Cosy hotel with great value”
the hotel location has been marked wrongly on google map. quite easy to find as it's directly opposite balai bomba arau and the famous hindu temple in arau. there are a small shopping mall, kfc and other convenience shops at 5 mins away. room is clean and comfortable. the small courtyard is a nice place for relaxing in the evening. definitely value for money!

Comfortable & Accommodating”
We were really happy with Brillant Inn, it is probably our favourite Inn at Kedah even if its pretty isolated. It may be far from the other towns but its very easy to roam around the area on foot. You pretty much have everything that you need in that town. But if you really want to go places, it would be best to have a map and a contact person for a taxi to get around because there aren't that much taxis in the area and you would have to ask for the staff for rates so the drivers dont overprice because there are no meters. The staff has been very accommodating!. There are no words for it. You'll instantly feel comfortable around them and they attend to all of your needs even in the wee hours in the morning. What I love about them is they recommend the best food in the area and everybody is smiling all the time. The rooms are so clean and comfortable. They are air-conditioned too! Its a good place to unwind and recharge after a long day. If you're there to explore and look for something to do, the staff of Brillant Inn can help you out and lead you to the right direction.

We check in at 7pm and well greeted by the staff. Quite place to stay and relax but any traveller need to have own transport or rented otherwise need to walk about 3km for food. Generally there is a lot of food stall in the radius of 5km. Nearby shopping complex C-Mart to browse. However what is to expect at Arau unless there is plan to go to places like Istana Arau, Taman Ular, Kuala Perlis and embark to Langkawi. The people is friendly and helpful. The hotel doest provide food.

Simple and value for money”
Simple and budget hotel for tourist or business travel. Location easy to find coz already mention in front Balai Bomba Arau. Room clean, standard with king size bed and all room at ground floor no staircase easy for children or senior citizen. Food easily can find at main road, near to Arau town. Limited facility and room amenities no fridge, wardrobe, kiblat arrow and phone.

Lovely hotel with a big and clean room”
We arrived around 11 pm and it was very difficult for us to find the hotel, as the marking from the Agoda map is not good. It was very dark, so we could not see the bomba as well (other reviewers have written that it is on the other side of the bomba). Luckily, some very nice local people told us that we have driven too far on the road and we found the hotel after turning back on the same road. The room was very big and clean and with modern design. The bathroom was good but without hot water - the only bad point. The garden was lovely. We had a wonderful stay.

lovely hotel with good service”
we were 5 girls staying in superior deluxe room. the room is definitely big enough to fix all of us. The hotel location is easy to find and was very clean and quite at night. We stayed there for one night in our trip to Perlis and it definitely is a good place to overnight. The only thing is there was only one mirror in the room which is in the toilet and not enough for us to tidy up ourselves at the same time. And there was no cuboard or anything else for us to hang our clothes. Hope these could be improved.

Decent budget inn, but not secure enough”
although the standard king room is small, but it's acceptable by considering the price that you're paying per night. no hooks or hangers in room to hang the clothes, which is very inconvenient. please consider to enhance its security measures, as it seems like anybody could enter & exit freely around brilliant inn as well as to the guests' area. no security doors between lobby and room area.

Excellent Room!”
The family room we stayed in was spacious and the bed is extra-ordinary big. Very nice room. The only problem is that our room was next to the garden (in-door garden) and it was so nicely set-up. We had problem to sleep as people we having nice time chit-chatting and laughing until 4 am there. The door to the garden should be closed by 11 pm to avoid distruptions to other guest. Location wise,strategic for shoppers, very near to Padang Besar and Thai border.
