Pleasant and friendly hotel.”
Had a great time at the Bright Heritage Hotel. Staff were brilliant, food was great and it is ideally located near all of Fort Cochin's attractions and Restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Nice hotel”
Nice quiet and clean hotel. Highly recommended. Staff is very helpful and pleasant. Well situated in Fort Kochi, close to the beach and many restaurants. Only complaint is no hot water, but it is so hot out it doesn't really matter too much.

Excellent location in fort area”
we found the bright heritage to be very conveniently positioned, with easy access to restaurants, ferrys, and markets. the room was very clean and staff were very eager to assist with any request. although breakfast was included with the room, the only option was omlette and toast. apparently they intend to provide more range of foods in the future. however this was not a problem for us, as the cost of food is low and there were plently of options on the streets. overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Fairly priced, good short stop”
The Bright Heritage was a short stop in Cochin as part of a larger tour of India, and for a few nights it was a good choice. Our room was basic but very large and was kept clean; there was an in-room safe box which was free to use. We found that the beds were particularly uncomfortable, even for India, although I was able to sleep well. This is partly due to location. The hotel is very central, but tucked in a side street that gets less traffic, so remains quiet. Apart from the beds, our only other issue was that the power frequently went off, even whilst other hotels clearly had no problem, and this also seemed to affect hot water. The staff were superb, and so polite it was almost embarassing. Overall I'd recommend this hotel as a good value short stay, but not for those seeking luxury.

Very pleasant experience”
we took a risk on this new hotel since there were no agoda reviews available, but it worked out great. the rooms are clean, everything worked, the included breakfast was served with a smile. we had a small problem with the lock on our door, but the staff immediately came and fixed it. even the smallest rooms are quite spacious yet make a comfy impression. excellent value for money. ps. the information on agoda doesn't mention it, but the hotel is fully a/c. one drawback: as far as i could see, the hotel does not have an elevator. this makes is less suitable for the physically handicapped.

A nice stay overall”
We had a nice stay at Bright Heritage. We were here several nights and enjoyed our stay. The only real negatives would be the beds were very hard and hot water only seemed to work at certain times. The sheets and pillows were nice and the room was clean and large. For breakfast it was an omelette and toast. Overall a very good value and a great location.

Lovely hotel with a smile, but poor service.”
very nice hotel, location in fort kochi is fantastic. manned by young men, who are quite courteous.however concept of service is missing amongst the staff.for example there is total mis-coordination amongst the staff on what breakfast is to be served. most of the times the tea and coffee is cold and when you ask for coffee, they serve tea without much ado. and they don't even realize their mistake, unless you point it out to them. seemingly lack of training or a motivation issue here! as their kitchen is not functional, you have to go out for food however there are many eating good joints nearby which offsets this problem.

Nice hotel in a fantastic location”
Found this hotel on Agoda and had no user reviews to consider but I we found that the hotel was very nice and the staff very friendly. We had a trip planned early in the morning and they made us some breakfast before the normal opening hours for breakfast which was very nice of them. The room had awesome a/c which was much appreciated! The beds are quite hard, and they did not provide replacement soaps and shampoo when they cleaned the room. Overall, a very good hotel at a great price, would recommend.

Beautiful rooms with friendly staff”
the hotel and staff were great...it was within walking distance to many of the best fort cochin tourist attractions. the free breakfast is nice, but make sure you tell them what you want the previous night or they might not have it the next morning.

Good value for the money, but nothing outstanding.”
It was ok for the money. The staff were reasonably helpful, but certainly didn't make any attempt to anticipate our needs. Wifi was only available in the lobby, which was a huge inconvenience since the lobby was hot and humid. The antique dealer next door was unncessessarily aggressive and annoying, and we had to turn him away every time we arrived or departed the hotel. The room lock was incredibly complicated and in fact when we first arrivved I couldn't exit my room with out help from the front desk. That's what I mean about not anticipating our needs. Nooone explained this complicated contraption. We figured it out after that though, and made other minor adjustments to make our stay at the Bright enjoyable.

A reasonable 3 star hotel”
Bright Heritage is a smart hotel that is just beginning to get run down a bit. The hotel is in a very good location and has a decent roof top restaurant. Poor WiFi in rooms. Quite good value for money.

Good location, nice and clean”
Staff were helpful and checked us in early, there's nothing special about the hotel, but the room was clean and functional and it's close to the sights in the fort area. The rooftop restaurant is quite nice. Only con is that there are construction sites on two sides of the hotel at the moment that were rather noisy during the day.

Just book yr room, no hesitation ”
First of all let me tell u how I feel for the very first arriving. The owners welcome me with a smile and their service is the best ever. They treat me like a family and the hotel is in a good location. One minute walk from the last airport bus stop. The hotel facilities are perfect, the air con, TV, hot water shower. All perfect. The rooftop restaurant has various choices. I love all here. Thx for making me a perfect trip in India. Everything’s beyond my expectations, really!! I will definitely come back next time.

Pretty average”
This is India, so all expectations must be tempered with the understanding that the country is still a long way below international standards in virtually every respect, so you go with a sense of humour and expect exactly whaat you get....which is very average quality hotel accomodation. Small, uninteresting, not very comfortable, Bright Heritage Hotel only has one thing going for it, and that is its excellent location in the tourist heart of Fort Cochin. The rooms are very average, as are the batherooms, the beds small and uncomfortable, the in-room tv tiny and the hotel food very ordinary. So, sense of humour packed and expectations left at home, you can at least enjoy what Fort Cochin has to offer, which is lovely scenery, great colonial architecture and warm, friendly, smiley people

Great location, cmofortable and friendly staff”
What a 'great find'. This place is a must to keep on your list of must stays. It has it all - excellent value for money, small and personable, well appointed rooms and spacious. The staff can't do enough for you and the best thing is that they all have such a happy disposition. I travel often and all around the world for business and leisure, and I have not been as happy with the 'Jewel' for all the above reasons. sure it's not 5 star but it is a good 4 star at a great price, so I will be back. I booked in for 1 night and I'm still here a week later. One downfall is the restaurant - not the best but there are plenty within walking distance from the hotel.

Clean well mantained hotel with helpful staff”
The hotel didnt have a lift, but the bellboy carried up the luggage for us. I was a bit taken aback about not having a lift but the hotel was only 3 floors and the staircase was wide and well lit. The room and bathroom were quite modern, clean spacious. The staff gave us pointers on how to spend our time visiting Cochin. Thanks to their advice, we saw how Kathakali dancers have their face painted, and we watched a very interesting cultural show at the cultural village near the hotel. Overall, a good stay.
