    Very enjoyable stay”

Very accommodating staff, near the beach, delicious seafood

Breeze and Waves Hotel is aptly named as you can always feel a light breeze and hear the gentle waves in the restaurant/reception area. The reception area had a small book shelf and some couches where you can just relax and read a book. We were brought by tricycle to the annex since the beach front rooms were already booked. The annex, which was a two minute ride away from the beach front, was new and clean. Our bedroom for two was very cozy and could fit up to four if you used the extra mattresses . This was good since we spent 5 hours just to get there from Naga City and we were dead tired. We had a table, an electric fan, and a cabinet to put our things. There was also cable in the new flat screen TV. The bathroom was just the right size and they even had a heater for the shower. You had to text the receptionist for the tricycle to pick you up, but since there was no signal (only Smart), we decided to walk instead. It took less than 10 minutes. I was glad that we were at the Annex when we found out that someone rented a Karaoke machine at the beach front and sang until 12 midnight. The hotel has their own boats which are located on Paniman Beach where the island hopping tours take off. We were so grateful that the staff looked for other visitors whom we could join the island hopping tours with so that we could lessen the cost since there were only two of us. You can get both island groups for Php 3500 for one whole day instead of two days. The boats can accommodate up to 8 people. We ate our meals at the hotel and enjoyed really fresh fish. They also served a generous amount of rice to go with our meals. The price of meals ranges from (for breakfast) – They can also prepare your meals for your island hopping tours. By the way, Manlawi Islands Tour (5 islands) costs while the Matukad Island Tour (4 islands) costs. The only problem was that brown outs were common especially during the night.

    Amazing, wonderful, relaxing”

    Location, friendly staff, very economical

We enjoyed every moment there, very clean, the staff is so friendly and attentive, foods are great, we watched the sunrise from the beach and our balcony, walked the miles of quiet beach, swam in the beautiful sea, explored the local culture. Breeze and Waves is a family owned business and when you are there, you feel like family. If you are looking for a 5 Star experience and you are spoiled with Western or European hotels, maybe you wouldn't adapt. But if you like quiet, clean, simple comfort, you have to book here. This is a wonderful, rustic, quiet place. I would encourage anyone who enjoys some adventure and wants a taste of the real heart and culture of the Filipino people to explore this area. We made so many new friends there. Say hello to everyone when you are there from Jeff and Abby. We will be back for sure.

    Nice relaxing place”

Close to the Caramoan Islands. Nice balcony. View over the beach

The hotel is a bit remote… but so are the Caramoan Islands. It’s not luxury but the balcony overlooking the beach is really nice. The food at the hotel is really cheap and the service is nice. There are many brownouts so recharge your camera in time. They also offer boat service for 1500 php to Matukad and the other Island close to this… standard price. There were very few tourists on the beach and several closed hotels. The beach itself is nothing special but you can see many people fishing with nets directly from the beach.

Lovely staff in a nice area”

    Great food

The people working at the hotel were absolutely lovely and offered a great deal of help when I had to leave early and change my flights. Great location, very easy and accessible to see the survivor islands. Food was delicious, and the pack lunch service for the islands was really nice. Only small complaint I had was that whenever I took a shower, the water didn't properly go down the drain in the bathroom so there was constantly a damp floor in the bathroom, but apart from that, a really nice hotel.

The owner & staff are very accommodating, we allowed to built our tents in front of the hotel near the beach and no extra charges despite we are 13 and I only reserved 1 room for 2 person.

Near the beach and very accessible when you want to go for an island hoping in caramoan. The staff are very accommodating and no extra charges even we are 13 who check-in in the hotel for 1 room reservation. The owner allowed us to built our tent in front of the hotel & beach. It's nice to stay here again.

    great, great place!!”

    staff, location, food

This is the absolute treat!!!! I love the place where some will hate it for: it is remote, not easy accessible, not luxurious etc... it's in a small fishing village and you go as local as possible. and it is very reasonable priced. Why so enthusiastic? first of all; the staff is great, above all the owner, a great lady who has interesting stories and a warm personality; the food, my God; you cannot go more local - and who would not want that, as it is Bicol-food?? Don't expect high-end features her, expect clean, decent rooms, quite, sea-view, very nice village-people.... a boat is easily rented and the islands are great!!! i read complains about this resort and they are from people who have luxurious needs. We didn't and we had a great time. motto in this little oasis: give respect and they double it in return. I would recomment this place to anyone!!!

perfect location since hotel is right on the beach”

beachfront, good food, clean bathroom with hot and cold shower

location is good and hotel offers packages for island hopping. Packed lunch comes with plastic table mat which kept our food clean as the cottages at the island where we had lunch is just a simple covered wooden shed. The hotel was so accommodating to cook our left-over grilled fish of our packed lunch to make it more tasty

    Location, cleanliness, cheap

Satisfactory. Arrived after Hagupit, no restaurants were open except B and W. They cooked whatever we liked, usually pork, fish, gulay, or chicken. They arranged tours, etc. Very helpful staff. But not much to do in surrounding neighborhood, have to go to town. Snorkling tours ok, beaches amazing on the short tour, the 2nd tour p2500 not worth it though. Not sure about the nearby hotels but B and W is ok, nice porch/balcony to hang out. Brownout usually 0900-1700. Nice time overall

    quiet and far from civilisation”

beach front - quiet - friendly staff

My stay at the hotel was ok. don't expect too much in the way of comfort coming here, Caramoan has not yet experienced much in the way of tourism, and therefore lack important things like ATM's. this place is isolated and a long drive back to any remote city. So if you want to get away from everything and just relax - then this is a great little place to relax. for me there was no wifi in the rooms, I had to ask for toilet paper, and had to pay a deposit to use a towel, which they were reluctant to return the deposit upon checkout. I think if they fix the wifi issue and clean the rooms daily and ensure the rooms are actually clean before guest arrive, then this would make a great little budget hotel in a great location.

    The view!

Our stay was pretty good, the room was alright but most of the time no electricity=no aircon and there were no point having a TV because o channels, internet worked half of the time but only in the lobby. The food was terrible,,,but there is a place near buy called crazy coconut cotages which offer good western food. The owner was very friendly as well as the staff. I really liked Caramoan and recommend the inland tour from Crazy coconut with owner Sam and the island hopping was great, specially the long one!

    location and staff

The place is far beyond from Manila. Taking bus, public van, boat and tricycle. Hotel is in good location so close to the beach. Hotel seems old but clean, well maintained. Staff was nice and approachable. Book for 3 nights but only stay for a night. There is a storm that time. Evacuation is recommended. We ask the staff if we can use the 2 nights money to cash out for food because we are going home tomorrow but they said NO. We cannot refund any money at all. What a shame we did not enjoy our stay.
