Awful - DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL”
The hotel was the worst I have ever seen. I don't know how it is possible to give 4 stars to such hotel. The rooms were dirty and the walls had plaster falling everywhere. The bathroom had no window and no ventilation system. The sink was leaking. The bed duvet were all stained.
I booked just over a week out due to a change in travel. I paid upfront. We arrived at the hotel after a day of travelling And were told we would have to stay somewhere else as they had overbooked us. I advised I paid already and was told they were full. No attempt to refund my money or contact me to tell me. They wanted to put me in a different hotel so far away it wasn’t funny. I complained and somehow they were able to give me someone’s else’s room who they would then move when they arrived. Half used toiletries in the room and cockroaches. An alarm went off at 3 am which went for 20 minutes. We checked out at 4 and we asked if we could leave our bags for 5 minutes were told no there isn’t time and pushed us out the door and closed it and turned the lights off. Check in staff was great but I would never recommend this hotel!
Nice place to stay with spacious rooms and kind staff though the furniture in the rooms was damaged and needed to be fixed. The damage ranged from small chips on tables to the walls not being of their original condition.
Near to almost historical place in Rome
Near to almost historical place in Rome
Great location, but everywhere around the Trevi Fountain is crowded. Overall the room was good but the shower leaked a lot of water on the floor. Desk staff was helpful. Staff was heard arguing. Room cleaning had issues - short staffed and not completed until late afternoon, no toilet paper left after cleaning except the end of the roll one day. Had to request additional toiletries. Breakfast was down in basement that smells musty. Food was just ok at best.
Great location in walking distance to Trevi Fountain and subway”
Perfect location near restaurants and shops and only a few hundred meters from the Trevi Fountain. Staff were very attentive and overall it was a pleasant stay.
I had a reservation for this property, When My Family and I arrived we were informed the floor our room was on was under repair from water problems. The management made arrangements to stay at a siter property across town. the Desk clerks were kind, professional and I felt concerned about our experience. I was grateful for their help. Regarding the survey I can only comment on the staff. I entered 3 stars only because there was not an NA option.
Perfect location ”
Location great. Bit dated but staff lovely. Breakfast bit disappointing
Beautiful and centrally located hotel with very helpful staff”
Very convenient central located hotel is very clean and well kept. The rooms were very spacious, and all the hotel staff were very helpful. Good breakfast spread.
Fantastic location, showers need help”
We very much enjoyed our stay in Rome and this hotel was satisfactory. The room and floors were gorgeous, and well appointed with large and comfortable beds (albeit limited closet space). The bathroom was a disappointment (shower leaked everywhere). By the amount of mold in the bathroom, we expect this is an ongoing issue. Other than that, the room was plenty spacious for Rome standards, was very quiet (other than background fan noise we couldn't turn off), and in an excellent location.
Excellent location, a little outdated ”
Close to Trevi fountain. The rooms are small and outdated, especially the restroom
Had booked a family room for 4. But ended up with two separate rooms because 'rains caused problem in some rooms'. Did not get any prior information about this. Breakfast was very disappointing, not upto a 4star value. The whole area where breakfast was served smelled like sewer! Location is the best about this hotel. Personnel also were very helpfull.
Fantastic location ”
Location location location. Everything was perfect. Very helpful English speaking gentleman at the front desk. Hotel is of another era and a little worn . Rooms are small but adequate.
Hotel is in a great location - easy walk to everything (except maybe the vatican but that's a bit out of the way from the very center anyway!) It was nice to open the window and hear the hustle and bustle in the area and hear the Trevi fountain as well as see it in the morning and the evening! You can hear people out and about until around 1 or 2am but that didnt bother is at all. After a long day of walking and sightseeing nothing stops you from just passing out on the bed! The staff were very friendly and helped us out with any questions, always with a smile. There is a bit of a musty smell going up the stairs but not in our room so we didnt care. The only downside was that the shower frequently changed from cold to hot.
Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms- breakfast included- would stay here again!
Walking distance to most historical placea
Not a 4 stars hotel”
This is definitely not a 4 stars hotel. No bath form or lotion provided. Dirty stained tiles in shower. Toilet flood when you take shower. Cheap lousy towels. TV has only local Italian channels. AC could not be switch-on and have to leave window open. Bed is not a spring mattress. Bad for my back. Housekeeping was horrible. Use hand towel as toilet floor mat. Staffs adopt a "do not give a damn" attitude.
Fantastic location pleasant staff, small room but what is to be expected in Rome at an amazing location. Food shops restaurants galore. Close to so many attractions. Highly recommend
