Worth it! ”

We booked their standard room for our 2 nights stay at Boracay, and we were satisfied. Location-wise, we recommend Boracay Backpackers to those who would want to be close to the beach sans the skyrocekting rates of beachfront hotels. It took us just a minute to reach Station 1 beachfront, and also a minute going back to the main road. Do not underestimate their free breakfast, too! 2 pieces of bread, an egg, butter, jam and a hot cup of (unli) coffee really prepped us for two mornings. The room was spacious -- a queen sized bed, a side table, and a flat screen TV. There were limited channels, but who cares? We did not go to Boracay just to watch TV lol. The in-room bathroom was surprisingly spacious too, complete with heater, toiletries, and towels. Their staff are friendly and approachable, too. We only expected that there will be an open bar since we went there on a weekend, and the ambiance of their garden/gazebo/lobby was so inviting. Land transfer services and groups who handle beach activities are familiar with Boracay Backpackers, so you'll be at ease that they can fetch you right at the lobby. Also, we were happy that they are an eco-friendly hostel. They have light sensors to save energy, and a few reminders posted to save water usage. We will definitely book our next stay with them!

Amazing. Would definitely stay here again.”

Boracay backpackers was the by far the best hostel we had stayed in during our time travelling around the Philippines. The garden/hang out area was great and had a nice chilled out atmosphere. There was a bar where you could purchase drinks and the music was great. The room itself was very clean and very comfortable (I am a clean freak too). The breakfast was simple yet so tasty! I had poached eggs every morning and it was so yummy. Best breakfast I've had whilst travelling. The staff were friendly and helpful, it was also nice that the hostel had its own security guard. To top it off it is located about a 1 minute walk to the beach where there is lots going on. Also the puppy that hangs out in the garden is super cute!! I absolutely loved boracay backpackers!!!!!!! Could not fault it.

Hidden Gem”

This small hotel is home to backpackers, couples and groups. It has a homey feel to it and is always very clean. It is strategically located 300m from the beach and a 2-3 minute walk is always worth it because it keeps you away from the ever alive night life of Boracay yet is not far from everything “must-see” in the area. It’s around 5-7 mins from d-mall where food and shops are, 5 minutes away from the most quiet and calm part of the beach in the far side of Station 1. It is very accessible to the e-trike towards the main road than passes through the whole stretch of Boracay beaches. The staff are accommodating and pleasant. Our room is decent with a big and spa-like bathroom. I would definitely book here again! Additional breakfast options would be great.

Absolutely amazing!!!”

Boracay Backpackers is not just a hostel, it truly becomes home - all thanks to its amazing staff. Three of us stayed there 6 nights starting from the NYE, did not want to leave 😭 Everyone here is just wonderful. We would definitely love to go back one day. Communal area outside is so cool - sofas to chill and a pool table. Food is really delicious, especially mango pancakes! 🤤 We also did their booze cruise which was so much fun! The location is perfect!! White Beach is a minute-walk, Bulabog beach is 10 min away on foot. Restaurants, clubs, Mad Monkey and Frendz with their crazy parties are all nearby, but when you come back, Backpackers truly let you restore your energy levels in a friendly chilled environment 😇 A huge thank you and greetings to everyone at Boracay Backpackers 💋 Elena, Konrad, Zoltan From 🇬🇧 with ❤️

Great deal for an inexpensive price! ”

Our overall experience was beyond what we initially expected! Although it was not a beachfront accommodation, the location was strategic enough to be a 2-minute walk from the beach and the main road. You might need a help or a guide, though, in going to the place since it might be a bit tricky to find if you are new to the area. (TIP: Ask to be dropped off at Crown Regency Prince Resort 24/7. Across it is an alley where you'll find LSM square. Just go straight into the alley and ask where Boaracay Backpackers is.) We booked a dorm type room for 4 and it was exceptionally clean and surprisingly comfortable considering the price. At the lobby area, there is a lounging place where you can play billiards or just simply hangout. They offer food and drinks but you can also buy/bring your own food without any fee at all. However, they restrict bringing alcoholic beverages bought outside. I'll surely comeback and stay again at Boracay Backpackers on my next beach trip to the island!

Value for money and good location!”

I had a good stay in this hostel, a very good sleep and the room is very comfortable to stay with knowing the fact that we are 8 mixed people in the room. The restroom inside was also very clean and they have someone cleaning our rooms everyday. Kudos to that! I also love the bar! Especially the exclusive happy hour promo for the inhouse guests, it eased the fact that I got a little bit annoyed because boracay pubcrawl has been cancelled during my stay. The cons that I would like to say and hoping that it would somehow bring change is the way how the kitchen guy handle guests asking for hot water. We felt like it is a sin to ask for hot water and bring our own coffee, milo and cup noodles, which is not available for sale on our hostel. So I dont see anything wrong asking for a hot water. But overall, I love the place! The hostel is very close to the beach, to the mall and to Starbucks. I love it! Thank you for the wonderful stay, Boracay Backpackers!

I’M COMING BACK HERE ”

It was a last minute booking and I am happy to get a cheaper deal for this shared room accomodation. Excellent: 1. Room is clean and cery comfortable despite staying with total strangers. 2. Happy to have a hot and cold shower. 3. Very quiet and the room ac works perfectly. 4. The complimentary iced tea was so refreshing since I arrived mid-day 5. They have 2 extra toilet and shower outside the rooms (good especially if your roommate takes time in using the T/B) Areas to improve: 1. DIRECTION (they are a bit difficult to locate :( there is not much signage knowing their location is not on the main road. They are situated in between properties. I asked them how to get there but the only information I get is to get off at 24/7 or in crown regency. So for me crown is the easiest landmark only to find out that there are I think 3 crown regency in Boracay. Being not so familiar with Boracay, I got off the trike at Crown Station 3 instead of station 1. In short I got lost and have to take another trike to the right stop. When I got off I walked inside a pathway using google map but still can’t locate the place. I got pissed off already because it was mid-day and very hot and I’ve been sweating alot. I guess I made a 5 back and forth in that area before I was able to locate them... i tell you I’ve been asking some locals for direction, and most of them are bit familiar of the place. Then my roommate also had the same problem, his was worst he even reached as far a Paraw! Anyway, I was able to locate them. Happy to get a complimentary iced tea!) 2. TOWELS (yes it’s not included in what I paid unless you booked a standard room! I mean come on! Towel is very essential especially you’re in the beach! You have to pay at PhP50/towel. No choice. I took two, one to be used in the beach and the other after shower. And sadly you have to “PAY AGAIN” if you want to change your towels. Please provide at least one/guest and if they ask for another, they maybe that’s the time you as

Best in Boracay”

This is definitely the best backpackers hotel in Boracay. When I arrived, all the requests I had written through Agoda were noted and done, they even had my name printed on and placed on my desired bunk. The restrooms are clean, the staff are friendly (kudos to the FO Carol), the sheets smell good and are new. And though the wifi signal couldnt reach my room, wifi signal in the main lobby is very good so it compensates. They are the cheapest in the island but they offer breakfast and that's makes them a cut above the rest. The common area is green and well-kept. I am a very happy customer and I am definitely coming back and spreading the good word. :) -Keith (FatFlyFridays.com)

Excellent location!”

This budget accommodation is close to everything! It is specifically located in Station 1, near Astoria and D Mall. The staff (specially the manager Glory) were friendly, courteous, and accommodating. There were no noise or problems at all despite its close proximity to Station 2. Since Boracay Backpackers just started the business a month ago, there are still room for improvement. But in a nutshell, my friend and I had a very nice stay! Kai, the resident siberian husky, is very cute!

The place for you if you want a warm welcome to Boracay. Close to the beach, clean and good facility”

I can say many great things about Boracay Backpackers, but the amazing staff that run the hostel are what makes this place something special. I stayed only two nights, but when I return to Boracay I know this is where I will go back. The facilities are nice with comfortable rooms and beds. Everything was clean. There is a cozy courtyard at the hostel where you can chill and hang out with friends and the owners who are super fun and friendly. All in all, fantastic service where the staff go out of their way to make your stay as good as they possibly can.

I stayed in Boracay Backpackers overnight because I wanted to have an easier access to the beach without spending too much. It is a rather quaint place compared to other Boracay hostels. I love how clean the rooms and the common area were, though i wish the rooms were bigger (or probably I was assigned in the smallest one). + Nice hostel Cheap price (got it for 390php+ only during Agoda Sale) Nice shared bathroom inside the room Has a mini bar Locker for safety Friendly staff - You have to rent a towel for 50php Deposit for 200 for the key (malapit ko na makalimutan to ha, inferness) Corkage for drinks and food Cooking fee for 100php min - depends on how many you are going to cook Has a mini bar but not really a bar I guess You have to outside to buy your food or if -youre from the central dmall then you can get -your food from there. Typical not so expensive inn but is all good for a low price. Restrooms and shower rooms not a problem at all. No prob with water. Has restrooms outside too. Location a bit off. Not on the beach front but is a 2-3 min walk to the beach. Ask the staffs for the shortcut. Instructions to go to this place :::::: ride a tricycle from port and tell the driver to drop you off 24/7. They'd know where yo drop you and use your googlemaps as well. From there, look for a palawan pawnshop accross the street and go walk until you see a carinderia. Follow the arrows and signages to get to Boracay Backpackers. 😊

Best budget hotel in Boracay”

I wish I knew about them earlier. I used to stay at Eriko’s and back hotel of Alice, they called it Alice 2. Alice 2 no longer exists. Boracay backpackers is the epitome of budget hotel, great location, great rooms. Staff are nice. They also answer the phone number you can find online unlike other hotels that you can’t reach.

Please provide electric outlet or extension for upper deck. ”

This is my honest review about Boracay Backpackers. First, I would like to thank the staff for they accommodated me pleasantly during my first day check inn. They provided me everything I need to know about the house rules, including what are prohibitions in the beach area as they follow the ordinance issued to every establishments. Staff are nice, friendly, and helpful. The place where I stayed was neat and clean. My only concern is they should have provided electric outlet or extension for guests who are positioned in the upper deck, since they're also paying the same amount with guests on the lower deck. If you are on the lower area you'll get advantage for the outlet since it is very close on their bed. Anyhow, I would say that this place is good for solo traveler. Thank you!

The best hostel for me in Boracay!”

This is my 3rd time I checked-in to this hostel and it does not disappoint me. Ate Jance, who is a part-owner of the place, was very welcoming to her guests and she even recognized and greeted me immediately the moment we entered the premises. What I like most of staying at backpackers is the hospitality of the management. There are lots of nice and big hostels in Boracay and though the place is quite simple, it’s definitely worth returning. Great stay and worth the value of money. I will definitely come back. Thank you Ate Janice and staff for the nice accommodation! More power to you guys!❤️

an amazing little hostel. top”

this small hostel is very beautiful. everything super clean, new equipped. just opened 1 year ago. there is a nice relaxing sunny garden place with big tables for the included breakfast. not a big selection but good for a morning start with eggs any style, toast and coffee. nothing to complain. would be nice to have a little table in the bunk bed room fur packing and a hanging clip in the "hotel like" bathroom. friendly staff and you can buy drinks from a fridge fur cheap money. Hostel on Boracay? This one. I could not believe. little comment: I'm afraid in the future the garden will be not so beautiful anymore cause they are building a second floor and then the sunlight is gone.

INCONSIDERATE GUESTS (SOME) AND STAFFS (SOME)”

The hostel is perfect with its price which is budget friendly and it's just near the white beach of Boracay. But, during my stay, I had a hard time taking some rest because some of the staffs were talking so loud in the hallway that echoes all over the hostel. To the staffs of Boracay Backpackers, please watch out also for some inconsiderate guests who just let their kids run, play and shout along the hallway. The noise was terrible and ruined other guests' sleep.

Unexpectedly Excellent”

We stayed here for holiday, we were’t expecting so much from Boracay Backpackers, coz of its very cheap considering it in a good location. But when we arrived, it was amazing. It was relaxing and quiet. Our room has no window though, nevertheless it was all good. I would definitely recommend this.

Little quiet haven in the middle of the busy island!”

Really clean and quiet place in the middle of the busy island of Boracay. The staff are always smiling and friendly. You don't hear anything at night so you get a good night's rest and the beds are comfortable and big enough. Great place to stay in Boracay, highly recommended!

Staff are amazing. Rooms are new and extremely clean. Location is perfect.

Absolutely amazing new hostel!! Everything is new and spotless. Location is great and staff couldn't be better. The hostel has a great outdoor bar and common area. It is set up perfectly for meeting new travelling friends. Do yourself a favour and book at Boracay Backpackers.
