Great location, relaxed vibe”
Fantastic location away from the thumping music that goes on until 2 am in other beach resorts. Beware. Bow thong was well organised on the best spot for relaxing. A family friendly resort, that I would return to again.

Great location”
Location is great at the more quiet end of Sairee Beach, bungalows are simple, but ok, cleaned every day and received fresh towels, a little overpriced, especially because breakfast was not included although if you check on their website it says that it always is, staff was quite ignorant but the lady running the place did warm up to us at the end, she organized an amazing boat trip for a great price for us, let us take a shower in her back room so we could save the late check out fee and even got us a free taxi to the fairy pier. Wifi connection was poor, but seemed to be like it on the whole island. Another a bit annoying fact is that there are a lot of dogs, which are friendly and they love going for a swim with you, but they would start barking like hell broke loose several times in the night. Other than that we had a great time on Koh Tao.

our second stay at bow thong resort, this is a very basic resort but if you like a place where the staff do not bother you and you have a nice quiet beach at your feet then you will like this. not for luxury resort fans or party animals! their restaraunt is ok but not fantastic, we ate in other places in town. best to reconfirm your stay by phone/email or book directly on the bow thong site as I booked 4 nights on agoda and our room was not available on the first night - had to sleep that night in another room.

Absolutely beautiful place, great beach with lots to do. The cottages are so quaint and chilled, right on the beach with a reasonably priced restaurant! Excellent stay, remember to put lots and lots of mosquito repellent on as the entire island is full of them, not a problem if you apply 2-3 times a day though :)

Good Quiet Location”
stayed 3 nights was enough. Hotel is located on northern part of sairee beach so peaceful bit only 5/10 min walk to centee for music restaurants. We just chilled by beach most days. i read reviews on trip advisor before choosing Bow Thong. The bungalows are clean and in good location. We found the lady at reception ok contary to reviews on trip advisor however she can be moody and come across with no manners hence bad reviews. if you just wanto to chill its a good spot. Beach is fab. Showers in bungalows are ok not great power but your not staying at the hilton your paying for direct sea access

ideal for a comfortable stay in Koh tao”
I had a really good and relaxing stay at Bow Thong. The staff was very helpful with booking dives and help with tickets for transport. The food at the restaurant was ok and the atmosphere was in general very good.

Excellent location Bowthong”
Our stay was really lovely! We loved every little thing about the resort. The only thing which we were disappointed with was that there was no free pick Up / drop off service to and from the pier, which other resorts offer. However the taxis were so cheap anyway so it wasn't a big deal.

Short relaxing and enyojed visit”
Great and friendly staff. Sometimes a bit short in tone. As when we told we wanted them to call a cab to transport us to another hotel. Otherwise good. This hotel would need a quick shape up as fixing the plumbs in the toilet and the main lock to the door as well as some new paint on the walls. But the hotel offered great location next to the beach, we paid (as we thoughtkr for ocean view but I guess you would have needed a mirror in your hand for that. I could absolutely stay there again. But not to that price, as we realize you could get more for your money when you open your eyes.

Weekend escape”
Only stayed for the weekend but enjoyed it. The staff were very helpfull and the bungalow was right on the beach. The beach was not overly busy but there was a bit of rubbish lying around. Would stay here agin for sure.

Lovely location on Sairre Beach”
We arrived and had paid a lot for this accommodation, it said seaview but we were 4 bungalows back, so made a fuss and were upgraded to 1 bungalow back. The resort grounds were a little scruffy and the staff a bit scarey, didn't go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I felt the website was deceptive with their photos and when we arrived we were taken to Palm Leaf resort next door which looked fabulous. For the price we'd definitely go there next time! Foe a 2 star resort the bungalows were way overpriced!

Really quiet and enjoyable area. The beach is quite beautiful and the hotel is far enough from the town that it often feels like you have the beach mostly to yourself. The bungalow was a little rough, but serviceable. Most of the staff is fine, but the lady who seems to run the place can be prickly. 10am check-out time sucks and they charge 20% for every hour stayed beyond that point.

Location is good, nice and quiet at end of Sairee beach Food is average and overpriced The aircon room was small, old, smelled mouldy and was dirty - way overpriced for what it was. The lady behind the counter is fairly brusk and unfriendly. Wants to keep original passport and which is illegal.

Friendly receptionist - great location ”
We only had a short stay - 2 nights but really enjoyed it! The woman on reception was exceptionally nice and went out of her way to make sure we were looked after! Would defo stay again- the location was great if you wanna be a short bit away from the madness!

Overpriced”
Not a bad place, but staff is quite unfriendly and overall I feel like we paid too much money for just a very basic room. Small old television (instead of LCD/plasma as promised), uncomfortable bed, room smelled like mothballs. There are definitely better and cheaper options available on the island! By the way, if you take a taxi from the pier, it's possible to get the price down from 300 to 200 bath.

AVOID this place”
arrived and our beach deluxe room was not available. The manager (pretty rude and loud lady) tried to explain us that she will call Agoda do ask to lower price. Next day we talked to Agoda and they told us that manager said we have asked to get downgraded. Lots of arguments! Beach is hardly existing as a storm has taken beach away. Very old beach chairs and mattress were dirty and rock hard. There are so many other places which are def much more worth the money. I would not come back!

Amazing place to stay, I loved it!!”
Located at the north end of Sairee beach which is nice and quiet at night. Every room is a little bungalow. Great place to stay to have a quiet place to retreat, especially with all the parties going on further south at the beach. Best place to get here is to walk along the beach. Keep that in mind if you have a rolling suitcase. Although I’m sure there is some other way to get there that I simply don’t know of that might be suitcase friendly. The room was cleaned every day. Airconditioning worked very well, but it smelled a little wet in the room. It didn’t bother me at all since everything else was so great. Please be fair and don’t expect a 5-Star luxury Hotel for this price. The value for money of this place was amazingly good and the location is in my opinion the best one you can find on this island. Owner of the place is really nice and is happy to help with any problems. I can definitely recommend!
