Very happy with Hotel Wellenberg”
The hotel came recommended on one of the travel sites and we were not disappointed. It was a close walk from the train station, (8-10 minutes) although the stones gave us some bumpy pulling of the luggage. The door gave us a challenge too as it opens out -- by a motion sensor so you have to get close and then step back- but other than those 2 minor things-- we were very happy. The front desk people were most helpful and very nice, the room was comfortable -- huge but plenty of room for us (softer mattress for my husband although I slept well), nice breakfast, great location. It was great for us and our needs. So glad we heard about it and I would highly recommend.

Great Hotel in the Heart of Zurich”
We had a great experience staying at Hotel Wellenberg. The hotel is in a great location. Most importantly, all the staff we met at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The cosy lounge is nicely set up and provide a great place to chill if you do not want to coop up in the room. We will choose to stay in this hotel again the next time we are back in Zurich!

Great family room that fit 2 adults and 2 young kids! Great breakfast that was included in the price and lively, central area in Old town Zurich. Close to public transport. Would definitely recommend!!

Excellent location, situated in the old town”
I picked this hotel based on reviews. The room was cozy, even if small, bed was really large and comfortable. Despite the hotel's central location we experienced very little noise. the staff was very friendly and helpful. We’d be happy to return to the hotel if we came back to Zurich.

Avoid the standard room”
So, this hotel is a great location if you're a foodie as there as restaurants everywhere around it and great night life but if you're to stay here then avoid the standard room and pay the extra for the premium rooms if you can afford it. The standard room is extremely small with old out dated furniture but i upgraded to a premium room for the next night and it was incredible. Also the staff at reception are so friendly and helpful

Overall Bad experience ”
The below will not be in your room when you check in and have to request from the reception * iron *kettle, coffee and cups * extra pillows Housekeeping team will only replace the towels and take the bins everyday, if you are expecting them to change your bedsheets and make the bed this is not the place for you. We stayed there three nights and found the toilet bin on the toilet seat. They do not have air conditioner and provided us a mobile air conditioner (it’s alight not as good and takes lot of room) They do not even give tea coffee or take the dirty cups Breakfast did not include warm food such as eggs bacon and you have to pay extra for that and good coffee hot chocolate Only good thing about this place was the location

Location ok of you want to stay in old town. I did not like that there is no coffee nor mini fridge in the room. The guest area’s bathroom was dirty. I habe paid leas per night in switzerland is this same trip for a much better service.

Located right in the old town of zurich, a typical tourist area. You can find things to eat even on the sunday, so it is good. Price is high but it is Zurich so everywhere is expensive. Staffs are helpful and friendly. Recommend this hotel.

Lovely Location”
I enjoyed my short stay in this centrally located hotel in the old parts of Zurich, you could reach Limmat river in 5 minutes walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful (check-in, concierge, room service & breakfast staff). The breakfast had good variety and tasteful. The price was reasonable & affordable for such a nice and central hotel. The list was a bit small, but we managed our luggage in 2 rides. There is no parking if you have a car (I came prepared and returned my rental car), only public chargeable parkings nearby. Internet was convenient and free, you just have to ask the reception for login info.

Hotel was located within 15min walk from Zurich Main Station. Very convenient to get around city centre by foot. Good selection of food just downstairs and Migros supermarket within 2min walk. Well sized room for family sharing room. Decent breakfast spread, especially loved the crispy bacons.
