Clean and comfortable though older facilities”
Bokelai is a very decent option in the heart of the Qingjing farm area. It’s a good base to hike/explore the Hehuan area as lodging is limited further up. We spent a night here prior to hiking Qilai and it was a comfortable stay. Facilities are dated, but rooms were clean and comfortable and the owners were incredibly kind and helpful. We were up before the normal breakfast hours, but they were kind enough to pack us out some toast and boiled eggs. Value for money isn’t great in the area compared to elsewhere, but we’d happily stay again for our purposes.

A stone's throw from Green Green Grassland, it is very accessible. We arrived in the evening, wet with rain but felt really welcomed by the staff who quickly checked us in efficiently. With the rain and cold weather, their steamboat dinner offerings was a relief... which turned out to be delicious. The staffs were very honest, advising us to order for two portions, saying that it is sufficient for us and our two kids. We really appreciate the honesty as we would have (at least the hungry me!) ordered for 4 pax instead. The dinner turned out to be scrumptious- the portions were sufficient for 4 of us ( two adults and two kids). The cold weather didn't give us the chills, thanks to the electric bed warmers.... we had a good night's sleep, preparing us for our cold ascent to HeHuanShan the next day. Excellent choice for Cingjing Farm”
We stayed two days at Bokelai. We wanted to enjoy the views from the Farm and from the hotel. Bokelai is a 3 minute walk from the Farm, so it’s really ideal. The owner works very hard for the guests to have an excellent experience. His English is very sufficient to communicate. We are vegetarian, so that was quickly accommodated in breakfast. Tea is available throughout the day and some snacks are provided in the room. The rooms are huge with two double beds with most rooms with stunning views, as well as the breakfast room. Everything is very clean. Internet is excellent. Supper is available for NT300 per person. Another option for a meal is in the area at the northern entrance to the skywalk. If you are taking a bus, get off in front of the Cingjing Farm and look for a small road running along the northern edge of the farm. So, go uphill a few metres from the yard. Returning, the bus stop is 50 m uphill from the farm entrance. The owner made sure we knew the excact spot. So kind!

comfortable stay at a convenient location”
It was a very comfortable stay at Bokelai. As it was winter time when i visited Cingjing, the temperature was approximately 5-10 degrees. it was very comfortable to be snuggling under the electric blanket. Bokelai is also situated right next to Qing Qing Cao Yuan, hence making it very convenient to go back to the minsu to place whatever purchases that you have made at Qing Qing Cao Yuan before heading down to Swiss Garden/ Starbucks/ main area. However, do not expect a posh hotel, as this is nothing like it. It is more of a comfortable family-run minsu, with basic ammenities provided.

Owner greet us with warm welcome and take care us with service mind. The room is clean, big and comfortable. We can watch mountain view in the room by the big window. For the location, it is very near from Cingjing Farm by walk just for 3 mins. I prefer to stay in this place if compared with Cingjing Gueat House because we can separate the day of Cingjing farm's activities and walking on skywalk 's activity so we can spend time in any activities properly. They offer us a hot pot with NT250 that is very delicious and worth for money and breakfast which includes in room price is very delicious as well. cons: don't have water heater for taking a shower.

Comfortable stay and close to Cingjing Grassland”
The villa is very conveniently located within minutes of walking from Cingjing Grassland. The owner was very welcoming, and will come out to greet you when you arrive and arranging their staff to carry your luggages to your room. Room was clean and cozy with bed heater as it can get really cold in the night up in the mountains. Homely Breakfast was provided too. A nitpick would be that have a separation between the toilet and shower area, probably with some sort of curtain to prevent water from splashing.

Peaceful”
The hotel is not very easily assessable, you will have to walk a distance to get there. To be fair, almost all the hotels there are not very easily assessable because it's a mountain plus rural area. Bokelai is one of the nearest to the Cing Jing Farm entrance. It's really very cold there, hence, thank god for the heated blanket in the room! The staff (or should I say the boss) is super friendly. He kept giving us guidance and offered to drive us out to the main stores to shop. I really love the peaceful environment there!

Beautiful scenery, comfortable room, nice staff”
Felt like staying at home, had welcome tea & snack,the room was comfortable,staff were nice & friendly,the boss offered lift to Little Swiss Garden& back to the Villa. It is near to the Evergreen grassland. Enjoyed the beautiful scenery, very relaxing! Would like to stay there again.

Great location and friendly boss”
Location was good, a stones throw away from cingjing farm and the bus stop to puli. however the walk from the bus stop is rather deserted and it's rather scary once it turns dark after 6. Nothing much to do here after 5pm, so it's better to come earlier to see the attractions. There is no air conditioning in the room, but it is really not needed as it is super cold at night (11 degrees Celsius). The original room rate is 4000NT so I guess agoda cut a pretty good deal with 50% off. There are also hotpot and noodles and snacks available at the counter. The boss also gave us directions to the farm and introduced this van driver that would drive us back to the hotel from the attraction at just 50nt per person. Will definitely visit again if given the chance.

Walking distance to cingjing farm and bus station. The owner very friendly and helpful.. Super view for sunset. We order the mini steam boat have to eat before 7 o'clock, it okay for us as we understand is the small villa.

Helpful staff”
Very helpful staff. We arrived at around 7pm and it was already dark. As soon as we were alighted from our vehicle, all the staff came to help us with the luggage and showed us the menu for our dinner. Dinner doesn't come cheap, moderately price. Bed comes with warmer. The wooden flooring in the room lacks spark. Clean toilet and room. Breakfast was light. Located next to Cingjing farm. The wall in the room is not well soundproof. We can hear people talking from next room.

Location is just beside Cingjing Farm which is convenient. I had no solid plan to visit in Cingjing but no worries as the owner will draw u the places on a map to look out for in Cingjing and also how to get there eventhough I hadn't asked him yet for any recommendations..Good service!

Quiet and homely environment near CingJing Pasture”
Location is best, next to CingJing Greenland, and you can hop onto Nantou transport at the entrance without having to go to the bus station. Owner is very friendly and helpful and even suggested places to visit. Safe environment for solo traveller because the owner and his family and 2 workers stay in the same compound. They provide meals upon ordering, and these meals were delicious, be it hot pot or breakfast. I feel so safe and comfortable staying alone here. Was greeted with a pot of good chinese tea upon check-in, which was comforting for cold weather. Woke up in the morning and greeted by a sea of clouds, beautiful sight in the morning. Although surrounded by wild grasses and unable to see nice views but this morning clouds compensated for all.

good location and warm blanket”
Upon arrival, the boss was very warm , gave us a map and brief us on how to go cingjing farm. the restaurant served dinner, the lemon grass hotpot that I ordered. Pot of tea was served in the room. breakfast was simple with porridge and simple toast. Location is good, it is just few minutes walk to cingjing. Mattress was hard, however electric blanket provided kept you warm.

Cosy homestay-kind of hotel run by young family”
The hotel is right next to the CingJing Green Green Grassland. Go for the steamboat if you are having your dinner there, it is perfect on a cold night. We travelled without any winter clothing and the electric blanket certainly helped us passed the night.
