Was appalled reading negative reviews after paid reservation prior check-in, even considering abandoning, but was surprised and amazed from check-in until completion of 2 nights 1 bedroom seaview suite 1) superb view. Not just the seaview right infront, but also Mt Kinabalu in distance from the corridor view. 2) room was super spacious for 2 (2 full bathrooms), full kitchen, super kingsize bed, clean and polish, celestial movies on tv, lift service, only set back is bed is very creaky like going to collapse😱😱😱. 3) staffs at "registration" at villa 161 are friendly and helpful with smiles, allowed early checked in upon arrival, "registration" area was clean and organised. Only discomfort was had to provide 16 digits credit card no. for security deposite, and passport was taken photo, not photocopy. 4) the precinct is maintained daily, nice clean public pool area, water was clean, grass patch was nice and clean for strolling and enjoying the beach views. 5) one small setback is no dinning option (since is not hotel), but 2km away is nexus resort that provides reasonable dinning option. 6) not crowded since weekday stay, only about 3-4 units occupied. 7) signal from personal mobile data was strong, so no issues with internet connectivity. 8) road leading to location well paved, and entrance security guard stationed and checking all entry, safe. 9) nevertheless, maybe "luck" may play a part, since the room assigned was a nicely well kept room in good condition. From observation, there are some units with belconies in severe bad conditions (maybe not managed by BVS). This may be the reason why some horrific reviews.
