Cute kitten alert!”
We had a lovely stay here, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort is on a quiet side of the island but we hired a moped from the resort and found we could get to all the main attractions within 30 minutes. We also found an abandoned kitten while we stayed here, named her “Squeak” for the cute noises she made and nursed her back to health. Our hosts kindly offered to adopt her so if you stay here you can keep this little critter company along with all the other lovely animals at the resort.

WORTH IT!”
Our stay in Siquijor is very memorable. We were able to relax and meet wonderful people at Buco Beach. The owner and the staff are very accommodating and kind. If you want to stay in a quiet and affordable place in Siquijor, then this suits your budget. Plus if you love dogs, then this place is for you too 🥰

Highly recommended”
Very nice and quite place to stay on Siquijor, natural beach, lovely locals around. Very nice and helpful staff. Especially Lin. Homemade nice food! You can rent a motorbike at Buco Beach resort and go everywhere. Maria is a very small and relaxed town with little traffic. It is approx. half an hour from San Juan, the main tourist area. Highly recommended.

Great place”
Very good place. Good accommodation, very welcoming host and staff, placed right near the coast, there is also a restaurant at your disposal. The resort provides scooters for rent as well. We were very pleased that we stayed here, and were really upset about our departure. Thank you so much!

Very relaxed and chilled! ”
Very cheap place with a restaurant and the food is very cheap also, a nice view as it's right by the beach! Only negative is there isn't much else around the area so would definitely need a scooter to explore the island.

Lovely and relaxing”
A great place to relax. The common areas are really nice and clean. The food was good and the staff was great. It's a bit off the beaten track, but we prefer that. It's easy to see the sights by scooter, which you can rent at the resort. There are lots of friendly & cute pets here so if you are terrified of cuddly puppies and kittens this is not the place for you:)

Had an excellent stay”
Had an excellent stay at buco beach resort. Highly recommend as it’s 10km from the waterfalls 20km. Super friendly staff who went above and beyond during our stay. Fireflys near the mangroves. Beach wasn’t very clean and had lots of sand mites but this didn’t affect the stunning views and Saladong beach was only 5km away so you can go swimming and snorkeling there.

Quiet, wonderful staff, close to cambugahay falls”
Good value for your money. They even provided free new year's eve dinner! Not close to the city though, but they will call and arrange transport for you.

you get what you pay for”
Yes there's nothing nearby but if you rented a motorbike that won't be a problem. Stayed in the dorm and I was the only guest in the entire hostel. They were renovating and everything was dusty. Water from the sink smelled of rust, shower area is visible from the loft (they have to do something about that! Put a curtain or something.). No lockers, but towels, toilet paper, and toiletries are provided. Accommodating staff. Mangroves behind the property has tons of fireflies which was a nice surprise. Great view of the sunrise too. Weirdly enough their sockets are type C (round type), as a local I wasn't expecting I'd have to borrow adapters.

Danger stay away....Really!”
Rundown place with terrible overpriced restaurant and the food is horrible as well. rooms are ok if you enjoy rats running around the ceiling. Bathroom was unreal, dirty full of mold and just plain disgusting. Beach don't even waste your time. un-swimmable and filthy. Don't make the mistake we made in staying here for four nights. I cannot think of one positive thing to say about the place. Oh, maybe false advertising. we were so happy to leave!

Loved our time on Siquijor! ”
Yes, the resort is far away from the bigger towns, and the trike to get there was quite expensive (500 pesos), but overall we loved our time here. It was very quiet, and the scenery was beautiful. With a decent sized room and sound of waves as you fall asleep, you cannot complain too much! If you want to do anything though, you will need a scooter. If you are not a driver, I do not recommend this place because the island has so many wonderful places to explore, like great viewpoints, waterfalls, and beaches. One thing I did not like so much about this place was the food. The taste is decent, but I thought it was a little overpriced for what it was (We went to Lazi or Larena for some of the meals). In summary, if you are comfortable on a scooter, this is a great place to stay!

One night stay”
Stayed for one night while travelling around Siquijor. Slept in a cute little cottage with two beds and a bathroom. Location was away from the main area of Siquijor but was perfect for visiting the waterfalls early in the morning. Not much nearby but they have a restaurant on site. Property is pretty and on the beach- beautiful sunrise and sunset. Lots of animals on site! Would be a fun place for kids. Great value for the money, would stay again.

Excellent value”
The staff at Buco Beach is friendly and helpful. We were the only guests and they catered to all of our needs. The room was clean and comfortable. The only downsides are the beach, which is rather muddy and rocky with an obscured view, and the food. We admired the hosts' admirable effort, but we found the food uninspired. However, the excellent price and the secluded, quiet location are worth seeking out. With the motorbike rental we had no trouble exploring the island, finding other options for food and seeing some of the more pristine, beautiful beaches that Siquijor has to offer.

Would recommend this beach front stay!”
The staff here are all fantastic. Very friendly, good service and we decided to eat at their restaurant as the choice is limited around here. The food was excellent especially the morning pancakes. Not bad prices and quick service. The room is a typical bamboo hut but very spacious. The WiFi unfortunately wasn’t great from our room when it did work however if you request room 1 that should be better signal. We hired bikes for cheap from here too which was convenient. As you are nestled in the middle of the tourist attractions around the island.. salagdoong beach cliff jumping, waterfalls, coconut farm. The owner was very chatty and couldn’t do enough for you. Would recommend. Thank you
