This boutique resort is set away from Chiang Mai's city center in a small village. Spend a day in the Old City, visiting some of over 300 temples, browsing the shops, and getting a spa treatment. Visit the much revered Doi Suthep Temple, Bhumping Palace, botanical gardens, and the night safari. Being outside the city limits gives you a quiet holiday, while at the same time, you are just a short ride away from the crowds of Thailand's second largest city. You can hire a car along with a driver from the hotel to explore the city, or rent a bicycle to better acquaint yourself with the nearby attractions. BuaSaree Resort is a charming little property in the equally charming city of Chiang Mai.

Seivice with smile”
I came back here for the second time. Last year, I left my necklace and the owner still keeps that for me. And she can recognize me as well. The room was average but the view and the weather was so clean. I could fresh myself up. I love this hotel.
Great location, really nice accommodations!”
we really like this place. very cute and fancy. the pool was right off the rooms which was nice. they didn't offer any western food but were willing to get any kind of thai food we wanted. they even ran into town to get some requests. great value for the money. our only disappointment was the limited english tv stations. also we had some problems with cable box. it kept freezing up and locking us out for periods of time which made watching a movie not worth the trouble. the tv was also big and boxy. i wish they could invest in some flat screens.
Picturesque boutique hotel ”
We enjoyed everything about this hotel. The rooms were unique and clean. The staff catered to our every need. The western breakfast couple with an excellent Thai menu was delicious. To top it all off, the price on everything from the free airport shuttle to the room was great.
Calm and quiet hotel :) ”
It didn take us long to reach this hotel. A very simple and nice hotel. The service is good and the food is nice too. The staff are really helpful. We slept very well for the 2 nights in Buasaree.
Friendly Resort and good breakfast”
the hotel is so clean, and we had little problem on communication by booking through the internet, but the hotel's supervisor is so kind and friendly to solve problem for us. especially, we could choose our breafast either the oriental style or the european style, so we felt like staying at home. if we plan to visit chiangmai, will stay at the buasaree resort!
Nice place to relax outside the city”
we had a pleasent time at bua saree and enjoyed the stay. the staff was friendly and tried to help where possible. they even gave us tipps where to go best. the only negative thing for us was that without a taxi it's quite impossible to go to the city (but no problem to get a transfer).
Lovely cottages and service with a smile”
Small resort but homely. Very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting at the patio, having supper, coffee and tea. We sat at the patio for hours chatting after a day of sight-seeing. Wi-fi was very fast and the service was fantastic. To think we had two ladies serving us each day with a smile was very satisfying.
Best place to stay”
Overall I would say this is the best value for money place we have so far stayed at in Thailand. Very friendly warm hosts, great meals, nothing too much trouble. A lot of other resorts/hotels could use a dose of what these people use.
an absolute sanctuary after 2 weeks of travelling”
would highly recommend. The breakfast was fabulous and generous especially for our kids. we didn't want to leave. great location near the handicrafts and furniture markets. cycling around etc. everyone very friendly and helpful. the rooms were a little quirky but large and very comfortable. a kids enjoyed having space to run around in the gardens and to go cycling
loved this resort. it was just what we were looking for. nuch and the driver were very helpful and made our stay perfect. breakfast was wonderful, had 3 choices and the food they had on the menu was delicious. the pool is incredible.i recommend a massage in the room. it was just what we needed after a long day. the resort is about 15-20 minutes from chiang mai city. watch out for the mosquitos in that area!
wonderful hotel in the country side”
the hotel is about 15 minutes from the city but they have a very useful taxi that took us to the city at any time and to the local restaurant which was very good and cheap. the place is amazing and they have a swimming pool that is always open. highly recomended
A wonderful place to stay when it is Chiang Mai”
best thing for such a small cozy resort is 'hospitality', and bua sa-ree did a great job on that. it was obviously 'friend & family' type of service. i am not local chiang mai, but could find the resort very easily. this place is far from town enough to be peaceful and close enough to get to any place in chiang mai in just a few minutes. a lovely lovely place, recommended to any one who seeks for a peaceful atmosphere with great (and i meant great!) price /performance
Although 15 mins from Chiang Mai central, this hotel had a wonderful atmosphere, authentic local charm and hospitality. Be prepared for no English on Thai being spoken, but help is at hand with a telephone call to an interpreter if you get stuck. The inhouse evening meals are local and excellent.
Very Relaxing and Charming Hotel”
The hotel was delightful. Very small and intimate, the rooms are tastefully designed with a Moroccan theme. Everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, unobtrusive yet helpful at the same time. A great place to unwind and relax. You could easily sit by the pool or explore the local area on bicycles.
Good to stay here this place is not far from downtown city you can travel by bus taxi or private car you can rent a car from downtown about food you can order from hotel kitchen it is easy and food has very good taste but if you want local food you can easily walk to the nearby cuisine.
Perfect place to do nothing but stop and relax”
This was the perfect hotel to spend a few nights of pure relaxation. It is out of the city, only surrounded by small towns and rice paddy fields. The food was delicious and cheap and staff were incredibly friendly despite the language barrier. I recommend this hotel/resort for anyone who wants a few days of nothing-ness and quiet.
Lovely place and great service ”
Had a lovely couple a days here..liked the peaceful surroundings so much stayed an extra night. Breakfast excellant, studio rooms very nice and in a lovely country setting. Downside to it was that it is far away from everywhere...although locals in village were very pleasant to us. Without transport getting to eat in evening was a struggle...nearest resturant was a good long walk away! Staff were happy to take us to pick up a take away though! All in all a nice little place of tranquilty for a few days.
Lovely hotel around Chiang Mai.”
I've loved to stay in Buasaree resort. Staff was so lovely, food is absolutely delicious (breakfast, lunches and dinner), the hotel is beautiful and the pool is just amazing. This was the perfect escape for me for two days, I left with my energies completely recharged.
very quiet resort,,,,pleasant gardens,,,good breakfast although repeated,,,staff very good, pleasant, clean.rooms need updating but good enough,,,transport needed but some provided..near a local village where noice could be a problem..room cleaned daily by pleasant lady, and breakfast served well by thai lady,,all in all i will comr back again
bua saree for son kran”
all in all a beautiful little boutiqe resort, with magnificent facilities and friendliest staff in the world, they treat you like family, even the cleaners were laughing and joking with you all the time.if you dont have a car you do have to rely on the staff for lifts, and although more than happy to do so,it still makes you feel a bit guilty phoning them late at night for a pick up,when they have been working hard all day themselves.
