Find hotels near Genting Highlands in Genting Highlands, Malaysia

In overall our stay is excellent. We booked the deluxe room so we don't need to experience long queue like people who book the standard room. We had our breakfast on the top floor of tower 1 and the food is good. Some local delicacies are excellent, but too spicy to digest in the morning. Need to improve on the variety of the food. Compared to the other hotels in Genting Highland, I think the First world hotel is the best.

New 5 Star hotel that want to offer the best, but there are many areas that is not fully ready, for example: 1. Wifi is covered for the whole hotel without password with single SSID, but the speed is only 2-3mbps. 2. Coffee Sachet and tea bags given in room, but no kettle to boil hot water for it. 3. No slippers (Usually a must have in 5 Star hotel). 4. No bath tub (Usually available in 5 Star hotel). 5. Breakfast variety and food quality is not 5 Star, I would say 4 Star and above. 6. Killer view at the restaurant balcony, and seating is available but door not open. Nevertheless there are many highlights : 1. Killer view in room and especially at the restaurant. 2. Good value compared to other hotels at Genting Highlands. 3. Staffs are friendly. 4. Room are clean. 5. Regular free shuttle to Genting Highlands. 6. Free parking. 7. Room size is good. 8. TV with TV box and movies on demand. 9. USB ports available via bedside clock for charging devices. 10. Free minibar (4 Can of cokes)

The location is ideal as it is near to most attractions in Genting Highlands. The breakfast package was very worthy, I would recommend alone to go for it. The staff were really friendly too, making us felt welcomed. However, the only con is its distance to the parking lot and you'll need to go a whole big round after leaving the carpark to pick up family members back at the hotel.

the hotel is near from first world hotel or resort hotel. Its easy to find if U finally know where. but no signboard from genting highland. U must ask any people around the mall to find that. 1st time I came here finally with taxi bcause I dont know where the hotel is. Taxi is hard to find to come your hotel but U must find harder. The good point of this hotel is only cheap and maybe cleanlines and near from first world. the minus is no facility, 1st time must find it, no breakfast and hard to find taxi if U want to go back genting with skyway.

The Check-In was smooth (Thanks to Patrick from frontdesk, who was patient enough to give all information). The Room was Clean and Spacious, and ofcourse had an Amazing view. Lots of restaurants (Chinese, Japanese, Indian/Arabic, and others) were just one floor above the Main lobby of the Hotel. Casino can also be accessed directly from the Hotel Lobby. In my opinion, of all the Hotels at the Highland, the Maxims was best placed (in terms of location) and also value for money. Would only stay at this property whenever I go to Genting. P:S The Hotel was Kind enough to arrange a floral decoration in the room for my wife’s Birthday. Special Thanks to the Team for their amazing gesture.

We had a very excellent experience in Genting Grand Hotel, this is the most expensive and most luxury in Genting Highlands, the hotel itself don't have much shopping or dining options, but don't worry, you can reach First World Plaza in 5 minutes by walk, and walk inside the building (connected building). The room is fully equipped, the amazing thing is the hotel provides you a Nespresso machine with 3 capsules every day. The breakfast is awesome with many choices. We will choose Genting Grand Hotel again in the next visit to Genting Highlands.

It was a great stay! Prior to my trip, the fun manager send me all sorts of information I would need via WhatsApp. He/she also check in with us if all was good when we managed to check-in. There's no check-in counter but it wasn't that difficult to find the keys, just follow the instructions will do. My bf and I had quite a bit of fun trying to figure out where the keys were at. Everything was great except I would have wished that the pillows weren't that soft and if there's a smart TV. There were quite alot of channels to watch but we only ended up alternating between two channels. Would be great if there's a smart TV which we can use to watch movies online. I love that the WiFi speed is super fast, hence with the smart TV, it would definitely add to the whole experience. Thumbs up for sky d mont! Slightly pricier than other hotels, but I will definitely consider going back for my next genting trip!

The hotel outlook is dirty and old. Through the hotel manager, they claimed that the hotel has been rent for foreigner workers as a hostel. We're not to be racist but the criminal record the they did is hardly to persuade us to stay along with them plus there is no safety guards on call and do the round. Please understand if a family stayed there with two small kids and two young lady , we're strongly feels uncomfortable and unsafe to stay. The actual distance from hotel to genting that shows in agoda booking details is more further. Walking distance takes 1hours, by car needs 15-20minutes.
