I finished two books in my two nights stay!! Definitely worth a try if you're a book lover. Do note that you'd have to go up the third floor of the building to find it. It's also quite a tight squeeze if you have a bigger frame. But the food was super good, staff was super friendly, and people were quiet and polite. The facilities were always clean and they provided everything I needed. Value for money considering how close it is (literally 3 mins) from the station!

Best hostel I’ve been to”
Loved my stay in this hostel! The concept of it is unique. Great for book lovers like me and my 13 years old daughter. One of the cleanest hostel I’ve ever been to. The toilet is impressively clean as well! Will definitely come back again!

Great place for a quick and budget stay”
The whole place is very clean and tidy. It is basically what you expect from a capsule hotel - great money value, convenient and also clean and comfortable. It is a great place for bedtime readers for sure, but unfortunately not that many English books there (but hey they have some nice animes lol) You have separate shower rooms and bathrooms (some are only for ladies) and a long water sink for brushing your teeth and washing your face. Staff is generally helpful with a level of English good enough for simple conversations. Location is great and you can go for food for 24h throughout the day. Overall I will recommend this place for anyone looking for a capsule hotel in Shinsaibashi, especially if you are a keen reader.

Excellent Experience, Friendly Staffs and Wonderful Ambience”
There's a club right below the hostel, very near to all the tourist attractions. Most importantly, the aesthetic of the place and the friendly staffs just make you feel so comfortable. Definitely will be back!

Friendly service and good location”
The bed was clean and warm, it didn't need to cover blanket in winter. Atmosphere was really good with a lot of books, magazine. Just feel like sleep in bookshelf.

I'm glad I found this new guesthouse and give it a try. first time staying in this kinda of guesthouse, overall a good experience. and their food that tempted me! tried it and I'm totally in love w it. had it twice and its was good. staff there are all nice and friendly! will definitely stay here again when I'm back.

I loved staying here. Definitely a great place for the price. Excellent location, right on top of Shinsaibashi, close to Dotonbori and a station. Very friendly staff (even if they act super cool and hip). Sometimes some staff would even pop into the common area to chat with guests. Very quiet considering its close to clubs and bars. The common space is nice and you can chat with other guests if that's your thing. I got the breakfast options , and while there wasn't a huge variety of choices, it was tasty and just right to start the day (and gimmicky with the black colouring). Yes you "room" is a capsule" but you're paying $30 a night for a cool, well located, friendly place. It's a little annoying that they don't accept cash for anything, but it's a small issue. Recommended for a short or weeklong stay to explore Kansai.

Very good location”
Within the busy streets of shinsaibashi and just a few minutes to shinsaibashi station. You can walk it thru from and to namba bus and train station as you wouldnt be able to notice the time nor the distance due to the stalls and shopping stores along the way 😁👍👍👍👍

Stairs hard to climb and too hot inside the cubicle”
Stairs design are a big problem, very hard to climb and prompt to hurt yourself. Inside the cubicle / capsule, its is super hot, I was sweating inside and open the curtains when I sleep (I already open the airflow in the cubicle,still HOT) Other than that, the design, the staff are all 5 stars! Super friendly staff, super dupe design, very Instagrammable place !

Awesome selection of local craft beer and some fantastic books. Super friendly staff, and ask for food recommendations and they will hook you up. It's a very good hostel! The location is pretty good and their best selling point is that they had lots of interesting books. We had to buy amenities (towels and toothbrushes) but the shower room was very clean, soap and hair dryer were in place. For a hostel the amenities are great .

The rooms were just size (not spacious, not narrow) and clean and the common space and cafe is also nice element :) Good location. The staff were superb, so happy to help and very friendly. They are willing to chat with the tourists.. Not easy to climb up and down from the second frame of the bed, the stairs is too short.But the common space is very clean and very fancy design, so very comfortable. We could take picture and the staff helped me to take picture. It is very good experience for me.

This hostel is very nice!! The staff where very helpful and welcoming. Did not feel like I was staying in a hostel as it was so clean and comfortable. Locker area under the bed room are a bit small, but not really a big deal. Since usually we put valuable stuff in the security box. There are security box each bed. It's near NAMBA area so very convenient for nearby sites. However If you want to use JR station it takes 10-15 mins by walk. Nearest station is subway SHINSAIBASHI station. It takes only 2 minute!!!!

It was the first time I stayed this hostel, but it is the best for people who like the space surrounded by books. Interiors are fashionable, quiet, cozy and comfortable. | You can also find English books. In addition, when I go out, the staff talks friendly and also teaches recommended shops. The space is unique and clean(also shower room and toilet). The place has a modern design. The cafe is fantastic as well as the common area. You can oder the breakfast at the cafe. Beds are comfortable and well heated The staff were superb, so happy to help and very friendly. Would definitely stay again!

easy to go to famous sightseeing place.”
This place is amazing. This is first time to use this kind of hostel but very relaxable and comfortable. I was worried about the sounds but they gave me free earplugs so I slept well. There are no big space to put my luggage near my bed. There have one common luggage space but its only space (no keys, no tags) I know Japan is safe but I was worried about that. However the staff kept my luggage safety at the front desk. And also good location. You can easy to go to famous sightseeing place. You can go by walk at “Dotonbori”!! Thank you for your help. If I come to Japan again, I will use this place again!!!

The common areas are clean and well equipped. The cafe is a nice place to have some drinks. They have original drink (It was very surprising drink and meal.!!!! BLAK DRINK and MEAL!!!) They can not accept cash. It easy for me but we need to pay each time.
