Our second stay at Brunton Boatyard and everything was again perfect. A classically beautiful building with such an interesting view and top facilities. Staff meet your every need in such a sweet way, nothing is too much. The complimentary sunset cruise, afternoon tea and great breakfasts are all amazing. I also recommend the Ayurvedic massage. My stay at Brunton Boatyard was absolutely superb. I had a balcony sea view room with views of the ships sailing past. Absolutely superb. The food here was amongst the best I have had in India. The staff were incredible and so eager to please. Will come again soon but next time I will ensure a much longer stay.

We stayed at the boatyard for a couple of night. The location is superb, right in the middle of the most beautiful area of Fort Kochi. The staff at the hotel was very helpful and the food was great. Hotel room was spectacular with colonial decor and cleanliness matched only by other 5 stars. In short, we had a great time and would visit again if possible.

From our Being welcomeD by Jenifer throughout our stay until we drove away to Varkala everything about Brunton Boatyard was perfect. Our room, The view from the balcony, the pool, the restaurants indoor and garden areas were perfectly appointed and serviced by efficient, professional and charming staff. Blissful stay at Brunton Boatyard ”
After cheap and cheerful guesthouses as we travelled through north India we decided to treat ourselves for the final few days in Kerala at Brunton Boatyard and were highly impressed with the hotel. The rooms were so comfortable especially the beds and had amazing views from our balconies from the bedroom and bathroom. The breakfast each morning was delicious (vast array of items to choose from, particularly loved the fresh juices, warm banana bread and the eggs benedict) and the one evening we had dinner there was nice. I have nothing but praise for all the staff that we encountered during our stay (friendly and extremely helpful). Would highly recc staying at Brunton Boatyard.

The CGH group of hotels never cease to impress. I was transformed to another time at this residence. The fit and finish was carefully thought through, and the effort put into sustainability throughout the hotel was amazing. The taste of the filtered rain water was divine! The staff looked after us so much, even making my birthday dinner truly special. They made a cake that followed our dietary requests. If you need to stay in Fort Kochi area, look no further than this hotel. AMAZING.

A wonderful mini-vacation!”
I had a wonderful 2 1/2 day visit. The staff was extremely capable, friendly and was very helpful in lining up a backwater tour, transportation/guide to the spice market and shopping in Fort Kochi, and other activities for my short stay. The Yoga classes and the cooking demonstrations were excellent.

unbeatable waterfront view”
My 2nd visit to Bruntons, I was there about 5 years ago. Now starting to show it's age but waterfront location offers fantastic view of harbour activity. Ships sail right past the hotel, incredibly close. The breakfast was very good and outside afternoon tea very nice before dusk. Kochi Fort is a long way from the city so an trip to my bank was an hour each way. Nice place to visit the historic port area for a couple of days. It is possible to access the city via nearby ferry, but a bit of walking is needed each end and getting on and off is not for the fainthearted.

Excellent”
We arrived with our very fussy six year old who will only eat very plain food, and no dairy ! The staff here were amazing, they constantly asked how things were and what they could do to help her enjoy the food, even sending out the chef at meal times to ask how we would like things prepared. The Fort Kochin area is a calm vibrant small Indian town., with history and art to see. The hotel is right in the heart of this. We watched Dolphins and Peacocks from the lovely safe swimming pool, which most days was empty. The staff at this hotel are truly outstanding. Our room was very clean, and well maintained, we did not book a river view room and our balcony did look out over the row if rubbish bins so this was not somewhere to sit. There were no real negatives here, cooking demos, yoga, board games and plenty of advice if required. The spa was underwhelming, and not something I would personally recommend, but again did not detract from the overall experience.

Pros: We saw dolphins multiple times from our room Staff are helpful and friendly Property is well maintained with spacious bathrooms, plush mattresses and effective air conditioning. Arrival at the hotel was attractive, very friendly reception, a nice introduction to the hotel history, a nice introduction to the room facilities. The view from the suite on the right wing of the building was extroordinary. The interior very pleasant. We liked the tea lounge and its furniture, the "air-conditioning"-system at the ground floor and the warm reception by service people. We recommeded our friends to stay there once the are in Cochin. We could never find such standard in Europe at the same price.
