flush you push both buttons down . re the key I am unsure of the problem and why you would need a key to the front door, the reception desk is adjacent to the front door and there is a member of staff 24 hours, I am unsure why you would need the key when the front door is not locked as we have 24 staff next to the front door, giving you a key would not mean we did not have staff they are there as a requirement of safety laws and for practical and insurance reasons . Very few hotels give clients keys to the front door of a hotel as they are just not needed
