This hotel is perfectly located just minutes away from the airport as well as all of the motorway systems, and Manchester City Centre. The hotel is not only ideally located for the airport and the above attractions, but much more, such as the Manchester United, Old Trafford Cricket Ground, and Trafford Park. This great location and the easy airport access make it the perfect spot for travelers whether you are coming or going. The hotel and its rooms are fully modern, designed to maximalize the amount of indoor natural light that is available. Bedrooms include many amenities such as TV, telephone, Hairdryer, Trouser Press, and Tea and Coffee facilities. After you check in be sure to enjoy a delicious meal at the family oriented hotel Restaurant, or relax with a drink at the Palatine bar.

Very convenient for the airport, they run a shuttle bus from early morning for only six pounds ”
Convenient for the airport
Clean and comfortable. Excellent airport transfer at only £6 return each. Restaurant surprisingly attractive in contrast to the external 60's architecture and food good too at reasonable price. Surprised myself by picking up a recipe tip (mushrooms, tarragon and cream sauce on passata topped sourdough - delicious)
Any port in a storm”
Dated 1980’s throwback, but we was desperate and not prepared to pay £150 or more for a hotel nearer to the airport. It was a bed for the night. Cost £30 though for a taxi to and from the hotel and that was through the hotel
A lovely Surprise”
I booked this hotel not knowing really what id get for such a reasonable rate. It turned out to be a wonderful place. Transfers to and from the airport were quick and efficient and cost only £6.00 return! My room was lovely...i was very surprised as it really did impress me. Clean, comfortable, great shower, and all the usuals you'd expect but for a third of the price of the onsite hotels. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be using it again, plus all the check in staff were quick and efficient another thing we all want when we travel. A secret gem....wonderful
Excellent for the money!”
Brittania is situated about three miles from Manchester airport. Rooms are fairly small especially the bathroom but perfectly functional. A lovely bar area downstairs at reasonable prices. Food was pub food and great as we ate twice here, once the mixed grill and once the Ham and eggs. Breakfast served as an optional extra at 7 GBP. Airport taxi is 10 GBP. Rooms were clean, linen was good, sheets were fresh. Will stay here anytime I am in Manchester near the airport. I much prefer the laid back attitude of the staff who were also friendly.
The room had holes in wall The desk required a good repair
Not in the best state. ”
The hotel looks rather run down, smelly hallways, food wrappers behind the bed stand, dirty carpeting, and hairs under the blankets. Also no free internet, you get 20 minutes and after that you have to buy a voucher. It is a cheap hotel but cheap doesn’t mean run down. But it’s close to the airport, maybe 10 minutes by Uber.
Good as an overnight stop. Comfortable but shabby furniture and old tv. ”
Good value for money as an overnight stop close to the airport with efficient shuttle service ( additional charge). Bed was comfortable, shower was good but shabby furniture, cracked sink. Staff really helpful and parking good.
Perfectly adequate hotel for one or two nights. Parking is a bit tricky”
This hotel is situated next to a motorway, few miles outside Manchester city centre and on the way to the Airport. I believe they provide airport shuttle. This hotel caters mostly for air travellers that require an overnight stay or parking. As a hotel, I thought it was perfectly adequate. The bedroom was clean and comfortable. The room was spacious for the price you pay, and bathroom and shower were functioning as they should. My bedroom was facing the motorway and I could hardly hear the traffic noise (maybe I was lucky). Some light sleepers might find it a bit more troublesome than I did. Bus stops are within short walking distance to and from city centre/airport. The hotel is near a town so can get last minutes supplies if necessary. Overall, I would come back to this hotel if I need a quick stop over in Manchester again.
Great hotel and great value for money”
Not like pics online but the staff were friendly, room was big and clean and honestly thought for 39 pounds it was mega Only issue the toilet took a few tries to flush but that wasn’t the end of the world
Handy for an overnight stay”
I like this hotel as it's good value and not far from the airport. The staff are lovely and the hotel is clean, if rather dated. The rooms are so quiet too. You don't hear any noise from the other rooms and the beds are comfy. There is always plenty of hot water and you have everything you need in the room. The only slight negative was the breakfast. There was a shortage of crockery and a lot of the glasses were broken. I think a lot of the food had gone by the time we got there. £7 each seemed like quite a lot for a slice of toast, a bowl of cornflakes and a cup of coffee. Maybe best to get down to breakfast a bit earlier next time :-)
I can honestly 100% recommend this hotel. ”
It was very clean and tidy, the staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere in the bar was great along with a very good happy hour and we had the platter which was simple but lovely. Basic rooms for just what you need when traveling to the airport. They order the taxi for you it is very prompt and cost £13 with airport parking charges. Really enjoyed our night there.
The location was really good for us due to it being close to the airport, the downside to it was the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were wafer thin to sleep on meaning neither of us got a decent sleep. There also wasn’t a large duvet on the bed merely a single covering sheet
Cheapest hotel which was close to the airport. Just needed somewhere to stop for a few hours as we had travelled from North Wales with 2 young children and our flight was at 6 am. Room definitely wasn't as modern as the photo but did the job and served our purpose perfectly.
Non-existent customer service at this hotel.”
If you want a manager screaming and swearing at you over the desk because THEY messed up your reservation, book here. Never going here again. And I was refused a refund even though they messed the room type up and we didn't even enter the room (we opened the door, saw it was wrong and went straight back to reception) and we didn't stay at the hotel either. Worst customer service I have ever seen.
Ive stayed at this hotel many times as its near for my business meeting. This occasion on arrival I waited at the reception desk to be attended too - there were 3 staff on duty - one attended to a couple for check in and while I stoid waiting my turn at least twice people butted in to ask about different things but on the third time I had to protest that I was waiting to check in. At breakfast in the morning i couldnt find a large plate for my breakfast so I had to use a tea plate, when I asked a member of staff where the large plates were he kept tapping my plate to tell me that was a plate I had in my hand. He went and got someone else to come out to see me I think it was the chef I explained to him and he walked me about fifteen feet to plates that were in a cupboard and gave me one, when I asked why the plates weren't next to the breakfast food he just shrugged his shoulders! Might be staying somewhere else in future!!
loved it the price the room the service but they could have give us a check out time off of 12 rather then 11. apart from that great area right location right price 100 % - would refer to family and friend def. kind regards adnan
First time that we've stayed here and although the staff were efficient and friendly, our experience was spoilt by the restaurant. The chef had done a good job with inferior ingredients so the resulting food was edible but tough and bland. Breakfast was overseen by a very charming and helpful gentleman who was out of his depth due to an obvious lack of training, he was unable to operate the card machine so we had to pay cash. This was not a problem because it was just short of twenty pounds but the poor man was obviously put in an uncomfortable position and one has to wonder why he was left on his own. Not an experience I wish to repeat.
Very nice rooms spotless , nice bar comfortable beds , Bus stop to Piccadilly right outside , Big car park if driving . Breakfast was very nice and reasonably priced for a full English buffet , really enjoyed my stay here
Very friendly staff ”
Great stay, friendly staff couldn’t do enough for you, although rooms were clean our room was Next to those smoking out of the window so it did waft in our room a little which is disrespectful to what is a good value and recommend hotel
