We really spent a good stay there !! The room was really beautiful, with a lot of space, equipments and a great view over the Mekong river !! The hotel is really well situated and the staff is really kind and considerate ! I really recommend it !

Pick the river view!!!”
We stayed here but unfortunately chose a city view room due to our budget. That was a good price per night, located very close to all tourist attractions. The next day, I peeked into one of the rooms on the opposite side of the hallway. I still regret not paying slightly more for one of those rooms, they were sooooo much better! Best views of all the hotels around the Mekong.

The view was gorgeous overlooking Laos right on the Mekong. The room was huge with lovely bathroom. Great balcony overlooking the stupa and the Mekong. Comfyy bed and smart TV. Overlooking the Triangle park and the opium museum. A big supermarket just to the left it has everything. The staff spoke great English.

Very relaxing and cozy stay ”
We enjoyed our stay in the riverview ropm very much. The view from our 3rd floor balcony and the rooftop was amazing. The hotel is renovated and the rooms are very zen. They have a Smart TV too. Breakfast was bro7ght to our room. Warm rice soup. fruits, coffee, juice and roast available as well. Very tasty. Had a great relaxing stay

Affordable Hotel near to Golden Triangle ”
The hotel is located only 2 minutes walk to Golden Triabgle area (scenic view of meting point of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos). The room was cleaned and furnished with essencial things. The staffs were nice and well corporate.

Good value in Golden Triangle!”
I would definitely stay at Buakum Riverside the next time I visit Thailand's Golden Triangle! My room on the 3rd floor was spotlessly clean and had a great view of the lights on the Laos side at night. The price was great value for money. Minuses: No internet access in room, only Hotspot capability. Also, I was under the impression that this hotel is located in the town of Chiang Saen, but it is actually 10 km. away in Wiang in the Golden Triangle -- this fact needs to be made clearer in the hotel description.

Exceed Expectation”
Although the hotel did not look nice on the outside, the inside was spacious. I recommend booking a room with river view. The room was big and clean with balcony, where you can see the river and sunrise in the morning. Bathroom was also big with bath tub available. The price was cheap that I did not expect much. For dining, I recommend Mekong Pizza, which is around 300m from the hotel. The hotel is situated right in the middle of tourism area of golden triangle. There is also a convenience store right in front of the hotel. Best value you can ever find in the area.

The room is very beautiful, just like on the pictures- nice design and new (choose river view, it’s worth it!)- good value for the price. The shower dough has really low pressure, and the front desk is barely occupied, you will find them next door. I would stay again, recommended

Best in town”
The hotel is newly renovated. Very clean. Spacious room (river view) with all the amenities you need. And the incredible Mekong river view! 7-eleven and a wholesale grocery store are next doors. They provide the toast and boiled eggs in the morning too. Best value of money. Recommended and will stay there again.

Convenient and budget”
The resort locates close to many tourism spots, I could visit to all of them within half a day. The view from the room is very nice, I could see sunrise of which the foreground is Mekong river and Laos. But there was a new building which has been constracting and blocks a half of the view. The room was sufficiently clear. Some equipments in the bathroom were partially broken down but they are still be able to be used. The water is warm. Another weak point is that there were only 3 electrical outlets, for a lamp, a T.V. and a refrigerator. You may need to bring your own extention lead if needed.

Ok for one night”
Overall good but we had ants in our room. the floor was not really clean and the furnitures were dusty. The bath was quite new and clean, internet connection was good. I think the rooms on the riverside are better but more expensive. In my opinion this hotel/hostel the price should be settled at 300 baht maximum for a double room street view. Overall ok, but the price is a bit too high for what you get.

Good location but just another guesthouse”
there was no-one at the reception when we arrived in mid-afternoon so we asked in the adjoining shop which turned out to be the same owners. we got a room with a mae khong river view and it's true there was a view of the river but it was over a large tin roof and a noisy car park. the room was quite small and basic and the bathroom was very small with very poor water pressure. the bed was comfortable enough.
