Spacious, neat room with great service ”

    beddings, kitchen utensils, comfort room

There was a typhoon when my husband and i arrived at SandCastles. We were so delighted upon seeing our room coz we didn't expect it to be an absolute beachfront view since we only booked for a standard one.The room has a kitchen complete with utensils, dining table, sofa and really neat bed. The comfort room looks gorgeous and is very clean. The glass wall where the beach can be seen has a door to it giving an easy access to the beach, which is around 30 steps away. Hotel staff were friendly and reliable. Despite the bad weather during our entire stay, we still enjoyed much of it because of our good choice of hotel.Maybe the only weak point about this hotel is their breakfast which is included in the package. It consists only of toasted bread, butter, jam and coffee which is not competitive with the other boracay hotels. But despite the sad and boring breakfast, SandCastles will still be our no.1 choice when we go back to boracay.

A small hotel with big service ”

You can see the shore as soon as you step out from the hotel. They have nice lounge areas along the shore. The service is good and they have accommodating staff.

Sand Castles is located at the part of station 1 near station 2. I have stayed in various beach front hotels in Boracay but I would say that their location is one of the best that I have stayed so far since most restaurants, bars & shopping area are located in these two stations. We stayed in the standard room. It is part of a two bedroom apartment so we shared the living, dining and kitchen area with the guests staying on the other room. The standard room is just apt for 2 people. Since me and my friend are petite, the size of the room is not much of a problem.

    So Worth It”

the room, the cleanliness, the location

It was my third time at Boracay but Sandcastle was top notch when it comes to service and cleanliness. My only complain was that we taught we have chosen a beach view balcony only to be brought to a sea side balcony. Their brochures even wrote that Mandaya room is a beach view balcony. Other guests should take note of this. Aside from that, our stay was perfect. They didn't even complain when we asked for four extra towels. :)

    very accommodating owner and staffs

the place is very good. the best place to stay. they open bar at night. they offer eco-tours. The owner itself is very accommodating so as the staff. rooms have its own kitchen, ref, living room, cable tv, h & c shower, and an extension door to its main lobby. The best place to stay in boracay, just in between station 1 and 2, and a beach front. i'd love to come back there on Christmas but unfortunately, maybe fully booked already. definitely will visit the place on December again.

    Good to be back.”

We stayed here 11 years ago, when I was still in College. Went back and it's still mostly the same. We stayed in a one bedroom absolutely beachfront, Aeta. Rooms are big, full kitchen. 1 AC for the kitchen and hall, and another AC for the room itself. You have access to the terrace/balcony. In my case I was on the ground floor, so it's sands right away. Here's the thing, you don't need the facilities, like a pool or something like that or even a gym. This, is all you need when you go to Boracay, a cozy place to sleep, waking up infront of the sea. D'mall is a 5 minute walk, Starbucks is a stone's throw away, Dencio's is beside you, Gerry's on the other side. Convenience stores, ATM, within 10 steps away. Forget the hotels. Tip, get tired, get drunk, do whatever you can so that when you lay down at night, you fall asleep. The DJ next door is quite loud.

Loved the room right beside the street”

We loved our stay at boracay sandcastles. Very near to restos and d'mall. The rooms are big and right at the beachfront. Loved lounging in front of our room. Would be better if they'll also put at least 1 beach chair in front of the room instead of just a table and 2 chairs. Would definitely go back!

    Perfect for our situation”

    Location, price and common room

I was traveling with a friend and we were looking for a simple room near the beach. Sand castles provided that and then some. I didn't even know I would have access to a kitchen area, but we were lucky enough to share a kitchen/living room with only one other room. The only bad thing was that it was only available for one night. We asked the front desk to see if we could stay any longer, but they were all booked up. The room/bathroom area itself was a little small, but combine that with shared kitchen area and it made for a very comfortable stay. Overall I was impressed with sand castles and I will most likely be staying there again the next time I go back to Boracay.

    Location, Decor, Sea View Balcony

Had a lovely stay here a couple of times. breakfast was perfect for me as it was either served to your apartment or you can have it out on the main beach on the sunchairs provided by sandcastles. breakfast wasn't huge but perfect for me - mangoes, lovely coffee, toast and jam. staff were very accomodating and although not in your face to help you, when you seek out their assistance they were happy to help. extra free towels available to take to the beach as well which was handy.

    Very spacious and comfortable apartment”

Right in the beach front and in the hub of activity

Absolutely loved my stay at Sand Castles. The room was above expectations, so spacious and well fitted out. It was right on the beach front and so just a few steps from the beautiful waters that Boracay has to offer. One thing to keep in mind is that if you want a peaceful beach escape, this might not be the place. At night time there is a 'beach bar' set up right out side the apartments. Music stays pumping to at least midnight. Despite this, Sand Castles is still highly recommended as a quality accommodation option at Boracay.

This is my second time staying at Sand Castles in Boracay and I was even more impressed this time. The service at the front desk was friendly and accommodating (even more so than before). Has more than usual room ammenities.

If one wants an affordable unit that allows one to save much more on food, Sand Castles Boracay delivers. The unit has refrigerator, electric stove, microwave oven, bread toaster, sets of plates, saucers, glasses, and coffee cups, cooking and dining utensils. The place provides a kitchen big enough for cooking. One can buy grocery at a local grocer and cook in the room. This saves a lot of money.

This is a older building that is showing its age and is need of renovation/upgrades. The location is excellent, close to the beach and activities. The staff, especially Mary(front desk) is excellent. She addressed and corrected all of our concerns and a great personality and friendly!! Everyone there was great!! There is bottled water on each floor, balcony on the roof is a great place to relax and have a cocktail. Nice and Relaxing”

The location was perfect. You walk out of the hotel and sand touches your feet. The rooms were clean and exactly what I expected them to be. The corner bedroom of our 2 bedroom apartment did not have a TV which I think would be a nice addition for future visits. The air conditioning is not as strong as it could have been but it was enough. The beds were comfy and nothing was more convenient than walking around the beach and walking straight to your apartment from the water. You don't feel confined unlike if you were at a hotel, it was literally like a home away from home.

Good location, in the middle of it all”

The staff at Sandcastles has been very helpful and accommodating; they always greet you with a smile. The beds in the rooms are comfortable, and the bathrooms are also nice although a bit small. The location is right in the middle of Stations 1 and 2, so if you don't mind a little noise and action at night, then this place is for you. My only pet peeve is that the beach right in front is usually occupied by sailboats, which makes it hard to swim since they come and go and practically cover the view of the sunset.

Beach front, cheap, nice kitchen/common area.

we made a last minute booking after deciding to stay in boracay for an extra 3 days. the staff was very friendly and always came in and made our bed early in the morning. the kitchen area was very nice and roomy, although we only used the stove on the last day to boil some water for instant noodles. it was a bit hard to spot when we first got there and we walked a bit extra and had to carry our luggage on the sand to get to the place, but later on, we discovered that there was indeed a small brick walkway just next to it. overall, a nice and cheap place for travellers on a budget.

the hotel was really good. it's location is at the center of boracay, it is near the best dining places and bars for night out fun. the staff were good and accomodating. the only downside that we have experience, is that we have not seen the owners smile nor say hi to it's guest considering that you get to see them everyday at the lobby or it's restaurant. the bed aswell is a bit hard and the faucet in the shower was not working.
