Great location and big room”
Love the breakfast so much, compare with other three stars hotel that only serve eggs and sausage. The main dishes change everyday, so we cant easily get bored. They serve the foods hot n fresh from the kitchen. Every time we go in to the hotel restaurant, they always give a warmth welcome and with a smile. Boonsiri Place Bangkok Hotel is situated at the center of Bangkok. From here we can visit other famous places on foot, like The Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, and the famous street Khaosan Road. That's the reason i choose this hotel. Great location and delicious breakfast. Last but not least, they got free wi-fi in every room.

Boonsiri Place 24/11 - 30/11/2009”
Boonsiri Place is well located between Chinatown; the Old City; National Museum and Royal Palaces, or similar all about 5-10 minutes to walk to. The hotel is quite modern and has some eco-friendly principles e.g. the room key is put in a holder and when removed, switches off everything electrical in your room. Plus, you can re-use towels etc if you wish. Rooms have all mod-cons and a 'mini-bar' with free water (daily) but you can put the snacks provided on your bill. In general, the hotel is good value for money and with everything on offer, you can easily 'forgive' the views - mainly local buildings but some street life adds to the 'colour' especially at night. This hotel is in an area of 'old city' which is probably a truer representation of Bangkok and how it has developed from 'old city' style in modern times. If you like a more historical context for your stay; then the distance from the nearest skytrain or metro stops should not out you off. In any case, a fast walk of about 25-35 minutes will get you to the rail / metro stations anyway, which is more than compensated for by the location.

Boonsiri Place Hotel, Bangkok”
Had a very nice stay in Boonsiri Place Hotel, Bangkok. The rooms were spacious, well decorated and very clean. Good bathroom & balcony. A/c was a welcome relief after a hard day shopping. The buffet breakfast also went down a storm. The staff were very friendly (esp as we checked in at 4am in the morning!). The only recommendation I would make is that the map which the hotel website provides is printed out in English AND Thai, as our poor taxi driver had no idea of where to go & we got a bit lost. Overall, a very good experience & I would stay there again.

Excellent stay”
I enjoyed my stay at Boonsiri. It was a little tricky to find, the taxi, following GPS, dropped me off about 500m south of the hotel, but some local Thai we quick to help and point me in the right direction. The hotel is situated in a safe and friendly working class Thai neighborhood, but within easy walking distance from Grand Palace, Wat Arun and Khao San Road. The included buffet breakfast was better than average in this price range. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Wifi worked well and was reasonably fast. The hotel is older and has no elevator, but is clean and well maintained, rooms are large and comfortable. My only minor gripes would be it's a bit noisy from scooters if you get a room facing the road in front, this didn't prevent me from getting a good rest but if you're a light sleeper it might. And a refrigerator in the room would be nice, but I managed without. Also the safe is not in your room, it is behind the front desk, I left cash in it and didn't have any issues. Overall I really liked Boonsiri, I would stay here again and would recommend it as a budget option near Grand Palace for people who don't want the all-night party atmosphere of Khao San Road.

Perfect location, good price and nice room”
We stayed at Boonsiri Place in Bangkok only for 1 night in September 2012, but it made an impression of a very convenience place to stay. Just 10 minutes walking to Great Palace of Khao San road, 2 minutes to nice massage salons and the 7-eleven on a corner of the same building. They also surved an american brekfast set free of charge and it was nice. The hotel can also keep your luggage for a day for free. Though, the wifi service has its limitations: not more than three devices can be registered for one room. That was not very convenient because we had 5 devices needed to be online.

Boonsiri Place is the place to stay in Bangkok!”
I stayed times at Boonsiri two times within one month of travel in Thailand. My total stay at Boonsiri was 6 days. Both times were wonderful. The Boonsiri's location is in easy walking or Tuck Tuck distance of the Grand Palace, Wat Phro or the water bus that takes you to Wat Arun plus many other sites in the Old City. The staff at Boonsiri always made me feel at home by helping me with whatever question I had. The internet in the room was strong. My 2nd stay the internet was not working. When I alerted the staff to this they quickly fixed it and the connection was strong and constant. Also, the Boonsiri offers a delicious breakfast with eggs, noodles, fruits, salad, juice, coffee, tea and more. I highly recommend Boonsiri Place to everyone.

Nice hotel in a good location”
At Boonsiri Place we had a nice room with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The hotel staff were helpful with directions for attractions and restaurant recommendations. They followed through with our early morning wake up call and taxi reservation. We did not have the breakfast as we checked out early for a flight.

Good price, questionable neighbourhood...”
We stayed at boonsiri for a few days.the rooms were clean and decent. for people who are on a budget but want to stay at a hotel still.. this is a good budget hotel for you.the neighbourhood is a bit shady though. you are literally in the heart of the locals. during the day is okay but in the evenings there are questionable people walking and hanging out around the neighbourhood and near the hotel.they didnt bother me but for others it might not be the first choice in hotels.especially for family's or anyone who wants a nice place and neighbourhood.for everyone else who is adventurous, wanna save money, and not too worried about that... this hotel is a close walk to the grand palace and khaosan road.i emailed the hotel for directions in thai before and printed that off to show to the cab driver.that helped a little bit.. but that would probably be your best bet and taking down the hotel number in case he gets lost!

Cozy and Convenient”
We have stayed at Boonsiri Place before and returned there because it is an affordable and convenient place in Bangkok, which is also near some national tourism sites such as the museum and Thammasat University. The famous Khao Sarn Road and the Sanam Luang Commons are only a short walk away. The room was clean and everything in the bathroom worked. The night scene is not getting any better with all around but they mind their own business and it is quite safe. The staff was very helpful with directions and taxis. We will probably stay there again and again.

good hotel in a nice location”
Boonsiri Hotel is located near the major historical and cultural landmarks in Bangkok. I like the fact that it is in a quiet neighborhood but close enough to Khao San Road, where the nightlife is. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The rooms are cleaned every day and the decor is very relaxing.

comfotable and convenient during our staying here”
Boonsiri is close to many scenic spots like the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Phra Keaw, Khao San Road and so on, which all are in minutes walk. Whereas, it's not located right on Khao Shan Rd. So it seems perfect to enjoy the convenient to go sight-seeing as well as have a nice dream at night. The canteen beside hotel is lovable. Although food varieties is not rich, buffet is a nice choice. Painting on the room's wall is somewhat Thai genre and the balcony is helpful to dry clothes. Yet airport tranfer sevice is not available. We spend 450B taking a taxi from the airport to the hotel. The two girls in the receptionist are kind as well.

Great Location, Spacious room, less than average breakfast”
Boonsiri Place Hotel has a gret location, it is really close to all must-see sightseeing places in Bangkok and also only a 10 minute walk to Khaosan Road. The room is spacious and has everything you need. The bathroom is okay as well. Only minus is the breakfast. It comes in buffet form but has very little variety. The staff as always been very helpful and friendly and for a few nights it's a completely fine place to stay.

Clean, Beautiful, best value!”
This hotel is heaven! Once we found it (it's in an ideal location off a few major roads - unfortunately taxis don't know this particular street), it was a wonderful stay. The rooms were so clean that I still dream about the wonderful detergent smell. Our room had a balcony (although we didn't have much of a view). The front staff was eager to help and booked our tours. This place looks and feels modern. We were very close to the Grand Palace and Kao San Rd. Great price too! Also, you feel like you're really in Bangkok and not in Western tourist hell - I saw a street vendor with bugs for sale.

great location to visit the Wats and Grand Palace”
As earlier reviews indicate, staying at Boonsiri Place gives you a very local feel. It's true. The rooms are adequate for the price, clean, large and comfortable. Could have used a little more space to unpack my things. The best part was how easy it was to get to the Wats and the Grand Palace. It was a little more complicated to get to the main shopping areas and Sukhamvit. The breakfast was limited. I found a great very new restaurant around the corner with a good latte.

Boonsiri Place Review”
I loved this hotel. It was clean, in a quiet neighborhood and the staff were wonderful. I loved the decor. I would stay there again in a minute! It is indeed walking distance from the old town sights (albeit a bit of along walk to some). You can walk to the Night market and come home without worrying about Taxis or Tuktuks. The staff helped with prepackaged tours, but some were more expensive through the hotel than through the local tourists agent places and some about the same price. It is hard to find (even with a map) and there are no subway lines nearby - although the staff can help you find the right bus to take to get to other parts of town. The neighborhood is poor, but I did not feel in danger as a single woman. The breakfast is not spectacular, but it is all you can eat and the dining area and gallery next to it are marvelous in terms of ambiance. Not much choice in TV channels, but who needs TV when Bangkok is out your front door.

Great value for price”
we were very happy with boonsiri, recommended! pro's: friendly service, clean rooms, spacious room and bathroom. con's: situated near khaosan road and grand palace, theres no public transportation (but taxis are cheap). modern centre of bangkok is a bit far away.

Comfortable, value for money”
Room was huge! Breakfast was okay. Few choices (cereals, fruits, bread, chicken sausage, eggs, pasta or rice) but it's fair for the room rates they have. The pastas they serve at breakfast are my favorite. Staff are helpful and understand basic English. They also have a tourist map of the Khaosan/ Grand Palace area but not a very detailed map, you can get lost if you don't ask around. The area is quite hidden but easy to walk to Khaosan even if it's late at night. There's a 7-11 nextdoor also. My only issue was our room was not made up in the three nights we stayed. This is despite putting the 'please makeup room' sign. My friend who had her own room said she never used the sign but would come home and her room was always made up. My guess is the staff didn't understand what was written on it. They just assumed that as long as there's a sign, you do not touch the room. Not really a deal breaker but it would've been so much better if the trash got emptied at least once. Hotel isn't as near to Grand Palace as I originally thought. It's still walkable though, if you can bear the heat. It would be great to take a tuktuk but they charge a hundred baht for it (rate for locals is 20 baht). I suggest finding a tuktuk driver who wouldn't charge you over 50 baht. Or just bring an umbrella and walk.

Great Hotel unfortunately outside not comfort”
I was satisfied to stay at the hotel where comfortable Boonsiri place maid friendly, unfortunately outside the hotel a lot of lady boys and girls lady. During my stay the heck aman2 only. It could be an alternative for stay when visiting bangkok again.
