Bronze Beach Villa

The beautifully decorated properties kitchen, tv room, dining room and braai area are on the ground floor with a lawn overlooking the sea. Lovely to sit outside. The three bedrooms upstairs are a good size, neat and clean and also beautifully decorated. The property is very private and we will definitely want to stay there again.

There were construction that we were not told about. The parking and property are very far apart when carting your luggage. There is also no roof over some of the stairs with water running down the stairs which were very slippery. No one seemed to mop the outside stairs after the rain.

The apartment is bigger than the pictures portray. The furniture and styling is top quality and well maintained. The staff are amazing. I left my purse behind and it was returned to me. The views are incredible -we even got to see the whales breaching from our room.

My only “complaint” is the sound of the sea is so loud you have to close the doors when you get tired of it....,.Im kidding. Nothing to complain about!

It’s a very modern home with all required amenities. The view of the Indian Ocean from the living room and main bedroom is beautiful. The location is great.. very close to the Pearl Mall and various food joints. The housekeep staff was very helpful. Overall an excellent experience.

The outdoor Brai facility could be improved.

Modern, immaculate apartment equipped with everything my family and I could possibly need during our stay. Breathtaking views of the ocean with the beach on our doorstep! Will definitely be coming back!

The location was just perfect with views that made us feel we were on a tropical island. Everything was in the unit and we felt sad at leaving after only spending one week. Absolutely lovely.

Everything in this apartment was beyond excellent. We will definitely be booking here again. One of our best stays in Umghlanga .

The property is located near the beach and allows for easy access. Kevin and Sandra are available to assist with anything that is needed. The apartment was spotless and very well appointed. The view from the main bedroom is amazing!

The bathrooms needed a bit more ventilation and maybe a choice of pillows would have been good. The garden is smaller than expected but great for the kids to play in.

the hand over was great, good communication. I enjoyed the access code facility was easy to use. rooms was cleaned and well serviced.

the property did not have a lift and was a great effort to get the luggage to the room(3 flights of stairs). the braai area was dilapidated.

Bronze Beach Villa has a wonderful location. The living areas and rooms were spacious and looked amazing. Fully functional kitchen. Great sea view from the master bedroom, nice bathrooms and very comfortable beds. The cleaning lady (Sandra) was very nice and kind.

Unfortunately, during the scorching afternoon heat in Durban, we were unable to find the villa. When we arrived at the given address that had no property name on the wall, the security guard told us that there was no place called Bronze Beach Villa there. We were told to go a few properties further up the road to Bronze Beach apartments. Upon arriving there, we were clearly in the wrong place. We went back to the stated address which we found out to be “The Bermudas”, we were eventually able to contact the property manager who explained that we needed a code to get into the property and gave it to us. We were told that the manager was unable to send the required information to our international mobile number which was strange to me. I found it difficult to believe that no international guests had stayed at the property before. The living areas and rooms looked amazing but upon closer, inspection, the couches were a bit dirty and the coffee tables, quite unstable. The washing machine had a moldy rubber and smelled of mold so I was not able to do any laundry while there. I was also misled by the photos of the tiny gate overlooking the ocean, to believe that it led to the beach. This was not the case and we needed to use a separate exit to gain access to the beach. Although a decent stay with wonderful views, I was surprised that our experience was not better considering the price we paid.

the first impression of the villa was great, the lounge and living area was modern, clean and attractive. the main bedroom was good and the views of the sea were good. it was very accessible to restaurants and shops!!

sadly the stairs down to the villa were in need of serious repair, it would have been helpful to know there were a lot of stairs as well. We also believed the 2nd bedroom was bigger, no sitting area at all, it was crowded although our friends used the 3rd room for their possessions.

IT IS AN APARTMENT SO NO BREAKFAST BUT THEY DID LEAVE COFFEE TEA AND MILK

UNFORTUNATELY WE RETURNED EARLY AS FOR 24 HOURS HAD NO WATER . DID CALL THE AGENT TO ASK IF CONDITIONS WERE OK AND MAYBE THEY THOUGHT AT THAT STAGE ALL WAS OK BUT WHEN THE WATER WAS OFF AND WEATHER CONDITIONS NOT GOOD WE MADE THE DECISION TO LEAVE 2 NIGHTS EARLY. WE HAD A BABY OF 16 MONTHS SO VERY DIFFICULT.
