We only stayed here for one night, but were really happy with Bos house! We were able to check-in a bit earlier, had a really nice and clean room and the location was perfect to explore the city by foot. We would definitely book here again :)

I took the HSR which has a free shuttle (H31) that stops a few min walk away at Shao Ximen/Tayih Landis Tainan. It's true there's no signage anywhere. It helps that hostel messaged their full Chinese/English address - **45** Fuqian St., sector 2, Tainan - to me which was not incl'd on Agoda's voucher. It's true that nobody speaks English here. In fact there's no reception. When I arrived, I had to call for someone to open the door for me. The reception stays pretty much empty the rest of the time I was around. Within a 5-min walk radius, there're A LOT of diff eateries, 2 bike docking stations, and a few tourist sites. Located on the 11/F it dwarfed the neighborhood with a great view at night. The place looks new and generally clean altho there were a toothbrush wrapper and some hair under the bed when my coins rolled. Otherwise the place has a nice industrial hipster design. I extended with the owner for one more night and got upgraded to a bigger room for less the $.

A little far from Tainan train station , just near Baoan Rd. Kuohua St. and Haian Rd. where with many street food. Walking to Shinkuang mall in 10 mins. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. I'll stay here next time I visit this city.

Amazing location”
The location is amazing. The hostel is located on the foods street in Tainan, so all the amazing street stands and food stalls are literally 5 minutes away. The room is clean, good sized and comfortable. However, there were constructions going on during the time we stayed so it was quite noisy. Check in and check out is simple and fuss free. Would return.

Communication via text messages went perfectly, so it wasn’t easy to find. If you were to try on your own though, that might be tricky, as bo‘s house is on the 10th floor and there aren’t any signs on the road. Agoda has to doublecheck the coordinates of the location, they weren’t correct...

The location is good, the room is clean and the staff is friendly.(he gave us free drinks and beer) However, there are still few things that can be improved. First of all, the temperature of the shower is hard to be adjusted. We showered either too warm or too cold...Secondly, there is no sign outside of the building and it locates on 11th floor so it's really hard to find it. Finally, the sounds proof is not that good. Especially the period while we stayed there was construction. Overall, for this price it's a good place to stay.

Reside at alley with no signboard of guest house. Staying for 2 nights and only met the staff once during check-in. No room cleaning or towel change on the following day. Room is clean and cozy, recommend for backpacker. There are variety of street food nearby and some are open till midnight.
