Excellent value”
On my third stay at Borei Angkor I enjoyed the hotel again. The staff, the rooms, the cleaning and food are excellent. They are doing well as Siem Reap recovers from the impact of COVID on tourism. Borei Angkor has a new restaurant and has kept its facilties up to date, but there are still limited tourists around so it is quiet. Plenty of room in the pool. Plenty of space at breakfast. For the cost you get excellent value.

Had too book last minute due to complications with another hotel. Booked same day for a great price, was welcoming immediately after served drinks and a snack. The room we booked didn’t have the best view so they switched our room so we could have a pool facing balcony. The rooms were very clean, bed super comfortable, stocked fridge, and very nice bathroom and shower. The main lobby was gorgeous and the entire hotel was well lit and perfectly decorated. The hotel made you feel like you were living in a Cambodian castle. The staff were extremely attentive and did their best to anticipate our needs. The breakfast was delightful, as well as the Thursday night BBQ. I will stay at the Borei Angkor every time I visit Cambodia in the future. Thank you!

Love the room, clean, nice bed, spacious, private balcony, so very romantic also. There is a lack of hooks on the walls for towels and robes in the bathroom, also no sheets, just a covered duvet yet it is really hot here. But that is the only mild complaint I have. Yes there is air conditioning. The staff are warm and friendly and have been very helpful. The hotel is definitely first class with a lovely decor. It is truly beautiful and very cultural. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel and staff was amazing! From the food to the service could not have gone smoother. They picked me up at the airport and the check in went very smooth. My room was upgraded which was a very kind gesture. The room had good A/C and a room safe. I could not hear any noise from my neighbors room so was a blessing. They set me up (referred me) with a Tuk-Tuk driver while I was there. His number is +855 92 300 731 if you are interested in him as well. He spent the entire time I was there showing me around (my personal driver lol) and did NOT screw me over on the prices like another one I experienced haha! Mike D (USA)

Have stayed here many times with my work. It’s my “go-to” place in Siem Reap! I love everything about this hotel. The facilities are great, comfy beds and pillows, good size bathroom with separate shower and bath, traditional wood features, fantastic pool, very helpful and friendly staff.

Great hotel and nice personal touch ”
Stayed here 2 weekends running, once for business and the second time for leisure. On the second visit I was so impressed as I walked in, one of the ladies on reception upon recognising me, stood up and greeted me with ‘welcome home sir’ fantastic moment and of course set the tone for the stay. They have a super newly opened fine dining restaurant, the manager and whole team are a credit to the venue. Will definitely be back.

Superb Hotel, Friendly and accommodating staff”
We stayed at Borei Angkor Resort and Spa for 6 days (June 7-12) and it was an unforgettable experience. The thought of a vacation in Siem Reap for the first time brought bits of anxiety and apprehension. Expectation was up front especially that a five star hotel Borei Angkor Resort and Spa sold at a lower cost and probably the services and the place was not consistent with its 5 star rating. However, Borei Angkor Resort relieved our anxiety. It has even surpassed our expectation. The airport to hotel transfer was efficient. After checking out of the baggage claim area, we were greeted with one of our names written clearly on a welcome card, being held by a friendly smiling hotel staff CHANTAH... On the way to the hotel, he was so accommodating and cordial, giving us bits of Siem Reap profile and history. Upon check in, we were assisted by an equally cordial and friendly front desk staff JOHN, who took time to orient us on the hotel rules, tour package arrangements, and the must-sees and where-to-eat stuff. The welcome courtesy pandan tea was so refreshing. The hotel room was complete and huge. The bathroom was first class. Thanks JOHN for upgrading our accommodation. The hotel offers a lot of amenities and facilities we thought we would not avail since the rate was cheaper. We later learned it was lean months and they had to bring down room rates to maintain tourist influx to the city without compromising their services. The pool was big and the water was cold - perfect to sooth one's tired body from the smoldering sun and endless walks. The sauna was superb. At times, the jacuzzi's thermostat had to be reset. The dry and steam sauna was not over crowded although we had to call the sauna staff many times for we found it confusing to set the time and temperature. Fresh towels were readily available and the shower was equipped with citronella-based body wash and shampoo. Relaxing and memorable stay”
The stay at Borei Angkor Resort & Spa was a pretty pleasant one. When we first entered Borei Angkor, the facade gave a very good impression of the hotel. The wonderful experience started when we were seated at a mini lounge/waiting area while we were checked into the hotel. We were served a chilled drink and cold wet towels to refresh ourselves before we were brought to our rooms. The rooms were clean and big. Given that the hotel is not new, I must say it is extremely well maintained. The staff were very friendly and attentive. They were sincere and spoke good english. The spa is pretty good too. They served us even though we just returned all dirty and muddy from a cycling trip to the temples. All in all, a nice and pleasant stay that would warrant a repeat stay if we were to visit Siem Reap again.

An Amazing Hotel with Great Staff”
My fiancee and I went to Siem Reap for our four year anniversary. We decided to stay at the Borei Angkor Resort & Spa because of its location, amenities, and style. We flew in from Thailand and were picked up with the shuttle service at the airport. Two members of the hotel staff were waiting there to greet us. They were so friendly and immediately made us feel welcome to not only their hotel, but to Cambodia as well. When we checked into our hotel, we were very surprised to find that we had been upgraded because of our anniversary. Daniel and the staff went way beyond the call of duty to make our anniversary trip very special and memorable. The food was great, the pool excellent, and the number of services available was without compare. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Siem Reap.

Nice Place to Stay”
This hotel was quite new, and provided 24 hour service in the restaurant. There was a bar at one corner on the fourth floor, although we could not hear any noise from it in our room, which was at the far end of the third floor. For someone with a room close to the bar (band music), noise might be a problem at night, although I know that the staff will readily accomodate people if they want to move to different rooms. There was construction during the day in the rooms directly above us, which seemed to entail a lot of drilling and hammering. This started at about 8 AM and continued until about 5 PM. This was not a terrific problem for us, since we were out most of the day. At one point, I did ask for a quiet room so that I could have a rest after lunch, and the staff was willing to place me temporarily in any available room in the hotel, which was very good of them. We did not want to change rooms, since the one we had was really quiet during the night. The hotel was really exceptionally nice. This was our third trip to Siem Reap, and the Borei Angkor is our favourite hotel thus far. We plan to visit Siem Reap a year or so from now, and will definitely return to the Borei Angkor. One thing that I like about the rooms in the hotel is that the washrooms are very large and have not windows. This makes it easy for me to change sheet film, which I use in my camera.

Great hotel with fantastic service”
Many hotels usually have one or 2 minor things that are not quite right or need improving... and some are downright awful. Borei Angkor is one of those places where they seemed to have covered everything and got it all right... it's usually the little things that make a big difference and this place seems to have thought of everything... Their attention to detail is incredible, whether it's the welcome cold towel upon returning from a tour under the hot Cambodian sun, or the invigorating rainhead showers... and the staff can't do enough to help you, nothing is too much trouble and always carried out efficiently and with a smile. Tried dinner here one night, the Khmer-style chicken curry was really good! In fact we never had a bad meal here (nor in Siem Reap for that matter)... Buffet breakfast was also one of the best I've experienced anywhere, with a vast range and variety of choices... Well located and a short drive to the Angkor Wat area, and only a 5 minute ride into town by tuk-tuk... Our host Tony was always there to assist, from check-in right through the rest of our stay, sometimes suggesting or offering things we hadn't even thought of, and helped make our stay even more enjoyable and effortless... and we were made to feel very welcome at all times... We booked 2 tours via the hotel, one to Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat, as well as cruise up the Tonle Sap river through rural Cambodia, with floating villages and beautiful scenery... The tour was well organized (private car) and our driver Chumnit was very friendly & knowledgeable, and just a really nice guy...Every time we returned to the car after exploring we were always greeted with a cold drink, cold towel and a smile. I can't fault anything with the property, but it was really the staff that made the whole experience so much better... I enjoyed my stay at Borei Angkor immensely - I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
