Good to stay”
We arrived for the first at Siem reap, the hotel was nice with lift & small pool, the staff was helpfull and they have a good english to inform you all information related with their tourist destination
Very Comfortable Stay”
Very friendly, polite and helpful staffs. Beds are comfortable, with 3 pillows provided. Location is ok, quiet at night time, about 15 minutes walk to the night market. Overall very comfortable stay here and recommended.
affordable and good location..
We were two friends looking for a nice but cheap hotel in Siem Reap. This one was beyond our expectations. Super cheap, and it was really comfortable! Unluckily by mistake we did not book with the breakfast included. Great experience!!
The staff are very helpful and polite. This hotel is a good base to stay whilst visiting all the tourist attractions and pub street is a short tuk-tuk ride away. Booking trips and shows at the reception is easy and the prices have not been inflated.
Bathroom Sink backed up but Air-Conditionioning was the best in four (4) weeks~!!!”
This stay offered a large room with a balcony on an upper floor. The elevator that only goes to the fourth floor leaves you to walk up stairs the last flight. The room was clean with a separate bathtub and shower, yet the sink would drain really slow. When I told the housekeeping staff they just thought this was acceptable. The front desk however did send a plumber on day two to repair this. The Air-Conditioner was much better than any other stay I have had on this six week vacation. I was very happy. Housekeeping staff would come in and make the bed but not bring fresh towels unless I requested them; same for the soap, shampoo, toothbrush and comb. They were very responsive when asked. The front desk was very helpful daily with directions and transportation questions and needs. One problem was a full day of the elevator not working, so every guest was left to walk the stairs. For those over 60 yrs. had difficulty getting up five flights of stairs. Breakfast not worth the price.
Just a couple of blocks away from main street of Siem Reap. Large comfortable room, nice breakfast. Staff were always available and attentive, they were able to rectify room change and airport transfer after miscommuncation with owner.
Not in the city center but nice”
We had to walk or be picked up by a van to check out the tourist areas so location was not great. Overall hotel is perfect!
It was a good stay.”
(+) The night staff was very accommodating. They made up our beds and cleaned the bathroom which is great! They gave us drink when we arrived which is also great. (-) The morning staff however did not inform us that the driver from our pick up to the bus terminal was there and left when she could not reach us using the telephone. I don’t think their telephone works because it did not ring at all. It resulted us taking a tuktuk to the bus terminal and paying extra $2! That made our morning sucked. The air conditioner was very hard to operate (on/off) and it was not that cold and we set it to 16degrees.
Exceptionally helpful staff. They even messaged the moment we made the booking (which was about a month in advance) to arrange for a free shuttle to get us from the bus station. Following that, we hired the same tuk-tuk driver to drive us around the whole time that we were at Siem Reap. The pool was amazing - we enjoyed just dipping in there after a whole day out. Location is great, as it's within walking distance to Pub Street, but far out that it is quiet and nice. Highly recommended!
Great hotel and excellent value for money. The staff couldn’t be kinder and we had their wonderful tuk tuk driver Mr Touk who was happy and always helpful. He went out of his way to show us round and was utterly overwhelmed when we gave him a nice tip. Very clean the pool is good and in a great location. Avoid the awful Pub Street and immerse yourself in the street food stalls and local places. Such friendly open people and Siem Reap is a charming city with lots to offer. Spend money with the locals where possible and read up on the situation with Ream national park and Chinese development. Cambodia is such a wonderful country and deserves our support.
Lovely stay at Bopha Pollen”
Rooms are nice and well air-conditioned, the staff was very helpful taking very good care of us. would recommend to anyone. The pool, while small, is exactly what you need on an afternoon in Siem Reap.
Friendly and hospitable staff”
Friendly and hospitable staff
The staff was nice enough, the location is close to food and shopping. The room was filthy. The floor had dirty grit on it and the sheets were soiled, pillow smelled like someone else’s sweat. I wondered if they were even clean sheets. The bathroom was moldy. When I asked them to clean the room they said housekeeping was gone for the day and couldn’t do anything. So I requested to change rooms, which they did. Second room was the same: soiled sheets, ragged towels, moldy bathroom and stains on the chair cushion. Gross. Would not recommend this hotel.
Good value for the money, I had a "budget" room, more included than in the advertising. I got airport pick-up, room have also a ref, free water bottles and free coffee, TV. Also bathtube w hot water and very quiet room. Also a safe in the room. Nice helpful staff in reception, but I did not try their breakfast. They also have a little swimming pool. Near to restaurants, tour agencies, convenience stores and Lucky mall. I felt safe walk around in the area, even at night. Robert
The towels were well worn and thread bare , were showing age, they should be replaced . Quiet hotel. The air conditioner worked well. Short ride everywhere as it was central location. Being in the hospitality industry serving lots of overseas tourists, the kitchen staff serving breakfast should take a course learning English as they were having a hard time understanding us. The receptionist staff had excellent English and were helpful in arranging for our tuk tuk rides.
One of the better choices I have made”
The place is relatively new and situated a few blocks away from the main road, so you are guaranteed peace and quiet. The facilities like the pool is a good addition to combat the heat in Cambodia. Our only complaint is the dusty floor in both our rooms and we are in serious want of soap. We were asked to stay a night at Okay 1 hotel as, according to the receptionist, our rooms were under maintenance. That night in Okay 1 was terrible. Bad air-conditioning and dirty bathroom. Once shifted back to Bopha Pollen, all is well. Worth your money and time.
Good stay if you do not expect facilities”
Location not bad, could reach the main Street and market by walk. You can rent a electric scooter not too far down the road. Staffs are nice. But facilities are abit outdated. The safe in my room was not working by the end can't fixed. However it's still a good stay with fair price
Simply Wonderful! ”
The staff was absolutely wonderful! They helped me arranged for a last minute pick up from the bus terminal to the hotel. I had asked them to have the tuk tuk driver pick me up at 6:30am, but the bus arrived fifteen minutes early. At that point, since I had no internet or phone access I would have to wait unless I hire another tuk tuk driver. As soon as I walked outside the bus terminal, the hotel’s tuk tuk driver was already waiting while holding up a sign with my name on it. When I arrived at the hotel, the front desk staff checked to see if they had a room available. I stayed in a room with two twin sized beds. The room was clean and the towels smelled fresh as well. Simply put, I couldn’t be more pleased with their service.
Very average. Despite two emails to try and arrange the airport pickup advertised when we booked we never heard back so we organised alternative transport. Not knowing the hotel had sent a tuk tuk we went with with the driver who had a sign with our band thinking this was the person we had organised ourself only to find out is was a hotel tuk tuk. We then had no way to contact the driver we had arranged until we got to the hotel which was far from ideal. Upon arrival we were told the connecting rooms we had booked a long time ago and paid for were not available as the previous guest was staying another night. We were given no option but to accept this which was very disappointing. I ended up sleeping in a room with my daughter and my husband slept in another room. The next day after leaving at 4:30am to see Angkor Wat sunrise ( and having to repackage all of our belongings so they could go in our booked rooms) we returned at 11:40am to be told that our rooms were not ready. By this time we were most unhappy. After moving on from all of this we found everything about this place average. The linen had stains. Bath mats had holes. A massive pile of linen and towels stayed outside on our floor for a whole day. Breakfast was average- our table had wee insects all over it. This was the most disappointing Agoda booking of our 4 weeks of travel in Vietnam and Cambodia.
