          a UNIQUE serenity in Boracay”

Superb location in natural setting, Scrumptious and copious food, friendly host and staff

Superb location: It is on the east side of the island on the hill adjacent to the Mt Luho, which is the highest point of the island. The view is breathtaking! I was lucky to try the whole premise of Casitas 2! Highly recommend to stay on the Level 2 of Casitas 2 where you can enjoy the panoramic view over the scenic Bulabog Beach! The pictures (the view and the rooms) you saw from their sites are not deceptive, I can tell it is a good surprise, out of my expectation! It’s not far at all from other must-visit attractions! Only 10 mins to reach the front white sand beach by walk, D mall 15 mins. If you take a tuk tuk, it ll be only 5 mins! Scrumptious food: If you are worried for those all-u-can-eat buffet breakfast choice, their tailor made breakfast will satisfy your stomach and your eyes! The presentation of breakfast is very delicate and the portion is copious! Hospitable host and friendly staff: The host, Patricia, is very cordial towards guests. Her thoughtfulness and hospitality make you feel very homey and warm. She is very friendly to share her stories in this private home and gives all the suggestions for your hassle-free journey. Needless to say, the staff are very helpful and friendly, always with smile:) There is a 24-hour guard that keeps you feel secured. A GEM for photo enthusiast: If you are a photo enthusiast like me, you will be surprised by staying in this private home. Why? You can take the sunrise shoots (EVERYDAY) directly from the room! As the time I stayed was mid June, I experienced the lightning, thunderstorm, clear sunny day, starry night and tranquil sunrise, all those were happening within one short trip just from the view effortlessly! If you stay on level 2, you will see the starry night without the light pollution from the front beach. One thing, don’t forget to bring your tripod! My next time, I hope to take a shoot of a fullmoon rise! Oh yes, as said, their food presentation is highly “instagramtable!”

clean, fantastic service, with an amazing view

My partner and I have done a fair bit of traveling within Asia and have to admit that the service we received in Casitas has been the best by far. The welcome/good night message written on leaves, fresh fruit grown from the property, and the daily fresh flowers added to an unforgettable experience. As the name states, the accommodation is set in Bulabog mountain, and away from the hustle and bustle of white beach, which suited our needs. It's a short 10 minute ride by tricycle (expect to pay P75) and about a 25 minute walk to white beach. If you want to be central and amongst the hectic surrounds of white beach then this place is not for you. However if you want unsurpassed views, natural surrounds, and amazing service then look no where else in Boracay. We stayed in Casitas 2 with the loft, and a balcony with the 180 degree view of Bulabog beach and parts of white beach. The walk up the stairs will not suit families with small children, however we did'nt mind the walk after a long day of eating and indulging in the many restaurants in Boracay. Pat and her team were more than happy to help with all our queries, and upon our request, prepared a fresh seafood dinner in our room. We will never forget this place, and if I had my way I’d keep Casitas a secret. That way I can make sure it’s not fully booked next time I’m around, and it remains magical and serene.

Quiet little place up the hill”

Ocean views, cooling breeze, and star gazing at night

The casitas offer a nice respite from the maddening crowds of white beach, up a hill that offers amazing ocean views of bulabog beach and the rest of the island. Casitas 2 Level 2 was huge, with an attic that could sleep 2 more people. Staff were attentive too, and asked if we liked the breakfast after noticing unfinished food. At this price and with such amazing views, it is good value for money. Lots of cable channels to choose from, so don't be afraid you'd be bored here. At night, hang out by the huge terrace and gaze at the stars and the milky way. Little touches such as the flowers during breakfast, and sweet little good night note on the bed make the experience extra sweet. The casitas offer everything you might need for a long stay, with a fully-equipped kitchen should you want to stay in and cook up a meal. You can buy ingredients from the local stores downhill. The flowers blooming all around the property lit up my heart every morning. Not forgetting the house dogs who would sleep on the terrace and send us off each day, plus welcome us back 'home' each night. It is a short 10-minute walk downhill to the main road and white beach, but do take note that most trike drivers don't know about the place. Just tell them up the hill at bulabog beach. Alas, we arrived on a late flight, and it was past 10pm when we reached the road outside the casitas. With no lights whatsoever, we went up 3 different forked paths and could not find the place. We finally called the hotel, who sent their security guard down to fetch us. Do try to reach there when it's still light, or call the hotel beforehand to make sure they are there to guide you from the main road. All in all, I will miss this place for its privacy, amazing views, and warm staff who pay attention to the little details to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rest of the island is another matter altogether. To avoid the crowds, try to make a trip to Puka beach up north.

Gorgeous hotel with an amazing view”

Walking distance from the beaches, friendly staff, clean, gorgeous view, peaceful, would stay again

At the port, the tricyclist didn't know where the hotel was was, but he asked someone else, and we went on our way. When we arrived, there was a whiteboard sign with my name on it, so I instantly knew we were at the right place. Someone was already at the bottom of hill and walked up there with us. There is a little path to walk up, but the fantastic landscaping just makes it so enjoyable. When we arrived at the villa area, hotel staff met us with yummy drinks and showed us our place, then asked us about our dinner and breakfast plans. The villa was gorgeous; It was really open in the inside. the wall facing the beach was all windowdoors, so we could see the ocean from almost every part of the first floor, even the bedroom. The view was fantastic. You can see both beaches from the balcony and the sunrise. It was immaculately clean and bugs were not a problem. It was also really quiet and peaceful all the time. At the top of the hill, our villa was completely private, and if we needed anything, you could just take a short walk down and a staff member would spot us and help us right away. With the staff always there and happy to serve, we always felt safe and comfortable. We tried the dinner and the breakfast, and both were delicious and served fresh in our dining room. The location was great. It was about a 5 minute walk from our villa to Bulabog Beach, and about 15 minutes to White Beach. The manager was so nice to give us directions and a flashlight for walking around at night. Casitas was exceptional because they paid excellent attention to detail, from the beautiful flowers that decorated the villa, the gorgeous landscaping, to the kind, caring hotel staff. You'll never want to leave your villa! We'd love to stay here again.

          Quiet, Private, Views, Attentive Service

Tucked away in the hillside above Bulabog Beach, this private one-bedroom casita was the perfect quiet getaway. Still only a short "trike" ride away from the hustle & bustle of D Mall & White Beach, we were still able to take in all the other popular tourist activities & restaurants if we wanted. Lastly, the personal attentive service provided was as if we had our own private resort all to ourselves. Every morning breakfast was served in our own casita, overlooking the beautiful bay below. Not only would I highly recommend staying here, but the next time I visit Boracay, I will surely stay here again.

          Service, location, and food

mt casitas was a perfect option for us when taking a trip to boracay in search of privacy and unspoilt views of the beach and ocean. we stayed on the 2nd floor of casitas 2 apartment and spent most days relaxing on the privacy of the balcony. the food served by the staff was the best we had compared to any other restaurant on the island. fresh and full of flavors. there is a long walk up the side of the hill to the hotel but completely worth it when you get away from the tourist crowds on white beach. i would highly recommend this boracay getaway!

          Room View

We stayed at Casitas for 2 nights in the first week of March and the stay at Casitas was the highlight of our trip. The villas are huge, felt like we were living in a forest villa with a beautiful sea view! Casitas is on the Bulabog side of Boracay, which is the quieter part of Boracay (the other side being White beach). Special mention about the owner Pat, who helped us with our activities, and Sheila, our villa's cook-cum-caretaker who always greeted us with a friendly smile. We recommend this place!

          Sea view, quiet location, villa

First time in Boracay and celebrating anniversary there. We were looking for a place which would be the most romantic and quiet possible. White beach is just too noisy. This is the perfect location. Walking distance is just about 15-20 min to the main attractions. The slope is steep to get to the villa but what a good exercise. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy both the amazing beaches of Boracay and a private villa to stay at night watching the sun sets, the moon, the stars... Casita 2 level 2 has the most breathtaking view... Enjoy !

Private villa cut into the hill above the beach ”

          Exclusivity, Nature, Quiet

My wife and I stayed at this exclusive villa (there are only three villas at Casitas Villa, so it is definitely private) on the last legs of our Boracay trip and we regretted not staying for longer. The villas are cut into a hillside that requires a little bit of a trek to get to. As city dwellers, it provided a little challenge, I must admit. But with the hard work comes a rewarding view of the bay where colourful sail catamarans, parasailors, jetskiiers, kiteboarders frolic. Pat, the friendly proprietess, said the area comes alive in the Dec-Feb period where kiteboarders take to the waves (and the sky) in competition. The cosy cottage comes with a living/rest area with a viewing balcony, a quiet bedroom with a window that opens out to the balcony and a clean bathroom. Just beside our villa was a large rest hut that was the closest I'd ever come to living in a treehouse (a personal dream of mine). The Balinese-styled hut offered us a place to have breakfasts with a view of the bay, tea and also for a private massage. Getting kneaded while a sprinkling of rain tapped on the foliage-lined roof was an experience I'd recommend for all city dwellers or rest-hunters. While Casitas stayed hidden from prying eyes, it is also just a short walk away from D'Mall, Boracay's hive of shopping and dining. While touts cajole you to try their seasports at the beach, lined with swanky hotels, just down from Casitas, you can opt to walk (about 10-minutes) to the beach at Boat Station 2 and 1 (where D'Mall is) which I felt was nicer. As budget travellers, Casitas' price range was a little steep but the view from the villa we stayed in was worth it.

          Boracay's best kept secret”

lovely little villa thats on a private hill, very romantic and unique spot, staff's service was great and friendly

we stayed at casita 2, lower floor, which is a bit smaller than the upper floor. although if i were to come back to boracay, i would choose the upper floor of casita 2. casita 2 is the highest villa among the three and the upper level has a deck that offers amazing panorama view of the beach and water. you can even see white beach from there. the lower floor view is also great but the vegetation partially blocks a bit. the environment is really one of a kind. we really felt like we were the only ones staying at the hilltop. we had our breakfast at our private gazebo overlooking the ocean. we also had a private massage there as well, listening to the waves and listening to the birds and bugs chirping was very serene. the staff's service was super friendly but yet unobtrusive. you are out in the nature tho, so do bring a lot of bug repellents.

          Location, accomodation, gardens

Initially found this place in March 2011 after seeing it was voted number 1 at another travel forum....so my fiance and I spent 5 nights in March and another 5 nights in June at the Casita 3 villa. The location was perfect for us being away from the bustling White beach (15 minute walk). The accomodation, the views from the deck, the luscious gardens and the friendly service made for another memorable vacation. It's got our vote as the best accomodation on Boracay Island by far.

Pastoral surroundings, welcoming staff, attentive service

we spent 10 days in boracay and stayed at 4 resorts in the duration, my girlfriend and i both found our stay at casitas the most enjoyable. we were allocated level 1 of villa 2, which is quite a mount up the hill, but awesome ocean view, the tropical jungle surroundings as well as the quietness of reading and relaxing in our own pavillion out in the open air very well compensated for the physical efforts of getting up there. the staff at casitas are second to none. they picked us up at our previous hotel and helped us carry the heavy luggage all the way up the hill. they also kept several really nice and cute dogs which we really loved to keep in company. we'll definitely come here again next time.

The view, the casitas, the friendly people

i know boracay from 1996, it changed a lot. the best is to stay on a hill with a view. i loved the casita nr. 2, huge verandah with a great view over the back (east) side of boracay, where the kite surfers are. the accommodation is great and everybody working there is extremly friendly and nice, including the owners of course. you get every day a different kind of breakfast, nobody can eat so much. the location is high, you realy must be physically fit to do it, it's a good excersize. the garden is also beautiful. the conclusion is: absolute recommandation!

          wonderful place in boracay”

cute dogs, friendly and helpful staff

we stayed in casita 3, i think the design is the best in compare with casita 2. but the view of casita 2 higher level is the best! the kitchen is well-euipped. it is relax to have your dinner there. also, it is too far to go out and the roads are dark. i suggest you not going back after sunset! the dogs are cute and they slept outside our casita all the time. we love them so much! i like the mango jam, it is made by the mastress. you can taste it every morning during your stays! the security guard patrols every hour at night, it makes us feel good and safe. be honestly, i will decide not to stay in the villa again. although the villa is excellent, it is too far away from the centre of boracay. the villa not provides transfer services, it is a bit inconvenient. the villa is difficult to locate, we suggest the villa should provide the transfer services. we were helped by the staff of our previous stay, the driver also find difficult to locate the place. we back to the villa early, we found nothing to do at night. the only entertainment is watching tv... but the tv is too small for around 10 inches wide only. i suggest the villa should have a bigger tv and provide a dvd machine. the most problem is insect. there are ants everywhere, even in your suitcases. we listened some weird sound at night and it seems just beside me when i was dining. the staff said the weird sound may be lizard! omg! luckily, it gone when i knocked the table loudly! and there was flying cockroaches during my stay! i can't accept it... if you don't afriad of insects and darkness, if you decide not going out and staying in the villa, i suggest you must stay there! it must be an excellent experience for you. the staffs are friendly, they make you feel like "back to home". the first night we back around 8 o'clock, we found the lights and air-con were opened. we appeciated the preformance of the staffs.

Butler service is very good,Good service, good price, very beautiful environment, close to nature

The four of us live in Casitas 2 of the first and second floors, where the actual feeling of the picture is far more beautiful, clean and comfortable. Here completely out of your likeness, the boss is very nice, the service is thoughtful steward. We bought the lobsters in the seafood market, the hotel housekeeper to help us create, quite exquisite cuisine, let us forget. This is not as noisy as the rest of Long Beach Island, we can not go out, would rather be here all day, quietly enjoy the beautiful scenery, sky line, people can not forget a long time. I accepted a friend neck pain, housekeeper very hard to help us find drugs. When I can not find the lighter, the housekeeper to help me find the lighter heavy rain, people moved. In short there is beautiful scenery, delicious food, comfortable beds, and the super-attentive service. We had booked two months will come here. This is a rare gem, selfish, we do not want to know more people here, because that may be hard to book the room.
