Some of the staff is really nice like angel from spoon and Fernando at the pool bar but for the most part your a sales pitch to everyone and the beach is very bad but the resort is beautiful

All bang for your buck ”
Everything about this resort is just fabulous to me — from the food to the staff to the drinks — only negative here is the beach filled with seaweed but I hope that gets better in due time. You’ll love this resort if you leave all the negativity at home. Been here 4 times and plan to go again to see my fave staff and have my fave foods. Even the guests are easy to talk to throughout the trip.

The resort does not live upto the reviews. The moment we arrived, we were stopped by a staff that wanted us to tour a new location for $100 credit and kept saying it wasn't timeshare. Our room smelled really bad and bathroom walls were rusty. Overall did not feel sanitary. The food was the worst part. No premium liquor unless you pay extra. I kept turning purple everywhere (my polished toes, fingernails, bottom of feet) every time I got out of the pools. That was weird. The staff said I had some time of allergy but I just got there from staying at another resort and never in my life had that kind of reaction. That was a big bummer for me considering that I got my toes painted white and nails painted light pink for this trip. Bottom line, very mediocre. Not worth the money. Spend a little more and go somewhere else. I would not stay here again.

Breathless During Covid ”
I was hesitant to travel during COVID but couldn’t let my anxiety get the best of me. However, my husband wanted to celebrate his Bday away so I had to make it happen. We flew into Cancun and it was a breeze getting through the airport. No covid test was required for Mexico. At the airport, we had to fill out a one page form and get our temperature checked. Once we arrived at Breathless Riviera Cancun our temperature was checked again, luggage was sanitized and we were instructed to clean our shoes. Hotel staff were required to wear mask but it was optional for guests. The resort wasn’t filled to capacity. We were very impressed with how Breathless handled sanitizing the rooms and common area’s. The hospitality was great. Each day hotel staff greeted us with smiles and pleasant service. Drinks were flowing, our bellies were full and the activities were in full force. Majority of the excursions were open so we did a catamaran cruise, ziplining, atv’s & enjoyed a cenote swim. If you’re looking for getaway during these crazy times, I would definitely recommend Breathless Riviera Cancun.

Change is not always good”
Very disappointed with the attempt to remake the hotel image. For those of us that are frequent travelers and visited the hotel during its first years of operation continued to come back because we expected a certain adult vibe from this hotel. This year I had heard that the hotel was loosing clientele but was willing to give it a try any way. But as opposed to booking a 6 day stay as we would have, we went to two other adult only resorts first, that pretty much were dead as we expected. Mainly catering to the much older crowd which is fine. We thought we saved returning to the best for last was a good idea. But this idea of the hotel wanting to remake the image is not what those that are younger and hopefully have 20 to 40 more years of traveling ahead of them is looking for when booking this resort. I am just one of many that will not be returning. There are plenty of places that still offer what this location once did. Good luck with the 55 and over crowd.

The staff was terrible. The service was terrible. The food was terrible with the exception of the steakhouse. I would never stay here again.
