In CBD perfect to shop, eat and walk around the city. Terminal for bus to Picton very short distance, 5 mins. Bed and pillows are excellent. Def stay again.

Stop over”

Our small room was Ideal for someone wanting a bed for the night. No fuss but all you need. Bed very comfortable, toilet and shower very clean. Our only comment would be I was scared I would break the TV as it's at your feet. Would definitely stay again.

Tiny room, great location”

The room I stayed in was very tiny and would only be suitable for 1 person. For a small space, it was well laid out. The hotel was clean and the location was excellent. There was a bar/restaurant in the lobby and lots of lounge space. There were laundry facilities.

Cheap and cheerful, no fuss”

Booked an inner room, no windows, which meant pitch black for sleeping, which was great. We've stayed here a few times so knew what we were booking. If you're not bothered about space (some rooms are very small), then it's great - location is perfect!

Love this place!”

Such great value for money including a full cooked breakfast. Stayed in an inner urban room and it feels like your travelling in Japan! It is compact but for 1/2 nights is all you need! Great aircon and comes with fridge and tea and coffee facilities. Great location and staff are super friendly.

great no frills hotel”

This hotel is an excellent choice if you want a quiet clean hotel. It is no frills but it has all you need. I use it a lot for both holidays and work. Can't really fall it. It is a budget hotel so you have to accept that. Th location is great as nothing is far in Christchurch.

Excellent accomadation for last night in New Zealand.”

We have stayed at this accommodation 2 years in a budget room. Decided to upgrade to superior room this time as rate was reasonable and we are pleased we did, we received free carparking and complimentary drinks. Lovely clean and spacious rooms with separate bathroom. We would highly recommend.

Had a great stay in Breakfree. It was centrally located to shops and eateries, which I thought were very convenient. However, we needed to pay to park at the hotel's property which costs $15 per day.
