Very basic- wrong name makes the place very difficult to find”
We booked this guest house whilst we were visiting the bromo national park. The name of this guesthouse is not ‘bromo holiday guest house’ as we found out when we were trying to find it- when we first arrived we were told that the guesthouse wasn’t rhe correct place but when we looked online we found a photo of the guesthouse which we then showed the guy who happened to be around who then decided it was the correct place- we still don’t know the real name of this guesthouse. The guesthouse is well located for visiting mount bromo, the room itself had a clean bed and a toilet but no sink. We think that this is overpriced for what you get. We paid 250 K Rp for one night

Okay for last minute option, but try to find better”
Overall, if you are very last minute, and need to get to Cemoro Lawang on a budget, this guesthouse is somewhat okay. But I would definitely try to book something else earlier. First, the room was not clean, the bed smelled like someone had slept there earlier and the sheets were not fresh, there was only one power outlet that was very high and broken, so it was hard to charge our phone. The toilet was by far the most disgusting we had seen in Java. The host did not explain us how it worked (it did not flush and was full of smelly urine), the shower did not work and you had to use a bucket, and it smelled disgusting. The only good thing was that the host was helpful, showing us the way when we were lost.

Hard to get a good accommodation for a fair price in Cemoro Lawang as everything is overpriced there. The guesthouse is listed in several name on Agoda for different prices... so I’m not sure we could say we got what we paid for. The room was cold and humid. Fine enough to stay before enjoying sunrise on Bromo. Hot water in the common bathroom. The power was off one night but they ran the generator on so we could get a shower.

I would not recommend. It is not very clean, dark, very cold. There is no hot water or any other amenities. It is hard to find, almost as if they wouldnt want you to find it since it was already paid in advance online. The staff wasnt welcoming nor helpful.

Pasamos mucho frío”
No tenía calefacción y hacía mucho frío. Estaba sucio y descuidado, la puerta medio rota, la topa de cama desastrosa. La ubicación es muy cerca del Bromo, por ese lado genial, aunque nuestro conductor no lo encontró fácilmente pese a tener las indicaciones de Agoda. La persona que nos atendió nos hizo de guía local nos ayudó en todo y fue súper amable.

la premiere nuit nous avions une chambre avec une odeur d'egouts, pas d'eau et pas de douche, après avoir demandé a plusieurs reprises a changer nous avons pu avoir une chambre correcte

Points négatifs : Nous sommes arrivées à 22h30 (le check in est jusqu'à 23h), à peine le pied dans l'hôtel on s'est fait sauter dessus par les membres du personnel pour booker un shuttle le lendemain (et en plus on nous a menti en disant que mon amie arriverait à 17h à Denpasar alors qu'elle est arrivée à minuit!), pendant ce temps là l'un d'eux m'a passé sans prévenir un client au téléphone afin que je gère son booking (et ils nous ont refait le coup le lendemain). J'ai été très triste de voir que 2 personnes âgées de 80 ans environ dormaient sur le canapé dans l'entrée... Il n'y a pas possibilité d'avoir de l'eau potable. Chambre petite avec qu'une seule prise murale (en hauteur en plus...), une seule couverture pour le lit (ce qui est insuffisant à cette altitude). Point positif : vraiment à côté de Bromo. Pas cher : nous avons eu la chambre pour 2 pour 100k. A noter (mais c'est un village assez reculé donc c'est plutôt normal) : Les toilettes sont sans papiers toilette et sans chasse d'eau.

Sporchissimo, il bagno non era stato pulito e non c’era il lavandino, le coperte erano luride. Non c’era nessuno della guest house presente e il tutto sembrava molto equivoco. Mai dormito in un posto peggiore.
